They bid a small job of another type, took a deposit, then doubled the deposit, both of which we paid. They ordered materials. Then we were forgotten. Projects they've done for me include: Repairing rather than replacing rotting windows, (saving me thousands of dollars), fixing drainage issues on a balcony and re-tiling it, (which had been done previously by another outfit without success), Fixing all the wood rot caused by the aforementioned balcony drainage issues, installing beautiful wood floors and painting the rooms (and repainting someone else's botched paint job), fixing difficult doors, exterior stucco painting, and many many other small jobs I added to their punch list. Prior to All-American's work, the groundwater leaking into our basement was being - probably since the house was built in 1935 - discharged into the wastewater sewer - which is illegal. Now the groundwater leaking into my basement is pumped under my front yard and discharged into a weep hole cut through the curb, where it flows into the street to be captured by the storm water sewer - which is exactly what the law requires. Lastly, their pricing for the same job is considerably less than the competition. Give them a call and hire them, trust me.

Found the product I wanted and contractor dealt with ordering and arranging date for installation. Two men came out with large pieces of cultured marble and measured and cut on site. Person responsible for doing the cutting set up saw horses in the street in front of my driveway close by to where I had 2 RV vehicles parked and did all the cutting out there with his circular saw, which took quite some time and what a mess he made in the street and the abrasive grinding dust flying all over my vehicles, made it look like it had snowed on them; cultured marble grinding dust everywhere. Also, there was nothing laid down to protect carpeting from this marble dust, as they came in and out many, many times from the street. When they were all done and getting ready to leave without a word or any conversation, I approached them and asked if all this debris would be cleaned up and was told 'if you have water and a hose, we can wash it down' - which I supplied; they got it out from in front of my house, pretty much but made a muddied mess of white cultured marble dust / grindings in the gutters in front of 3 of my neighbors driveways and they left. My husband wound up washing and brooming it down in front of the neighbors, which took quite some time on a hot day, to remove from in front of their properties of which the neighbors were not too pleased. At this time, (other than the above install review), we are pleased with the finished product of this install.

First they crazy-overcharged for a tiny deck that needed a decent waterproofing seal. They said only his most expensive product would do the job. Then they left it half done and very sloppy. I was asked to remove that negative review when they came out to "fix it". Well they did NOT fix it. And once the rains started we accrued significant damage and cost to both the outside and the inside of our home including mold damage and total inside ceiling needing repair now (Pix included). The owner told us yesterday in person that they would fix it. Now today he writes saying that he won't. Sadly this is just really bad business and very costly mistakes on their part that is left for us to pick up their improper work. I warn anyone to look around for other options and businesses before moving ahead with Rougue Valley Roofing. They do not stand behind their work and they do not behave professionally. What a mess. Sorry to have to write a bad review but this one they very much earned. Ugg.
