Cute and clean little shop. The workers were very kind and professional. I got a small dessert cone. It was good. The "cake" part was a bit tough to tear into so it made my experience a bit annoying. I'm not sure if they're just like that or mine was old or overcooked or something

Cone thingy with apples, cinnamon sugar, caramel and whipped cream!

One of these thingys with cinnamon sugar, apples, caramel and whipped cream. I wore half of it because it's apparently my first day eating ‍ HOWEVER, it was worth it! So delicious. But honestly, leaving this review for the woman that helped me! She was so kind and answered all my questions, which not all of them had to do with this scrumptious snack. The vibe is great, they have comfy couches and it's right on main st which has a few places to check out. 10/10 for the delicious cone thingy 100/10 for the service!

Mini chimney cakes with cinnamon and sugar and whipped cream

February 1, 2026 - Brand new specialty shop that sells both savory and sweet chimney cakes. You choose your filling and/or topping based on a wide variety of offerings. I tried the mini chimney cakes with cinnamon brown sugar and whipped cream topping. I've learned that chimney cakes are considered touristy treats especially in Prague (Czech Republic). With that, it's hard to describe an American equivalent. They are not too savory and not too sweet, sort of like a freshly made waffle ice cream cone, but soft and warm and fluffy. It's no coincidence that ice cream is offered as one of the fillings. Located on Main St in Lafayette Indiana, directly across from Bistro 501, I think this is a cute place for dessert after brunch at the bistro. Having said that, you can also get meal style chimney cakes. The person in front of me got a pizza chimney cake and it looked amazing. Word of warning - if it's busy upon arrival you may have a bit of a wait for your cake. They have a few popular choices pre-made but most are made fresh (right at the counter!) and it takes awhile. Mine took 30 minutes. But it was fun watching the process so time flew by. Support your locally owned businesses and give this place a try!

But then mine eyes doth glanceth upon the words "Brisket Birria Sandwich" on the menu, and I had to pivot. I'm so glad that I went with my heart. The Brisket Birria Sandwich at Ripple & Company consists of smoked brisket, white cheddar, red onions and cilantro, all melted and pressed between a roll, and served with birria consomme. You dip the sandwich in the consomme and eat, kind of like a French dip. Dip and eat, dip and eat, until you can't dip and eat anymore, either because it's all gone or because your stomach is about to burst. It's a big sandwich, and it is also served with incredibly delicious fries, which doesn't help with the stomach bursting thing. This whole meal is amazing and I would visit Ripple & Company just to eat this exact thing again. I visited with people who ate at Ripple & Company quite frequently, and they got their favorites: The Black & Gold Pub Burger, and the Cajun Shrimp Tacos, with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts. Everyone enjoyed everything. As a nice surprise, one of my dining mates ordered the Smokehouse Nachos for us to share, as if we didn't have enough food. But there's a different chamber in my stomach for chips and nachos, and luckily, that chamber was empty, so it worked out just fine. The nachos are great, with tender pieces of shredded pork, pickled jalapenos, a vegetable mix, green onions and chipotle ranch drizzled on top. The service here is great: We were seated right away, ordered right way, and our food came out within a good amount of time. The decor is car and transportation themed, with traffic signs and hubcaps hung up on the walls. Very fun.

Our table had Korean tacos, a brisket sandwich, and brisket and grits. Everything was delicious. The baked beans are wonderful. The queso is great. The atmosphere is loud and lively with fun decor, and the service was excellent. We will be here every visit now.

Our favorites include the brisket and the jalapeño sausage . The Mac n cheese- I almost went and bought more. The sweet corn bread- a perfect way to end the meal. I appreciate the no tip policy when paying. The staff were friendly and helpful. The space is nice and casual.

The ribs at Revolution are smoked with a delicious rub. Great flavor. They don't fall off the bone. I'm not sure if that's because they're smoked or what. But they're good. The brisket is amazing. This is a must try. They have some kind of pepper blend rub that will knock your socks off. It's so juicy and delicious. The seasoned tots are really good and crunchy. The baked beans are fabulous. The mac n cheese is terrible. No flavor. Has some kind of Cheeto dust on top. Don't get that. They have sweet tea too. That's so hard to find now that we left the South. The nachos are excellent. We always get a half pan. Tonight the avocado was not quite ripe enough yet. It was pretty firm. Regardless, those nachos with pulled pork were delicious. Service was great on a busy Friday night. Our server was Holly and she did a great job. They also have homemade pies and other desserts. I have yet to get any because I'm too full after dinner. I think I heard a server say they were out of several desserts. The Purdue students came back this week so I'm sure this place has been hopping. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place. You can't go wrong here.
