Mocha Bun - bread was too dry
    Christine S.

I noticed that they had a mocha bun, so I had to try it since I'm on the hunt to find a mocha bun similar to the ones PappaRoti sells. Unfortunately, it didn't taste the same: Mocha Bun - bread was too dry for me & mocha was too subtle. Melon Bun - I surprisingly liked this! At first I didn't want to get it since I wasn't sure how a "Melon bun" would taste. The bread was moist & soft, and It didn't taste like melon at all & tasted more like a milk cream bun. That could be a bad thing for others, but for me, it was delicious. I could use more of the sugar cream they put on top of the bun though. They also sell 1 day old pastries for Buy 1 Get 1 Free. They still taste delicious & close enough to being fresh!

    Cakes yummy

Love this place. Great service and great pastries. Asian bakeries are my favorite because everything is not overly sweet. One of my favorites is the green tea pan. (Bread) so go get you some goodies you won't be disappointed. ;) happy yelping xoxox

they've moved! not only do they still sell their goodies inside greenland market, they also have their own suite in the plaza. they used to have a location in the big sf market plaza. we drove by one day and they were closed and i thought i was gonna throw up. then, we went to greenland market and discovered that they had only just moved. phew!!! same awesome goodies. same great, friendly service. and, still, my favorite asian bakery in town.

    Yummy twist donut

They sell a delicious twist donut. It looks much sweeter than it tastes. It's light, buttery, chewy, fluffy, and yummy! There are many other options that I've yet to try.. But this donut deserves 5 stars!

    Our haul! Great stuff!

Def a spot I tend to make of I am in the area. I have have narrowed it down to the peanut butter and egg custard as my favorites! The bread is so soft, slightly sweet, with the creamy peanut butter filling is ridiculous! The egg custard is creamy, sweet, smooth, and very delicious! This is a place I come go to at least once a week! The prices are very reasonable at $1-$2 per pastry and the have a lot of variety. I also like the cream puffs, so far they have best filling I have tasted besides cream puffs back home in hawaii and at 3 for $1 its something to def give a go! Will def be back for more goodies!

This is so good and addicting! I think it's called Puff Bread!

Love the coffee sponge cake and multi layer cake, but the hot dog and cheese bread is a little greasy!

But once you find the beautiful, ornate wooden door and step inside, you're transported into a charming little wonderland. The interior is unlike any other café in Las Vegas, with a greenhouse feel, small trees, unique décor, and plenty of cozy spaces to relax. The atmosphere is airy, whimsical, and fun. My favorite drink is the Iced Butterfly Latte, a delicious banana-flavored latte that's both unique and refreshing. I've also ordered the Berry Ricotta Brioche several times, and it's always amazing. The menu offers a great variety of pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and specialty drinks, so there's something for everyone. Pro tip: Find a table before ordering! This place gets very busy, and seating fills up quickly. If you're with friends or family, have someone save a table while the others order. Overall, Gäbi is one of my favorite cafés in Las Vegas, and I continue to bring friends and family whenever I get the chance. Between the delicious food and drinks, the beautiful atmosphere, and the hidden speakeasy vibe, it's truly one of the most unique café experiences in town.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

Ordered an ube coffee. Beyond amazing. Also got two strawberry cheese cake doughnuts and a mango mascarpone doughnut. Normally not a huge fan of filling doughnuts but these were perfect. Very small interior, but a vast selection of treats. They offer donuts, cookies, even banana bread! Unfortunately with my evening visit, all of the donuts were sold out. Again, I came for the cookies so not a problem. I chose the Cookie Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie as well as the White Chocolate Chip Ube. I took them home as take out. Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

Unfortunately, today's experience was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, and three cakes. The food was served without any fork or knife. When I asked about it, there was simply no effort to provide basic service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The staff still said no. That response honestly made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was that I had my service dog with me. From the moment I walked in to place my order, I could already feel that the staff member was unhappy and dismissive. I truly hope that wasn't the reason for the way I was treated, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many of my friends have said the same thing: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People come because the products are great, not because they're treated well. Sadly, it feels like there's no hospitality--only attitude. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, back when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, and it's honestly disappointing to see the customer experience decline. Ordering now feels like talking to a robot who simply doesn't care. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew his customers were being treated this way by his staff. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But today's experience was frustrating enough that I felt it needed to be said. Yes, Suzuya makes fantastic cakes--but great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel appreciated, not dismissed.
