Although I don't support fake tanning, I came here for a couple of months so I wouldn't get burnt to a crisp when I went to Las Vegas. Unlike the LA Tan on Colonel Glenn this location has lay down as well as stand up beds. The bed are all pretty nice and clean as far as I can tell. I don't usually have to wait either, but I only use the level 1, I think for the level 2 there is sometimes a wait. The staff isn't very friendly though, and some of them are just downright weird. And one time I went in there and someone was in the bed I was supposed to be using and they completely freaked out about it. The whole contract, sign-up and even their credit card machine is archaic. Apparently you have to go in person to cancel your contract as well. read more

BUYER BEWARE - Absolutely the worst tanning experience my husband and I have had. The facilities and beds are severely out-dated (the level 5 bed I was in had burnt out bulbs and sounded like a jet). Definitely not a relaxing experience. Additionally, I usually have some color on my skin within a few hours after tanning, but no color was achieved with this session. My husband and I purchased the one month unlimited tan all access pass before our first tanning session. Since we both were very disappointing with the facilities and the lack of tan, we contacted LA Tan within 24 hours for a partial refund. We wanted to only be charged for the single session rather than a full month. To put this in perspective, a single session is $25 + tax while the full month unlimited was $116.75 (including tax). We were seeking a refund for the difference ($90.06 each). It has been 10 days of speaking with LA Tan. They refused to give us our money back and say it is their policy to not give any refunds at all. They mentioned they have some more updated facilities nearby, but the closest one is 25 minutes away which is not convenient for an unlimited monthly tanning pass. At this point, we are going through our credit card companies to try to get a refund. Do yourself a favor and go to more updated facilities or try a different company altogether. read more

I have skin cancer, from many happy times laying in the sun in my youth. So for years I have went to many different spray tanning salons. I had never been to a LA Tan Salon before. My first session at LA Tan I turned orange, and I thought this has NEVER happened before, probably just a fluke, tried it again, again I turned orange. I don't know why, maybe like some people with jewelry their skin will turn green.... I don't know, I just want refunded for my remaining 4 sessions. read more

I go in and wait 10 min because the guy behind the counter is talking to his friend second he was the MOST RUDE man I have met and made you feel like you were bothering him and causing him a problem just because u wanted to tan!!! Very rude and the beds were dirty and I had a discount for a free tan and he still charged me .. Once again the man with the earring. At the front counter was horribly rude and I will never go there again .. Poor service read more

If i could give negative stars I would. My experience was terrible. I thought I would give it another try and thought that it couldn't get much worse but my second visit took the cake! Visit #1: The guy at the front=RUDE. I walked in with a friend to tan and it was 15 degrees outside. There was a wait for the beds so we sat on the couch in the lobby. The guy had the door open and we were freezing so I got up to close the door. He came back out and said "Did you close this door?" I said "Yes, we are freezing while we are waiting." He said in a very rude tone "no no no no no its hot in here leave the door open." I said "but it is really cold right here sitting by an open door." I swear if i hadn't of waited 15 minutes already I would have left. Finally it was my turn to go in the bed. The guy told me that I shouldnt go in the full amount of time because because the beds are really hot. So i went in 5 min less than usual. The entire time I was freeeeeezing. My bed didnt get warm and the facial bulbs on one side of the level 3 bed were broken. I couldnt wait to put my clothes on and get the hell out of there. Visit #2: I had a few tan dollars left and wanted to use them up so I went the following day. This time there was a girl at the front desk. I waited 20 minutes because the guy in front of me was buying tanning credits and couldnt decide what to buy. But the girl not once said she would be with me soon she ignored me like i was invisible. I was 2nd in line and suddenly a rush of people behind me...at least 7 or 9 in line. I told her what bed I wanted to go in and she said okay but someone just went in and I would have to wait 9 minutes. Fine (already been here over 30 minutes whats a few more). Well I wait and wait and finally ask after about 15 minutes when the bed will be ready. She told me that she forgot to clean the bed and she would after she checks in the rest of the line!!!!!!!!!! Are you joking! On top of that when she was at the counter she was eating a grilled cheese and when she took my credit card to pay for my tans she she got grease all over my card. It was so gross and unprofessional. She told me my lotion that I bought 6 months ago was old and wouldnt tan my melanoma.....(FACE PALM). I said melanoma is skin cancer I think you mean Melanin. She shrugged it off. Then proceeds to tell me that because my lotion is old that it wont penetrate to the 4th layer of skin and the new lotions so. NEWS FLASH #2 there are only 3 layers of skin and lotion does not penetrate that deep. Anyways now I have been there easily 40 minutes. Still havent tanned yet. Finally my bed is ready. I walk back undress and low and behold the bed wont turn on. So i get all dressed and go out to the desk. The man from the night before was now there and said to me "did you press the button?" (like I was stupid). I said yes I pressed it 10+ times and the bed wont turn on. He asked if I pressed it hard enough. I said yeah I even held it in for a min. So he walks back like I just ruined his entire life and presses the button sooooo hard it sounded liked it crack and said " there" and walked out. I was so irritated when I left I emailed their corporate office because no one answered when I called. Still have not gotten a response. Visit #3 I vowed to never go back to that one again so i tried the one on AirWay drive even though its a bit far from my home. The girl at the front was very kind and helpful. Totally different from the people that work at the Fairborn one! BUT...yes there is a but! Sorry! I got undressed and started my bed and the facial bulbs wouldnt turn on!!!!!!!!!! She kindly said sorry and put my in another bed. All in all I just think its an awful place to tan for the price! Being a former manager of a tanning chain in CA and nurse I was shocked by what I saw and heard! It is scary that they are telling customers the wrong information about tanning as well as eating at the front desk and being rude to customers. FINDING A NEw place to TAN ASAP! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! read more
