When I started calling around for florists, I asked several shops about my $2000 budget (which was really more than I wanted to pay in the first place) and was met with stunned silence or stammering. One florist I had heard was reasonable said most of her bride's floral budgets start--START!--at $3000. Are you kidding me? I got everything I wanted from Kathie for under $1500. And I can assure you that with her, budget-friendly does NOT mean outdated or miniscule. Kathie has a very modern eye and is so honest, genuine, and fun. She can even coordinate your wedding too I think. The best part for me was that I trusted Kathie so completely that I was able to let my control freak tendencies go in that department--I just told her what I envisioned and let her take it from there. It was December just before the holidays and I asked for a fresh cut, festive arrangement delivered that day. The picture I'm attaching is that of the vase sitting on my friend's doorstep. Even though it was left outside, I wasn't worried about the arrangement dying prematurely since the local temperature on that day was above freezing (44 degrees). My only complaint is I had asked for the florist to text me a picture of my order before it went out for delivery. She agreed (albeit a bit reluctantly), but then never did. That's why this review isn't five stars. I like it when businesses follow through on all their commitments. I order flowers quite frequently for my out-of-town friends. Every florist gladly agrees to send me a quick photo of my arrangement before delivery, so I know I wasn't asking too much of Darling Flowers. The flowers look very pretty (that matters!), but I have no concept of height or fullness because the photo was taken with the vase outside on the ground.

She was very responsive (I was planning my Memphis wedding from Chicago) and organized. I received my invoices within 48 hours over e-mail and was able to pay off my balance online. Because I had s small budget, Holly adjusted my table arrangements to simple gladiolas and greenery, and my bouquet was classic red roses and curly willow. Everything was very simple and classic and looked gorgeous. (I have seem pictures of her other arrangements, and she is also skilled at must more artistic and contemporary floral designs.) Holly was also able to accommodate an additional request of an Indian-style wedding garland. Once I communicated my flower needs, Holly sent pictures, and set up a mock display of the arrangements in her floral studio in Midtown. She charges an additional fee for setup and take down of the flowers, but it is reasonably priced and I was glad to have her in charge of setup. (In retrospect, I would have paid the additional fee to have her take down and handle the flowers instead of my family members.) After a great conversation and discussion of Valentines for Mom and Mom in law I settled on The Kyndall (deluxe) and A Mothers Love (deluxe). I scheduled pick up for Tuesday. I was greeted promptly even though there were a few people in store and I was acknowledged as the two people in front of me were taken care of. I met the real Kyndall that the flowers were named and after the care instructions were explained she helped me to my car. The care taken from order to assembly to final sale was very evident. The arrangements are lush, well balanced and thoughtfully arranged. I look forward to using my new florist.

The bouquet sent did not have same vase, did not have the gold ribbon shown (not any ribbon on bouquet), did not have the gold filigree throughout bouquet as shown in pic and did not have the gold oranament balls shown in picture. In essence, I did not receive what I paid more for and it was disappointing to say the least when the bouquet in all cost me $100. I called Butterflies Florist of Hernando, MS back and they did not answer the phone nor return my phone call. I certainly would not recommend this florist.

We were driving to the area for a precious family member's funeral, and none of the National delivery services had met my needs-either no next-day morning delivery or no appropriate arrangements available or both! I came to yelp and chose Kyle Griffith Designs. Kyle and I texted back and forth for a few hours. He had given me a quick assurance that he would certainly get flowers to the church on time, but he went so much further! He showed me the beautiful flowers he had on hand that met my request, and they weren't adequate--they were spectacular! He created a design that could easily have graced the cover of a Southern Home Fashion magazine. An arrangement that our loved one would have celebrated.
