After walking around the food court area in H Mart we decided on this place for lunch. KZ Mori specializes in curry and katsu. They offer a variety of different types of katsu including pork, chicken, fish, cheese and tofu. Their menu is pretty simple. You can make any of them a combo if you like. But if you want something different then they also have curry udon as well. We shared their curry pork katsu. Our pork was perfectly fried and the meat was moist and delicious. The curry was a little on the bland side but I still enjoyed it. A portion was very generous. It also came with some pickled radish, pickled ginger, a cabbage salad, rice, and some miso soup. Pricing was very affordable and we were very satisfied. Like mentioned, it is located inside Hmart but worth going just for this. We even saw lots of Hmart workers getting their lunch here as well. This spot is located inside the new Hmart! The food court is big and has a ton of other options as well in case you wanna come with a group and they are in the mood for something else. There's a good amount of tables and chairs food court style. We ordered at the counter and they provide me a buzzer. Even though it was their grand opening weekend, we were able to get a table quickly. The portion is HUGE!! I ordered the curry udon combo and my bf got the mixed combo. Came around opening time on a Monday. I ordered the pork katsu meal. For the price the portions are humongous. I ate maybe 1/4 of the katsu and was completely stuffed and had lots of leftovers. We just had our mandatory Hmart food court date this weekend and tried out KZ Mori. For $19 we got the Mix Katsu Combo with Curry served on the side. The tray came with miso soup, cabbage salad and katsu sauce! Pickled radishes were at the counter for self service as well! We were there late afternoon so the wait for food was quick, about 10 minutes before our order was done. Portions are huge, we ended up sharing the entree between the two of us! I ordered the regular portion of curry pork katsu and and a side order of the cheese katsu as well. My total was about $25. I ordered my meal to-go as I figured I would not finish the entire meal. There are plenty of tables to sit it. They give you a buzzer and you pick up your meal when it is ready. Very casual vibes and good service. My meal was delicious!!! The portion was a very good size!! My curry pork katsu meal came with 2 pieces of pork katsu, a side of rice, a side salad of cabbage, the curry, and a side soup. It was way more than I could finish in one sitting. I would have to say though, that I am definitely a rice person, so the one thing I would change is ask if I can have double rice instead of the salad as I'm not much of a salad person... or add an order of rice. I would say though, that the salad really does balance out the meal. The pork katsu was crispy and tender. The curry was delicious!! It most definitely had a kick to it. I came back to this place because my first experience was very good. This time they were two employees at the front of the restaurant and when I asked questions they spoke in Spanish to each other instead of answering my question. They told me I didn't know what I was talking about. The woman told the man working there just give her whatever. They didn't know that I understand Spanish. While I was waiting she killed a fly on the wall with her hand and never washed her hands. The man was the one that was handling my food thank God! This is in the new H-mart! I brought the Udon (Chicken) Katsu Combo and their portion is surprisingly big. I am usually not a fan of Katsu but I was so surprised by how much I like it! Crispy texture, balanced source, and combination of menu etc. The sauce for the Katsu was sooo delicious. The Udon broth is really good and warm. Menu is not large, most of the items are katsu.
