They have daily specials, and a drink menu that has a couple options in every category - including non-alcoholic cocktails! Food options also cover most anything you could want with apps, sharable plates, etc. The salmon tartar with fries and a salad were the perfect dish to share when we got into town and needed a bite but not a full meal. But the selections of main dishes would entice me back for dinner.

We ordered the steak tartare and french onion soup with a bottle of wine. Wine was good, but the food was not. French onion soup lacked the flavor you'd expect. Minimal onions and very watery consistency. It was also a smaller portion. On the flip side, the steak tartare portion was very generous but unfortunately, the taste wasn't there either. I'm not sure if it was because it just wasn't seasoned enough but eating the steak tartare quite literally tasted like I was eating a raw, unseasoned burger. It lacked the dynamic flavor profiles that steak tartare usually has and I'm not one to shy away from raw foods or weird textures.

The reviews of this place looked promising so we decided to give it a try. First off, service was very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we walked up we were given our choice of the tables and were asked for our drink orders. Families, Parisians and tourists from all over were in the restaurant so this not a restaurant aiming to give you the "authentic" Paris experience you can get from back alley bars and cafes. Food was above avg for tourist area restaurants in Paris. My beef bourguinon was excellent though the beef was on the dry side, the stew of potatoes, onions and red wine made up for it. My wife got the pepperoni pizza, not much to say other than that it was pizza. Not great, not terrible but perfect if you have some picky eaters or kids in your group. Now me personally, my favorite places in France were the little cafes that changed their menu on the chalk board each day. The problem is that while a dream to me - if you are traveling with a group, you're unlikely to find food everyone will eat. This place serves a role and fills it well. If you're seeing the sights in Paris and need a reliable, hearty meal with plenty of menu items to choose from and need a drink to wash it down, you could certainly do much worse.

Walked in on a Saturday night at 9:30 (there was NO ONE else in the restaurant so we thought it was closed!) and the waiter working just looked at us and groaned (audible!!!). I was a little taken aback because they close at 11. We said we would sit outside and he brought us the menu. He then hovered behind our table as we spoke. we stated we would just be each having an order of the appetizer fries as were short on time and he straight up said "UM NO." and shook his head and asked us to leave. There's a reason this place was empty. So rude. I guess he only wanted us there if we were getting a burger? There are way better burger places around. Don't bother going here. Also--this place should not be considered fast food. You have to sit to eat here and can't order to go. Worst experience thus far in Paris.
