Good food and good service. We enjoyed the spam masubi, kastu chicken, bbq chicken, plenty of macaroni salad and rice.

Hands down the cleanest L&L we have ever been to! A little taste of Hawaii right in the middle of Boulder.

This place is mediocre if ur actually eating there, just go for the dole whip…read more I rarely ever get their poke but today I was craving it. Tell me why they don't have edamame, crispy tempura, crispy onions, like without crispy things u might as well order some mash potato slop because it's gonna be squishy as hell. Also the way they cut their cucumbers don't expect small crispy bites it's soggy too. Their sauces are bomb I respect the sauce but dam they are never fully stocked it's a shame. Every time I try to order food from here they're missing ingredients last time it was literal salmon I legit had to tell my man to walk out of the store I was so frustrated and am very hangry now lol idk where to get good poke someone please help me!!!! PS went to Rocky fin it was also TERRIBLE the public needs to know the truth about these places and the quality and consistency of ingredients. I understand supply chain issues but not having edamame for a poke bowl restaurant is insane go to a grocery store at least for ur product, my managers would go to Whole Foods when we ran out of product and did mark outs maybe u should try that

Not pictured, we also ordered the duck soba noodles and the scallops. Everything tasted delicious. I do wish that I had saved some of the soba for when the hamachi came out but I did order those later. I would have preferred the hamachi to come with a bit of rice on the side but my boyfriend didn't mind the salad. It's a great date spot and if we were to sit inside there's options for Japanese style floor seating. When you go inside they ask you to take off your shoes and provide slippers for the restroom. It feels very relaxing and home-y.

Izakaya's are Japanese bars that have quick bites and snacks to choose from. I was excited to see we were heading in. Once arrived on Sunday night we were greeted and welcomed. Asked if we would like to take our shoes off and walk in as in Japanese culture this is very common. It really felt like I was in a Japanese izakaya in Japan We ordered - Tofu Steak - Baked Salmon w/ ikura & rice - Duck Skewers - Salmon Carpaccio Everything was delicious and cooked well. I could have ate 2 bowls of the salmon. Everything is nicely sized but a good size to not get too full to order more. This location is combined with another sushi restaurant and it's cool to see the sushi being made in front of you. Will be back!!

If you're lucky enough to go in May you'll experience Mai Tai. Every couple of days in May a different Mai Tai is created by a staff member. The one I had last night was one of the best drinks I've ever tasted. It's only until tonight and then returns on Wednesday and then it's gone. I'm hoping they put it on the regular menu. Davíd's Plantano Mai Tai is inspired by his Dominican roots. So good! If you get a stamp for every Mai Tai you get a prize. The prize really is the ability to try so many different kind of Mai Thais! The restaurant also has a nice outdoor patio, but we like dining and drinking inside because of the cool decor. There's even a bar that looks like a ship! We love Swaylo's!

Ambiance - I like their decor a lot. It was quiet when we went. The employees were very nice, and the food came out quickly. I would return to try other things.

When you first walk in, there are two kiosks where you can place your order and you may walk up to the cash register and order with a live person. We chose to order at the register and the employee was very friendly and explained the whole Motomaki process, which we appreciated. The process on how-it-works is located on the wall, but we both prefer in-person customer service. We ordered three rolls and one fountain drink for a total of $57 with tax.... I thought that was high for what we got. The service was fast and the ingredients were fresh. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side. My husband didn't care for the rolls because he said the seaweed was too fishy and he described them as "seaweed burritos". The rolls fell apart after we took off the aluminum foil. Also, just an FYI: three rolls were too many and we both would have been fine with one each but now we know for next time. Overall, I thought the food tasted good, the service was great, the price was high, and we would opt for bowls next time.

I appreciate the options for greens, white rice, brown rice, or a combo for the base. I loved the crispy eggplant, especially dipped in the jalapeño aioli. The salmon poke was cut and flavored well. The toppings tasted fresh and added a great texture to the bowl. I loved the addition of asparagus, which I don't often see in poke bowls. The happy hour $3 off from 2-5 p.m. is a great deal and brought my filling bowl down to $15.75. My order wasn't accurate -- I had to go up to the counter to ask for missing items that I had paid to add (edamame and a side of jalapeño aioli), but I was given them without a fuss. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area.
