A friend recommended Dr. Yurie to me, and I'm really grateful they did. From our very first session, I felt comfortable with her. She created an environment where I felt safe, understood, and listened to. I always felt that my boundaries were respected. That made it easier for me to open up and trust the process. One thing I really appreciated about Dr. Yurie was how attentive and present she was during each session. She remembered details from conversations we had a long time ago, in fact, sometimes things I had forgotten myself. It made me feel like she really cared, and that what I shared mattered. She also helped me look at situations from perspectives I had didn't think of before. Her insights gave me ways of thinking that I know I'll continue to carry with me long after our time together. Some of the things she shared and helped me realize have stayed with me and continue to help me in my daily life. Unfortunately, I no longer have sessions with her, and ending therapy with her was honestly difficult and emotional for me :') I'm very thankful for the support and guidance she gave me during the time we worked together. She had made such a positive impact on my life. If you're looking for a therapist and considering reaching out to someone, I strongly recommend giving Dr. Yurie a try. I was resistant for a while but I finally agreed to schedule an intake appointment with Dr. Yurie and that was one of the best decisions I could have made at the time. During our initial sessions, I was pretty closed off as I felt I still didn't need therapy. However, Dr. Yurie reassured me that I was in a safe environment and we'd always go at my pace. She never pressured me to dive into things I wasn't ready for and I really appreciated that. Eventually, I was sharing things with Dr. Yurie that I didn't share with even my closest of friends. Dr. Yurie has to be one of the best listeners I have ever come across. She didn't cut me off or redirect the conversation to herself; she truly provided a listening ear and offered unique perspectives that I never thought of. The advice she shared helped to elevate the confidence within myself and the decisions that I made. I finally feel like I can start focusing on my own happiness rather than fixating on other people's happiness all the time. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Yurie. She's a fantastic therapist and a phenomenal person. Going…read moreto an in patient rehab that promises hours and hours of rehabilitation per day is spooky on paper, but RHOP is incredible and, as a matter of fact, they seem to have their heads screwed on better than some of the people at Queens. . .but that's for another review. . . RHOP was actually a great time, everyone you encounter is nice, the exercises are hard, but they have to be and I had a really good group of people with me too, like Ms. Helen who is 101 years old and her roommate Ms. Susie who used to DOOR DASH COFFEE to her room every morning, hahahaha. RHOP taught me everything I needed to know to survive at home during my long recovery period between a wheelchair and a walker and I use what they taught me daily. I am 100% sure I would not be as mobile as I am now this soon after surgery if I hadn't gone to them, in fact, some of what I was shown or learned there are integral to moving around. The only mark I have against them, the only warning. If you get to the point where you can venture out of your room and roll around the facility do not leave anything on your bed. On my first day out of my room I got a collared shirt from the gift shop which was then taken by the linen service provider by accident a few days later and I never saw it again. I was told this has also happened with cellphones. They will take the chance to do up your bed when you are not in it so make sure all of your stuff is put away, because whoever does the laundry just bags and tags everything wholesale. I hope I never have to go back here, but if I do it's going to be a good time.

The staff are friendly and remember you when you come in for treatments, especially your first anxious appointment. They let you know what they're doing and check to see if you're comfortable before starting the treatment. I was pleasantly surprised to see my mapping improve slightly on each treatment. Dr. Imanaka is the psychiatrist who goes over the mapping results. He's very personable which makes it easy to ask questions and he even shared information to help my husband who is not a patient there. I give them 5 stars !

I still had very little mobility, 3 months post L5-S1 TLIF Surgery on 12.11.25. I was injured in the Army in 2001. Anyhow, not knowing what to expect... Everyone that I had the honor of rehabilitating with, took EXCELLENT care of me!!! It was a very humbling and personable experience. I thought that being injured for so long, I would never regain function or feeling in my right foot and toes that had been numb for over 2 years. I've had nerve damage for over 24 years. Even, after surgery, the numbness was still there. However, during the 12th session in the Aqua Tank, I felt pain on the outside of my right foot and middle toe for the FIRST TIME IN 2 YEARS. So, the nerves are "waking up"?? Unfortunately, the pain was temporary and the numbness came back right away. But, "Hey, it's a Good Sign, right?" -- BIG "Shout Out" and "Mahalo nui loa" to Dr. Callie Rucker for your positive encouragement and for letting me know that it's OK to not be so GungHo when it comes to taking it slow and allowing myself to heal properly. -- Btw, looking forward to seeing all of you again on May 18th for 15 more Sessions. Been in and out of here two times and am currently here 9_/12/26. Both times so far they have screwed up my pain medication where I have suffered at a pain level of 9 almost 10 for over periods of 3 hrs or more. That's totally unacceptable and all nursing could say is "oh we're sorry " which to me is total bullshit. Medications are always a #1 priority, especially pain medication. The total inconsistencies of the quality of care is what makes me not recommend this place for quality skilled nursing facility. They need to improve on all levels of their business, for me to recommend them at all.

A person who had a stoke doesn't need "any ole" therapist. That patient needs a STOKE THEARAPIST. DOUG IS THE ONE! Taylor, thank you! 1. He tells me to some things that can do at this time. He tells me what I cannot do at this time. He tells me if I'll EVER be able to do some things and approximately when I can to it if I try. 2. He reminds me that I didn't cause it and what I can do to get over it if I want to. 3. He tells me common sense things so I can understand. Physical therapists should do there referals because it helps everyone. No one asked me to write is note.

They are very organized, flexible, customer service oriented, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable with the in and outs of care both online and in-person. Highly highly recommend them, especially for the military/VA patients that use community care. Their access to care is probably the best on island. The communication from booking appointments to handling insurance and referrals has been nothing but AMAZING.

In the first Zoom meeting, I kept telling her about what's going on with my family and how important it is and she said she can't help me regarding my child, but she can help me with just me. I kept telling her that something was going on with my child that made me feel a certain way so that I needed to talk about that. She kept saying that she cannot help my child and I understood that. Anyways, I told her that if she specializes in human trafficking and she's a Christian because that's the two things that I was shocked to see someone had a specialty in and that is what I needed help in. I believed this was set up and a blessing from above, from God himself because how easy is it to find Christian-based therapy with specific things you're going through? She just seemed very dismissive and she seemed like she didn't wanna see me and I just told her that I feel like this is a very important matter to me that I need to speak about it and then we eventually came to a mutual understanding about what I needed in therapy. In the second session, she said that I cannot see her anymore because I need to take medicine and I already have a therapist. I told her I don't have a therapist. Their office and the hospital just said that I have one, but that I don't. I'm not seeing one right now. I was seeing one from before but I am not seeing anyone but her. She said if I don't do the medicine (which the hospital didn't require) then they can't see me. I said fine I don't think we can do this then. So we mutually agreed to end services with one another. Then I decided to go to Linda. So I made an appointment with her. The day I got a phone call, I didn't respond because I was busy. They left me an email saying my appointment was canceled the day of and they sent me an email discharging me. I called the office and the girl said the manager said I am not a good fit so they will not be seeing me anymore. I asked to speak to the supervisor to get this right. She was listening to everything that I said I said I was gonna write a Yelp review. I said that I did the survey just so that they would have feedback to know what went on with me. To know that I wasn't satisfied, wasn't helped, didn't feel hurt, just got out of the hospital, I don't have a therapist now and now I have to look for one, and they just didn't help the way that I needed them to. They kicked me out two times. So I confirmed with the manager about her saying I am not a good fit and they won't be seeing me anymore. So I got an email that they discharged me and I just told them I don't trust them or feel comfortable doing any work with them or any services with them anymore. And it's there. I would not recommend anyone who just got out of the hospital who's kind of vulnerable and is trusting people to help them to just go here and expect them to actually help, as they treated me like easy throw away patient, with no compassion.
