I was never an advocate for using realtors to buy/sell any home - especially in today's digital era. That all changed when I met Melinda Estridge. In fact, she told me that her group was going to "change my opinion of realtors" forever. Let's just say that The Estridge Group surpassed any expectations I had. This past summer, we had to quickly downsize my aging parents from their home of 40 years to a senior living community. Melinda assured me that if we followed her teams's advice and recommendations, she would be able to find buyers for our parent's home within 30 days and sell it at a very competitive price point. We took the month of June to repair, update and stage the home - and listed it during the July 4th weekend. The open house was a huge success and stimulated lots of interest. True to her word, and before the end of July, the home was under contract. The settlement and closing was simple and Melinda guided us all the way to the finish line. Best of all, our parent's home was sold a bit higher than our asking price (yeah baby!). What I've written in this review so far could be considered as basic expectations for any good realtor. However, what made The Estridge Group fantastic was the way that they handled the smaller "experiential" details. As soon as we committed to work with them, they would regularly communicate with us throughout the home repair work, the staging efforts and the listing/showing process. We were never in the dark and we always understood what was going on and what they were doing.
