I had a colour change on my feet done and it looks very sub-standard. The nail polish bottle was dry and the technician had a hard time applying it. I could not see very well the final result. When I came outside I saw how un-even and choppy it looks and went back suggesting they apply another coat to even it out. The owner just said it's because your nail is not smooth and that was the end of it. No suggestion to correct or even sorry. Said next time use a different colour (not metallic). Two people came out and it was so strange as there wasn't an uplifting feeling or they just didn't care. The workers are fast and friendly. I've only gotten a pedicure done, but I've always left with soft feet and great looking nails. They open relatively early and have quite a large parking lot so finding parking isn't too difficult. As price it seems quite reasonable for Vancouver nowadays. Especially if you're just want a simple polish 10 /10 would go again.

She put so much gel on my nails (4 coats) The gel was so thick it nearly ruined my nails. The gel bubbled in places and she put on sparkle gel without asking me. I went to Crystal Nails and Helen did an exceptional job on my nails. I had to soak my nails in order to remove the thick gel and she did a beautiful job on them, they are perfect and nicely shaped. The salon was very clean and smartly designed. This is my go to place now. Thank you Crystal Nails and Helen for saving my nails.

I just booked regular polish for both of us since I didn't want to do gel with COVID uncertainty. There was no pressure at all to upgrade on the call or when we arrived the day of. (You know how it can be...) First impressions walking in: Very clean and bright. Hand sanitizer was right by the door and they asked us to wash our hands at the sink. Because my friend and I were in the same bubble, we could sit side by side for both pedis and manis. There was plexi glass separating us from the staff and each other when we were getting the manis. They opened up new tools in front of us. Again, important during a pandemic or not!! No one needs a nail infection... Parking: SO MUCH street parking all over. And free! Overall, it was wonderful. The pedicure started off fine with soaking and exfoliating, but when the technician was cutting my nails, she accidentally cut the corner of my left big toe and it started bleeding. She noticed right away and took care of it, and the bleeding stopped quickly. I've had many pedicures before and this was the first time I've ever been cut to the point of bleeding, so I didn't feel comfortable having her continue. I asked her to just colour my nails. Another technician ended up taking over and she was much better and seemed more experienced. My biggest issue was really the cleanliness. Besides the chair, the UV/LED nail lamp was visibly dirty with a lot of old stains and residue on it. Overall, the service was okay, especially after the second nail technician took over, but between getting cut and the cleanliness of the place, I wouldn't come back. I'm very surprised with the good reviews on Google.
