I flew in from California 5/7/21 - 5/9/21 to visit my daughter who attends and plays for Grayson College Softball. Rentals care were scarce. I had to drive my daughter car 2018 Honda civic for a few days, I noticed that her cars plastic undercarriage had come undone. it was dragging and making a noise every time we droved it. it was late Saturday and started looking for oil shops that can do the oil change and fix the plastic by using zip ties or fasteners. I still had 60% left on my oil before changing it but I just didn't want to go into shop with just fixing the plastic. Gentlemen greeted me and told me to wait while they finished with other customers. After a few minutes he came and took the vehicle into the bay. I sat and waited in the waiting room for a few minutes. He came back and explain I still had 60% of oil life and that he didn't recommend I change my oil yet. I explained that to him that I just didn't want to come in just to fix the plastic. He said no problem we will fix it as a courtesy to our customers. that was so awesome!!!!! I requested oil change for my Ram 1500, assuming they'd check all the fluids under the hood. Noticed it was running hot after leaving. Drive around for a while, noticing it a little hot while moving but way hotter while idling. Got it home and looked under the hood. Coolant was low, taking around a gallon to fill the radiator and reservoir. May have been low when I went in, and I hadn't noticed, but it runs at normal temperature now. Washer fluid reservoir was nearly empty. These were marked as checked on the receipt, when clearly, some items weren't. They did take the time to show me that the air filter was dirty, which I replaced myself for $21. I only went there because I'm taking a trip soon and my regular place was closed for the day. If I go back, I'll watch them the whole time. read more

I seen the bad reviews on Apple Maps. I have never had a bad experience at this location. Maybe it is different management now. The lobby is clean with plenty of seating. I purposely don't come at peak times, so I am in and out in 30 minutes when getting an oil change. read more

I went in for a state inspection for my car. The woman (Marina) there droved my car for brake inspection and then returned to place my car in the bay. As soon as she open the hood, she told me that my tint was too dark. I have been here before to get an inspection and my tint was never an issue. In fact it passed inspection by her last year. When I told her that, her comment was that those employees were fired. When I checked who did the inspection on my car, it was her that did the inspection. First it was the fired employees and then when I called her ,its was a bad tint gauze. But they have a new one that was works. I always try to do business with locals, but it seems you can't. One thing I don't like,is being lied to in the first place. I have had this tint for over 5 years without any issue with passing inspection. (the lowest tint possible) read more

They damaged my vehicle!!!! BEWARE! I even went back to try to show they what had happened and give them a chance to fix it and they wanted to argue with me that they didn't do it. If attaching the part back in my vehicle is my responsibility then I wouldn't have come here. I now have to pay hundreds of dollars to get it fixed. The GM and the tech. yelled at me when I asked them about replacing the part. I want the owner to contact me. read more

Waited quite awhile which would have been okay. Primary reason for going was an inspection. Decided to get oil change while there but not really due yet. They had to send me to auto part store for an oil filter they didn't have. I pd for this @16.00 and they credited me 2.00 because they didn't provide. After changing the oil They then told me they couldn't inspect because I needed an emissions test because car registered in another county that required it. Next day drove to Anna Kwik car. In and out in 20 minutes for inspection. They are amazingly proficient even though extremely busy. I asked if they had an oil filter for my car for future reference. They did. They also offer better prices and coupons. Giving two stars instead of one because the person who changed oil was very kind and apologetic. read more

Driving through town on a road trip and my oil light came on. James and the manager were so kind and checked my car quickly and topped off my oil...for free! There would have been ample opportunity for them to upsell and charge me, and they didn't. I am now a customer for life at the Kwik Kar back home! read more

I went in to get my oil changed and when they found a lose screw on my air filter box , i told them to tighten it. A hour and 20 minutes my Ram 1500 was finally done . My Bill was 145.00 i guess it cost a bunch to get a screw tighten. Never again will go back there. read more

Did not get the filter on correctly so on start up it blew oil all over everything. They said the treads on filter were bad but I looked at them and they were fine. They cleaned the under side of my truck but it is still dripping oil. Not a good experience. It's a pretty new truck now the frame is an oily mess. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I consider myself to be a very patient and understanding person, but I've come here twice and have had bad experiences both times (as did my mom). I should've known after the first visit not to come back, but I figured I just came in at a bad time. This time he LOCKED MY KEYS IN THE CAR! We waited for a locksmith, then he gave me a half-behind apology and proceeded to lecture and talk down to me as to why I shouldn't have come in the first place because my oil looked fine (apparently I'm expected to be a car oil expert). As a woman of color, I'm used to car service workers talking down to me, but this was a whole other level of disrespect, which baffles me because it was completely his mistake. read more

Tried to get my oil changed on Saturday. The manager was very rude. Had no organizational skills. I was in line waiting when he was to busy to observe my place in line and he told me I would have to move to the end of the line because he forgot to right down when I got there. Got oil change last week. We do not Iive in town. SUV started missing on the way home. Got home, opened hood, found oil all over. I have resessed spark plugs & the slots were full of oil. Two days, $300 in repairs & we are back on road. I understand folk make mistakes but you have know as a business when you need to stop & clean up the small messes so they do not turn into big messes. Worst service I have ever had getting a simple oil change. Car was taken into the service bay and the hood was opened and they began draining the oil. They did not ask me what service I wanted, or tell me what it would cost or anything else. I had to run out to the mechanic and let him know I did not want synthethic oil as the car was 32 years old. When I asked the person at the register about this he said it was only his third day on the job and they had been very busy. Never wiil go there again read more

I came into here after working 12 hour shift to get an oil change and they broke my key, they drive your car in to do the oil change then drive it around to the front when they are done. I called when I got home and stopped by the next day where I was told they would talk to the manager and he would call me. After not hearing from them I called back and was told they have no way of knowing that it happened there. After doing a review on Google maps they changed there story to I said the key was already broke when I came in I will no longer be using their services. I had no issues with them before this but have read other reviews saying they damaged there vehicle and refused to pay for damages. read more

Came here for an oil change. My second trip here for this service. First time did not go well but thought giving them another chance was best. Earlier today I had a light come on the dash. I asked if they had the ability to hook it up to their computer to find out the codes. They agreed. 5 minutes later the nice gentleman came in and told me they could hook it up for me but would charge me 20$ JUST for that. AutoZone is 3 buildings over and does it for free. As I listened to the two men also in the waiting room, they also are sitting here having to pay more for things other places do not charge for or not as much. Will NOT be returning. Took entirely too long and the fact they want to up charge is enough for me. read more

I took my truck in for an oil change at the Loy Lake location on July 1. A few weeks later, while hauling a sick horse to the vet my oil pressure warning came on. A minute or two later I was parked at the vet clinic and my truck and trailer were cover in oil and there was a big puddle under my truck. A mechanic came to the clinic and discovered that my truck had two gaskets on the oil filter. He said "rookie mistake", they will reimburse you". He took pictures and talked to Daniel at Kwik Kar. Two hours and $300 later on was on my way home with a filthy truck and trailer. Upon talking to Daniel again, he said his regional manager was only willing to give me a free oil change next time I came in. Not acceptable! Daniel said they found the video of my truck being serviced and could see when the two gaskets were attached. I asked him to call Brian back which resulted in Brian saying I could drive to Sherman, 30 minutes away, and be reimbursed $157 for the oil change. Again, not acceptable. Daniel said he was told to pressure wash my truck and trailer in the parking lot of the Kwik Kar. Poor use of a manager's time in my opinion. Long story endless, I drive up there, the pressure washer isn't working, Daniel gets Brian on the phone for me, he is rude again, but says he will send the full reimbursement check and hangs up on me. That was July 26. My check engine light came on the next day. The Ford service center cleared it, but it came back on. I've been told the check has been "lost in the mail", "they are sending another one", "should be here in a day or two"...now it is October 1 and still nothing. Daniel is no longer returning texts. I am filing in small claims court now for not only the $300, but for any engine repairs, my time and fuel dealing with these fools. read more

My wife and I have been going here for oil changes and inspections for a long time. Never a problem in fact a pleasant experience. OK, OK an oil change is just one of those life events that we all have to do, not necessarily a "pleasant experience". They notified me and showed me that my car needed synthetic oil per the manufacturer (I just assumed normal 10-20 would do), but sure enough, in the owners manual there it was. I recall that they found a problem with my wife's car that she wound up taking to the dealer to repair under warranty. They didn't have to do that. read more
