It brings me nothing but joy to share my extraordinary experience working with Ebon'Nae as my birth…read moredoula. I was initially introduced to her through a friend, but I strongly believe God also aligned us in perfect harmony. We began our journey with a great consultation. Then, there were home visits where Ebon'Nae thoroughly explained the birthing process to my husband and me -- patiently answering any and all questions we had. She also took time to come to an important midwife appointment with me where we discussed my desired birth plan. Throughout my experience, Ebon'Nae offered everything from tools and advice to prayers which really helped me to move through my pregnancy with a sense of ease leading up to the birth. For the actual birth, she was right there by my side physically and mentally coaching me through every moment while going the extra mile to visually capture some of the best moments as well. With this being my first pregnancy, as one would imagine, there were a lot of unknowns to explore, and having such a knowledgeable and supportive doula like Ebon'Nae, I felt seen and safe. While she always kept things very professional, she also felt like family -- and I feel so blessed to have gained the opportunity to work with her. She's truly called to do this work, and words alone can't describe her amazing service. If you're looking for an amazing doula or to train to become one, I send my highest praises and recommendation to "glow" with Ebon'Nae.

Even advocating for me when I had the unfortunate experience of having to go to the hospital to check on baby, and Dr wanted to go through C-Section. With her help I was able to fulfill my hopes of having a VBAC naturally and gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy!

As first time parents with shared conviction that the "Business of Having Babies @ Hospitals" is…read moresimply not for us, we began our search for alternatives. This journey involved learning all about birthing centers, different types of midwives, different requirements/restrictions with each scenario, etc etc. We visited various birthing centers in Dallas and the surrounding areas but ultimately, and to our great satisfaction and appreciation... we were connected to Sweet Pea Midwifery and Olivia Delavega. We felt a huge sense of relief, because for my wife and I, having our baby in the comfort, energy, ambiance and convenience of our home checked all the boxes... Olivia, her team and her network were wonderful. Our experience with Olivia, Tabby and Iana (our Doula; within Olivia/Tabby's Network) was incredible. Well organized, cohesive, logical pregnancy plan coupled with a very informative and great emotional support structure from Iana. At no time did we feel pressured to do anything. Free will and free choice should be pervasive throughout our lives, but more and more it feels like some of those freedoms are slipping away. That wasn't the case with Sweet Pea Midwifery. We chose to have a 100% natural, zero pain intervention birth at home. Old School style... like they did for 1000's of years. At each step and with each choice we discussed the pros, the cons, the risks of each with Olivia and Tabby, asking countless questions, and in the end we chose the path that made the most sense for us and felt fully supported by the whole team. If we have another child, we will absolutely return to Sweet Pea Midwifery. I just can't say enough good things... this review would go on and on. Thank you so much Olivia!!!

Although my birth was incredibly fast, Olivia was such a help to me. Not necessarily because of what she did, but how she encouraged me and empowered me to birth my baby. I have had 3 babies previously (with different providers in a different state) and not once did I feel confident taking the reins during the actual pushing. I always waited for other providers to tell me it was okay to start pushing, but with Olivia, I was confident and comfortable enough to let me body do the work and rest in that. Even when she gave me advice, they were more helpful suggestions than commands that I felt in previous births. I so appreciated her aid and reassuring presence. Postpartum care was also phenomenal and our whole family felt very loved and cared for. Olivia and Tabby have become friends and if we were to have any more babies, I would love to be in their care again. Thank you, Sweet Pea Midwifery, for such a beautiful experience that I will treasure forever.

I am so pleased to have Dr Clifford as my pediatrician. I have 3 children aged 18, and 11 year-old…read moretwins. We started going to her practice on Park Lane years ago, and started out with a Dr who was working there. When that Dr left the practice, we started seeing Dr Clifford. It was a refreshing change in what a well visit or sick visit really looked like. Dr Clifford is always friendly and energetic, even when are the last appointment of the day. She asks a lot of questions, and allows additional questions. I have never left the office feeling that I should have asked her this or that - while I was in the visit with her. My son turned 18 this month, and I am sad they he will start seeing a PCP soon - it's difficult to find a pediatrician or general practice physician who is caring and thorough and follows up when they say they will !! Dr Clifford is all of these things !! I have been going to her for the last 11-12 years and I wouldn't change a thing !! Everyone in the office is genuinely cordial and welcoming - even if I am coming in with a sick child !! Dr Clifford has a range of information at her disposal that she shares with us, and I feel better knowing that she will research a topic that is new or important to our child's situation/ illness. I like that she has a history of my children and their shot records etc. I have referred her services to many new families moving into the area. I feel that she is one of the best, caring pediatricians in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex.

During COVID19, my middle child came down with a fever. She had her office staff set up and appointment where her nurse came downstairs from the 4th floor to the 1st and outside to the car to get the throat culture. That in my book is a heck of a service of above and beyond! Dr. Clifford is extremely focused and listens intently when presented with a sick kid. She asks lots of questions, completes her exam and decides on a course of action. She has been correct every time. Dr. Clifford takes her time during the examinations to ensure she has covered everything, and you never feel rushed. She also asks at the end of the exam if she has covered all issues. Dr. Clifford has truly gone the extra mile on more than one occasion when my kids needed referrals to specialists. It is an absolute pleasure dealing with her and her office staff.
