(1) The prices are unbelievable (or were in Monday night): no cover charge, 1€ bag check, 6€ for what I think was an entire liter of beer, 3€ shots. Even in Spain that would be a bargain, let alone the middle of Paris. (2) The hours served me really well. I'm always happy to find a club open on weekday evenings. Things were already moving at about 10:00 (very early by European standards). (3) The people were partying! When I arrived there were only about a dozen, but the dancing was very on. Some other clubs seem to wait until the room is packed and the people are drunk, but these people were at it from the beginning. It was almost entirely guys and girls in their early 20s, possibly a couple more guys than girls at the time, but not a huge disparity and possibly a fluke. (4) The music wasn't great but it did the trick. Bunch of over-popular US songs (mostly rock and some hip-hop) mixed with some French numbers. No real DJ work going on but hey, it was party music and it had the people moving. All in all, this is a gem. It's almost certainly a local spot mostly unknown to tourists, which is why it's so subtle, so underpriced, and so concentrated with local energy.

There was rolls placed on the table but they were hard as a rock so we couldn't even try them. They also had some croutons sticks with olive tapenade which was okay but not our thing. The drinks had unique flavors but not that much alcohol. The live band was good and kept the patrons involved in their performance (I was handed the mic for a sec lol). The dj that came a little later was good as well but we didn't stay to late to see how much the vibe was going to change. Great salsa and bacahta tunes. There was also an interesting form of French Reggaeton called "Tropiques" Price was 8 Euro on Sunday Night including free drink coupon. I would suggest getting a beer or wine as my Cuba libre was a small amount of rum and a ton of soda. The place had a nice crowd. I would recommend to any foreigner that is comfortable with Miami/NYC/Caribbean nightclubs. The room was very authentically Parisian, not many foreigners here on a Sunday night.
