I have now used KVS to buy two different homes and will always use them when given the choice! They are professional, responsive and helpful! Angela and her team were able to get me through a smooth settlement and fast! for this last time we needed it done in 2 weeks, and it all worked out, they worked in perfect unison with the agents and lenders to make sure everything was done correctly. I highly recommend them for all your title needs! Thank you KVS! read more

The most efficient and professional real estate closing process I have ever had. They did all the advance work with no questions asked after I completed their initial online questionnaire. Closing took 15 minutes of document signing and the sales proceeds were received the same day. Well done! read more

Our experience with KVS Title was great. They were easy to work with and made our real estate transaction progress smoothly. Good communication and reasonable fees. read more

I had an excellent experience closing with KVS Title. They made the whole process completely seamless and stress-free. Everyone I worked with was so helpful and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend! read more

The absolute best experience with KVS! Erika was a joy to work with and was quick on responses. She always answered the phone. I highly recommend KVS Title. read more

My experience with KVS was good. The closing process was a bit tricky due to the fact that I live in another state and the whole process was completed via email and virtually. There was crucial detail left until the last minute. But they came through with getting everything done and the closing day went super smoothly. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. read more

We had a couple of minor issues at closing and they were completely responsive and helpful in addressing them.

KVS was easy to work with, very quick to respond and helpful with questions we had in the process. The closing process does not always go smoothly, but with KVS all minor wrinkles were eliminated. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat. read more

Highly recommended, would use again. Very satisfied with KVS Title. I worked with Brenden O'Conor out of their Potomac office and am very satisfied with them. I'm a first time homebuyer and was very stressed and overwhelmed with the entire process. Brenden was the consummate professional. There was a small hitch in the settlement that was not their fault, but they worked diligently to resolve the problem quickly. During the settlement, Brenden was thorough and detailed. He answered every single one of my questions and explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand. His demeanor and knowledge really helped to alleviate the anxiety I had with a process I was unfamiliar with and the amount of money on the line. Again, this is my first time buying on a house and going through the settlement process so I do not have experience with other title offices but I am absolutely satisfied with Brenden and KVS Title. read more

KVS handled our closing with accuracy and professionalism. They cleared up a title issue promptly. I would highly recommend them!

I recently sold my home and I would very highly recommend Rikki, Charles and the rest of the team at KVS title. I'm truly amazed by how it's so easy nowadays to sign paperwork and close on a home! read more

I recently sold my home and used KVS Title to close the deal. Rikki Woodall was the lead at KVS and she was terrific. I had to call her a couple of times to address a couple of issues (liens, and other details) and she was both fast and efficient. When the transaction was completed smoothly, I was left with the impression that KVS, and especially Rikki, is really on their game. read more

The KVS team were outstanding in customer service, expertise, and modern tools facilitating the sale of our property. Best value and friendliest folks! Cheers read more

I'm a Realtor with Compass. I've worked with many settlement companies and KVS is hands down the best. I've been using them whenever possible for about 3.5 years. While I have always been impressed by them I was prompted to write this review because they recently came though big for me with some much needed legal advise. Specifically thank you Marty S., Laura F., & Kathleen P. If there are no issues with your transaction then it probably doesn't matter much which Title company you choose, but if something goes sideways it's about the most important transaction-related decision you make. KVS is not the cheapest but they are priced fairly for their commitment to absolute quality. You don't want the cheapest. I wouldn't buy brakes for my vehicle from Tamu, same idea. Full disclosure I believe KVS has an affiliation with Compass, but I've been using KVS since before that affiliation started. Thanks again KVS. read more

Fast and efficacious - I had a great experience overall with KVS Title. Special mention to Carrie Kelly for being so supportive throughout the process ! read more

The team at KVS Title was terrific - I was administrator to an estate and Carrie Kelly and her team handled the settlement process on the sale of a condo. They responded quickly to questions, reassured me when I was puzzled or frazzled, and set up a very efficient and convenient remote signing process for me. read more

An amazing team of attorneys, processors, and post processors! I can't tell you how many transactions I have had with this fabulous title company...but more than most! I have been in the business for close to 20 years and this company is outstanding for everything legal and closing! There is not one attorney is better than the other...they are all the best. Thank you KVS Title! read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Rikki Woodall. We did our closing from out of state (CA for a house in VA), and Rikki was able to make it stress free event. She was proactive, had wonderful communication skills and helped ensure that we were able to close w/ a notary in CA w/ no challenges. I highly recommend Rikki and KVS Title. read more

KVS was responsive, knowledgeable and made our closing as smooth as possible! Highly recommend.

Honest, thorough, diligent and kind - not to mention whip smart. I'm so grateful to Marty Stanton (lead attorney) for going the extra mile when we had a glitch at the end of a recent transaction. He did an amazing job with due diligence. Danny Cantwell, title attorney, is kind and patient and funny and makes every closing feel like a celebration. Cicely Mitchell, title processor, is responsive and hardworking, often taking my calls after hours. I can't say enough about this amazing team. Noah Cantor is fabulous as well, and helped me research a complex issue for another deal. I'd use them EVERY time if I could! You won't regret chosing KVS. (Full disclosure - I am a Realtor with Compass, that owns KVS) read more

Everything went smoothy for our sale, all done remotely, which was well organized, and easy to do.

I've been a lender for nearly a decade. Every time I see KVS on a purchase contract I know my team can get what we need in a timely manner and any issues that arise will be handled in a professional and courteous manner. This most recent time I was connected to Lindsay Neam. She was incredibly knowledable on top of being extremely couresty, professional, and kind. Hats off to KVS Title for holding themselves to a standard that's above the rest. read more

Jennifer Lee recently helped me close on my condo in Arlington, and she was wonderful!! Jennifer kindly and effectively explained things I didn't understand. Throughout the process, Jennifer's work was careful and efficient and accurate--and she unfailingly did what she said she would do when she said she would do it. I recently had to reach back out to Jennifer to ask a question, and she quickly went back into my file to provide the needed information. I'm 65 years old and have probably owned ten houses. Without question, Jennifer is the best title agent with whom I've ever worked!! I'd recommend her without reservation. read more

It was my first time closing with this company at the Mclean office, and I had a very positive experience from start to finish. Specifically, Cindy was very meticulous in handling my cyber privacy requirements, even after being very busy with multiple client files. They kept their word on the timeline for disbursements and proceeds and were generally patient and professional in dealing with my unique requirements. I will certainly consider using them again for future needs. Thank you! read more

Rikki and everyone else at KVS title were really helpful, communicative, and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend working with them!

Had a great experience with KVS Title when purchasing my first home. They kept everything on track and were extremely pleasant to work with. My settlement processor, Catherine, was very helpful and professional. Dan was great via email and even better in person at closing when explaining the many signatures required on the stacks of paperwork, and making the process as efficient as possible. Only thing that could have improved my experience is if they could've figured out that half of the forty keys the sellers dumped into a ziplock bag for settlement didn't actually belong to active door locks at the condo. They even sent me off with a nice bottle of bubbly to celebrate my new place! read more

Okay, I am not sure how this place gets any business other than maybe paying realtors off to refer them. They have no idea how to deal with customers and are very narrow minded. I had to actually ask for "law" why I couldn't close in another city. The Lady Krystal D, was adamant that we had to be present! This is the worst title company I have ever dealt with. I even so much as to called the office to speak to her and she never answered my call there or her cell. If your realtor picks this company tell them NO!!!! You're the customer! They aren't doing you any favors! You're paying them! Not the other way around! Customer Service sucks and Krystal needs training in people skills! Terrible all around!!! They should also learn the laws and speak to lenders before imposing what they assume to believe is true! Do not use them! I'm telling you! Go to a title company with 5 stars or good reviews all the way around! read more

KVS, 100% the worst experience dealing with an escrow company. They held the earnest money escrow deposit on a canceled home sale for over 2 years. They refused to follow court ordered divorce instructions which forced me to go back to court and relive my painful divorce only to have the judge confirm the original judgment. They bullied me and let my ex husband dictate and make up terms. They held funds for another 2 weeks after the 2nd court ruling and then made up fake procedures and rules in regards to the disbursement of funds. read more

We just closed the sale of a home we owned in Old Town Alexandria. Our agent chose KVS to handle the settlement. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Led by Rikki, everything went very smoothly. All documents were done well, sent in a timely manner so we could settle remotely. I had a question on the settlement sheet and Rikki had one of their attorneys call me and answered all my questions. Settlement went very well, and funds were disbursed in a day. From start to finish KVS did and excellent job and I would recommend them highly. Dan Thomas read more

They simply did an outstanding job. This was a complicated transaction with numerous changes occurring at closing. They handled them quickly and professionally. Suzanne and Jackie are rock stars. Detail oriented, efficient, and friendly. Their follow through leading up to closing and their proficiency at the closing table were top notch. Some circumstances involved so you understand what was working against us (we still closed on time): Seller: out of the country Buyer: 1031 exchange; purchasing entity name change AT closing table Existing lease had to be modified and part of closing 10+ amendments to sales agreement Closed on time with a thoughtful gift....I should have bought them something! read more

Great communication throughout the transaction. They also were very helpful and accommodating with my seller's closing date and time. I highly recommend KVS Title :) read more

I had no idea what to expect from a title company when we purchased our first home but our real estate agent suggested KVS Title based on experience with them. I must say I'm shocked to see any bad reviews here, because our experience with KVS Title was absolutely seamless. Any of our questions/needs were answered immediately by phone or email and Claudia the attorney who handled our settlement was such a professional. She was very patient with us as first time home buyers and not only answered all our questions but wanted to make sure we understood her answers and were comfortable before proceeding. I really liked that an actual attorney was with us during the signing as some of our friends said they didn't get an attorney at other places. If you are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and paying for a settlement I feel like you should at least have time with an attorney at closing. Either way we highly recommend KVS title for a great closing and stress free home buying experience. read more

KVS was highly recommended by my realtor and I am glad to have trusted his judgement. Everyone at KVS was friendly, professional and responsive throughout my home buying process. In particular, I was extremely impressed by my processor (Claudia Sanchez), who was truly a joy to work with and crucially helped with a number of time sensitive issues during the closing process (that arose due to another organization). Claudia's swift actions really saved the day and helped me to close on time! My settlement attorney (Noah Cantor) was also awesome! He was very personable and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions expertly and set all of my concerns to rest. His guidance thru the process was really reassuring, and his calm and friendly demeanor made him a pleasure to work with. read more

Very disappointed service. I lost the money because they delayed the wire transfer request. Meanwhile, they did not take any responsibility for their careless mistake. Do not choose their service due to their very unprofessional service. read more

We had a great experience working with KVS Title who assisted us both for our sale and purchase. The whole team was very efficient, transparent and prompt with communication and made the whole process very seamless. They were on top of everything required pre-closing and coordinated with our agent and lender like a machine behind the scenes. Closings were very easy and efficient - both for our sale which we were able to utilize the online notary/signing and purchase which they ensured all of the safety precautions. We worked with Rikki during the process and Katie for the closing and both of them were great to work with - very professional, friendly and easy to communicate. We'd definitely work with them again. read more

They were sooo helpful! Everyone on the team, Rikki, Liz, and Melissa were so responsive, extremely patient, and so friendly!
