I found amazing reviews on Michelle and reached out. We had a FaceTime call first (she was going out of town) so she could see what needed to be fixed and I was able to hear what her plan would be to correct it. I loved it! I was on board and booked my appointment with her. The day of I sat in her chair and she proceeds to put her hands through my hair ... "ohhh yeahhhhh". We talked about the plan, she told me the steps she was going to do and proceeded to gingerly cut away. I also got a shampoo and blow-dry with my haircut. Loved that nice touch on massage! She left me looking 10/10 when she was done! She was so gracious telling me if there is something that needed to be fixed to let her know and she'd do what she could to get me in. I did make one quick trip back but that was not to her fault. We knew that we were going to have to do a grow out to really correct the issue since we are trying to save some length. I am that girl that either doesn't brush her hair in the morning (true story) and just makes sure it's laying nice by running some pomade over flyaways because I do not like using heat! OR I take 5 minutes and use that round brush blowdryer (get you one! so fast!) and the picture I posted was that day. I'm very happy with the results. She had alot to fix and she delivered! Coincidentally my aunt went to another butcher, I mean barber, I mean stylist and was in the same situation. I immediately sent her Michelle's info and she booked an appt. I dont think ive ever seen my aunts hair look SO cute!!! I recommend Michelle! She's thorough, sweet, accommodating and you are in great hands with her!!!

She is a positive breath of fresh air and hair. She has a way of making everyone feel like they're her best friend. More points: - she will do whatever you ask, but also let you know if what you're requesting could damage your hair. - she's got the skill to handle most hair types (I've sent many a friend and acquaintance her way) - she is very good at subtle, natural color - she offers coffee - she's a good listener and great story teller I'm gonna wrap this review up. She paid close attention to every detail, especially my request to retain length, and was always transparent about how much she was cutting, which I really appreciated. She was also so easy to talk to and incredibly thoughtful, constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable, whether that meant offering coffee or water or making sure nothing hurt. Her scalp massage while washing my hair felt heavenly and truly elevated the experience, making it feel so luxurious. In addition to her amazing work, the location itself was beautiful, clean, and such a lovely space to be in, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved my haircut, and Shannon made me feel beautiful not only through the cut itself but also through her kind compliments and care throughout the appointment. Unfortunately, my hair was made much much darker than what I asked for, and my roots were not lightened. I told her she does great work but wasn't what I requested. She told me she would fix it. She provided a few dates that conflicted due to the holidays, and after that she ghosted me. I continued reaching out for three months asking for availability, but received no response, even after offering to pay again to correct my hair. She read the messages and still did not respond. I understand businesses can refuse service to anyone, but I was nothing but kind and respectful. I also never requested anything for free. I paid full price and tipped, so the lack of follow through and communication has been very disappointing. It's unfortunate having to find a new hair stylist. Being ghosted by my stylist made me feel like I was not a priority as a client, and that my time and business were not valued.

I model, and I didn't even want to take a picture of my hair because I hate how it turned out. My hair feels brittle and dry, like they didn't use conditioner at all. I've been getting highlights for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like this. Even though I came in on a Groupon, I offered to pay them directly so they wouldn't lose any money, and they were still genuinely terrifying. They refused to fix anything and only yelled at me. DO NOT GO. This was truly the most horrifying salon visit I've ever had.
