In partnership with my agent, we used KVS title to close on my house in Alexandria. I have been extremely disappointed by KVS title. KVS forgot to collect some of the city taxes at closing. I was informed by my bank and KVS did a terrible job handling the situation. I received an email saying. "We deeply regret forgetting to collect the taxes. But what are you proposing?" I have dealt with a number of title companies in the past and would certainly not recommend them to anyone. read more

I'm the seller. KVS Title was not helpful. They seem to have purposefully delayed providing me with the funds so that they could keep the interest. They received the buyers funds on Thursday/Friday but said they couldn't wire me the funds until late on Friday afternoon. Then, they didn't even wire me the funds until late on Monday afternoon. They kept all of the interest for 4 days. I would never want to use them again. read more
