So we were in this mall and came upon this chocolate store. It is a small place and I have never been here or heard of the brand. It was supposed to be really good so I decided to try some of their chocolates. We got a sampling of some of their chocolates. I forget how much per pound but it was a lot. I think we ended up with 8 pieces. We took them home and didn't eat them right away. When I did taste the chocolate it blew my mind. Each one was a different flavor but so smooth and loved everyone of them so unique. I will have to get them again when I can. Really different and memorable taste. Loved them

This is my go to nice chocolate shop. I've come for birthday gifts, Valentine's Day gifts, and just because gifts. I actually first discovered this from my brother in law while we were in Switzerland for family vacation. I love the free samples I get right when I walk in. I usually get the a la carte options by the cash register where you pick which chocolate bark flavor you want and what weight. Pro tip, you can just tell them a dollar amount. Today I ordered $15 of the milk chocolate hazelnut, my overall favorite. They can gift wrap the chocolate if you like. I did this for Valentine's Day and they gave me a special red bag and gift wrap. My wife loved it. Very good service. I love conversing with the attendant helping me and trying the different flavors. It's like a chocolate omakase tasting to create the perfect gift/treat for yourself, family, and friends. I will of course be back!

I am in LOVE with Läderach! This Swiss chocolate is so creamy and delicious...it is the real deal. I love the bars they have in the window, that you can purchase by weight. They have samples too! I also really enjoy the mousse chocolates too. They look like truffles, but have a deliciously creamy mousse inside. Plus, they are so cute and photo-worthy. The store is sleek and the displays look clean and inviting. You cannot come into this location empty handed. Lastly, the staff are all very kind and helpful.

The staff was so nice, welcoming and friendly. Their jovial and happy spirits were felt immediately upon entering. I was offered samples of various chocolates they sell. I came in for the Dubai chocolate they sell and after sampling ordered about $45 worth. It was so crispy and chocolaty with perfect portion of pistachio filling. I walked away spending just at $100 for a huge piece of Dubai chocolate and 9 other pieces of chocolates. My loved ones greatly enjoyed the selection, commenting on the smoothness, rich taste, and texture of each piece. Quality chocolates come with a price tag that's above a Mars bar. You won't be disappointed in the quality or taste from this shop. Major props to Alejandra and Aaron for their standout service and helpfulness. They were a true delight to encounter.

Very excited for this opening. This is located at the Macy's side of UTC. Lots of options to choose from. We ordered the dubai chocolate but any of the items that are not packaged are $60 a lb. We ordered 1/4 of a lb. Just to try it. It was very good.

We stopped here while shopping in Fashion Valley Mall. The customer service that we experienced was great. They have so many options to choose from to enjoy your Swiss Chocolate, you will be amazed. We chose from the 'bulk by the pound' special batches of chocolate creations: popcorn chocolate, the chocolate hazelnut bars, praline chocolate, apricot chocolate, and then a few of the hazelnut chocolate truffle pieces, and a couple more options. Our server was very kind and he gave us 2 samples to take with us; 2 truffles. Says that he was the store manager. We really enjoyed everything that we purchased and it survived our home for about 1 week. Now, it is time to go back for more indulgence. This place is delicious.

I'm starting to browse their chocolates when a lady approached me and gracefully offered me a sample. I accepted the sample with appreciation. I asked one of their sales associate if what kind of chocolate were inside the beautiful tin can; and, he showed me the different kinds of chocolates that were intricately crafted. I bought the chocolates in a beautiful tin can. The staff were polite and helpful. I savor the delicious samples that the lady offered me. I recommend this store with a five

Fancy chocolates perfect as gifts! And so so yummy...one bite and you taste freshly made chocolate. I received this as a gift once and was so interested to get one for myself as well. The store looked so luxurious, and I loved the way the fresh chocolate slabs are displayed. They sell by the ounce (I forgot how much it was per ounce, but one slab the size of my palm was $13), and every bite was worth it. The packaging is very elegant, so we got some slabs and truffle boxes for my daughter and her mother-in-law.

So glad there is an official storefront of this chocolate store in San Diego! I used to buy them online, but now I can go to Fashion Valley and not have to wait for delivery! They also give you samples before you buy- just ask! My favorites are the dark chocolate barks with the variety of nuts! The chocolate is rich, creamy, and so fresh! They also make great gifts, in case you want to buy me some chocolate LOL!

Seriously the best chocolate in the world! Even if you're not a fan of the cocoa bean (which is about 1% of all people) you will crave these truffles. I actually know 2 people who don't really like chocolate, and both of them look forward to the next box purchase. Now they ain't cheap, but otally worth it though.

Smooth, rich, and just the right size when you want something sweet without going overboard. I also had a dark chocolate truffle and that one was just as good. You can really taste the quality. Customer service was a highlight. The guy helping me was super personable, gave great suggestions for drinks, and was genuinely kind, which always makes the experience better. I sampled chocolate from Peru, Madagascar, and Kenya, and they all had unique fruity characteristics. Because they're vegan, so they use oat milk for their chocolate instead of dairy. Overall, this was a fun place to check out at Little Italy, and they also had a stall at the Farmer's Market.

For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

Also just so everyone is aware they're also liars just to mention & stupid.. she tells us her name is Karen thinking we don't know the owners name lol .. She was at the register at 7:20pm and was extremely rude and dismissive after we placed our order, especially regarding a child's dietary restrictions and health concerns. We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently. This place has been going downhill , management for this place needs to step up .

What stood out the most was the kindness we received even as hey were closing, and our transaction was complete and paid in full. Manny still offered us cups of ice water and extra napkins without hesitation. That small gesture really added to the experience and made us feel welcomed instead of rushed out. He got a well deserved tip for that California love he gave us. I'd definitely return here whenever I'm back in San Diego.
