It seems like they only take bookings via phone so you can ask your hotel to help! Anyway, we swung by for lunch and they told us they were fully booked. We asked if we could sit outdoors (it was set up but it had rained in the morning) and they said sure! Food wise, we shared an app, 2 mains and a dessert. The appetizers was Courgette flowers (Zucchini Blossoms) with ricotta cheese inside; there was this acidic mouse in the middle - a very refreshing and delightful dish! I don't see courgette much in the US so I'm glad I tried it. For the mains, we had the local trout and the braised pork cheeks with polenta. The trout was fresh, and paired nicely with a variety of different veggies. The stew was very warm and hearty and also not too salty. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu which was tasty but nothing to write home about. The waitress that served us was very friendly as well! Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend trying it on your trip to Nice :)

Walked in and there were many locals eating there. The menu is on a hand-written chalk board and daily specials written on chalk board cards. After drooling over the menu, we selected to start with the truffles risotto, then baked cod and duck. Since we were sharing the risotto, the chef decided to plate our portions separately. It was a huge portion and topped with lots of truffles. The cod cold use some salt, but it was cooked perfectly. It was moist on the inside. The duck was a perfect medium and the outside was completely crusted and crispy. The reduction sauce was amazing. Wish I have more room, so I can use the bread to sop up the sauce. It was that amazing. Because it was on a side street, the prices was definitely more reasonable. Just wish I knew about this place earlier in our trip.

Located on a quiet side street, the outside dining is our favorite. Properly cared for, you are provided a blanket if it's chilly. Service is excellent, not hurried even though they are busy. (Reservations are a must!) And the meal! A chalkboard menu listing their selections for the evening will tempt you with choices of risotto St. Jacque with fresh asparagus. Or perhaps you'd prefer a veal cutlet or lobster fettuccini. Dessert of lemon soufflé...and a second glass of wine with which to linger is the perfect end to the evening. This family run business knows how to create a memory, making time spent here a treasure. We hope to return again, yet not waiting ten years to do so.

The lobster itself was great, but the flavors in the dish were not my favorite. My bf thought they grew on him as he ate. The service was top notch and incredibly attentive. Overall, I think the dishes were well curated but may have not been our favorite palette.

We were lucky and got a table on a whim later Sunday evening. After being seated on the patio at high top table, we actually gasped seeing the view. It's UNREAL. For the entire dinner, it's almost distracting to just keep staring out at the mountains, water and yachts looming down below. Gorgeous. The service matches the hotels 5-star expectations. Super attentive, quick, and friendly. We had drinks to celebrate a proposal and they also brought out some on the house champagne. For dinner, we actually split the blue lobster pasta. It was more than plenty for 2 people. Absolutely delicious. They bring the lobster and pasta out to mix together in front of you and ugh I am still thinking about that dish to this day. Its a hike to get up to this point. Once you reach the gated area, no cars can reach the top. Well worth the challenge to get up and it's such a unique experience.
