After more than five years of practicing Lagree and experiencing studios across multiple cities and states, KV still stands out by a wide margin. The space itself is SO incredibly beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is all of the amazing instructors. Every class is led with warmth, integrity, and a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional workout. Each instructor brings a distinct style and approach, which keeps the experience fresh and engaging no matter whose class you take. What I appreciate most is the intentional effort to connect, both before and after class, which creates an environment where you feel recognized and valued as an individual, not just a client. Karina, the owner, has cultivated something special, a community that makes everyone who walks through the doors feel like they belong.

KV lagree is what keeps me toned and sculpted, all the trainers are amazing. after your class you will always feel great af! Because the vibes here are always positive and Karina puts so much effort and love into this studio and it's always a vibe here. Doesn't matter if you are just beginning on your fitness journey or you been doing Lagree for years I love the contrast in every class and you never feel alone on your fitness journey. Thank you Karina and all the KV lagree trainers appreciate all of you girls

this is my favorite lagree studio! from the smaller class size to the well versed instructors, you won't regret visiting this studio. ashlee and kelly are who i like to book with for my preferred level of difficulty. i've visited numerous studios across the valley and i keep coming back to this one. i like the dimmer lighting, there's always good music, and i feel like the routines aren't too repetitive. i personally have always liked traditional pilates over lagree, but this studio changed my perspective a bit and now i like to keep it in my routine!

This gym is just conveniently located across the street and far exceeded my expectations. I've been to several gyms throughout SoCal, Vegas, and Phoenix, and found that this was definitely comparable to the nicer gyms I have been to. There are 6 squat racks on the right side of the gym but it's interesting because the barbells are by Escape, but they have a hammer strength rack, and American fitness plates. Lol. There are also 8 more squat racks in the back of the gym!!! So... there is plenty of equipment. They have a variety of machines here owned by booty builder which I had never heard of before but easily got the hang of once I finally located the instructions per machine. I had never in my life done a standing hip abductor but it seemed fun and definitely felt more helpful than the seated ones. They have one seated hip thrust that's so difficult to work with and 2 standing hip thrust machines that... don't really seem helpful, but they're there. For the rest of the gym, a couple things I also liked: - spa recovery room with 4 massage chairs and TVs - separate fitness room for platinum members - TRX section and turf area - boxing area with punching bags - very clean bathrooms with steam and sauna rooms already inside (so they're same sex if that matters to you) - self-running Assault treadmills (my fave treadmills) - ski machines - filtered water stations Now even though I visited around 4 PM on a Sunday, I imagine it was pretty busy because it's January so people are kickstarting their fitness regimen. Only time will tell how it holds up during peak hours but so far, I have no complaints and look forward to my future visits here. (4/50--2025)

The first time I entered Crunch, Stephen/Steven at the front desk smiled and greeted me; he made me feel welcome. Bishoy, a former manager was also awesome! He asked whether I cared about the age or gender of the personal trainer. I didn't. Given my existing condition, he strongly recommended Ryan Ainsworth. Ryan is exemplary! He has the eye of a physical therapist and is arguably as good as one - if not better! He is kind and nurturing. Whenever I'd whine about the difficulty of an exercise, he'd always encourage me while ensuring that I'd perform that exercise with fidelity. Ryan possesses the sublime ability to immediately adjust specific exercises to meet my personal needs. Ryan's nuanced adjustments are sublime! Current and former managers Bishoy, Johnny (at the Norwalk location), Armando, CJ, and Charlie always exhibited genuine kindness combined with outstanding customer service during times I had to postpone training for extended period of time due to illness, cataract surgeries, and fractured toes as a result of being clumsy at home. Ryan Ainsworth has given me the grace to accept myself, be resilient, and prevail with this "new normal" for which I am eternally grateful!!!

Unfortunately, management is a completely different story. They are opportunistic and very inconsiderate. Despite me sending emails and calling ahead of time to confirm that I would not be charged after the three-month agreement, they still charged my card anyway. I don't like to argue, so I took matters into my own hands and showed my bank the emails and explained that I had called to get reassurance beforehand; yet I was still charged. That alone says a lot about their lack of integrity and morality. What made this even more frustrating is that after the bank reimbursed me, management suddenly called me again to "cancel" the training and I forwarded the same email I had already sent months ago stating I wanted to cancel after three months. This felt extremely tedious and reactive, especially since I had already been clear and proactive from the beginning. Please read the Yelp reviews before signing up. Ben is amazing and truly cares about his clients, but management(especially Armando) makes the overall experience unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing.

Staff enforces mask wearing and wipes are available to wipe down your equipment. AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO IT!!? What?! Everyone re-racks the weights and plates properly, and there are plenty of squat racks and benches. They have a track to run on as well as a HIIT area on the upper floors. There is also an area to do abs and stretching. They offer private pilates, Zumba, and yoga classes. Not to mention that they have an incredible rock climbing wall. This place is luxurious and spacious, and I'm not mad about probably ~50% of my tuition going to its maintenance and upkeep. Only thing that bothers me about the SRC is that they have such limited hours around the holidays. For example, this past weekend following Thanksgiving, they were only open from 10-2 pm. They are also closed from Dec 25- Jan 1, which I guess is understandable. But then again they are closed the week before the spring semester starts. It makes me feel like if I wanted to work out during those times, I need to purchase a separate gym membership somewhere else (which I do not want to do). Also, keep in mind that if you want to rock climb, you have to come at certain times as well, when the rock climbing staff are there. They really need to bring back the guest passes! Especially if that guest was an alumnus. And if they are going to charge $180 a semester for alumni gym membership, maybe make it worth it by not randomly closing down a couple weeks before the semester starts.

For example Planet Fitness and Crunch are economical and both have locations close by. Fitness 19 is in that group and I chose it as a secondary gym to a membership I have elsewhere. You get what you expect from an open gym. In the main area there are ample cardio machines, weights, other equipment, tvs. Why I chose this gym is (a) the wider variety of classes available (b) ample parking (c) the ability to pay up front for a whole year. I got the premier plus membership so there are some frills - like hydromassage or red light therapy - but really I'm just here for the cardio equipment to help supplement my other gym that is mostly circuit training. Much like other low cost gyms, can get super busy so prepare accordingly. You also have to deal with other individuals. Filming. Flexing in the mirror. Person getting mad at you for innocently not re-racking versus being polite about it. People coughing or not cleaning their equipment. Comes with the territory. If you don't accept that, then just work out at home or go to a fancy gym like equinox. All in all, whether it's 15 or 25 a month based on your plan, you get what you pay for and a fine option for those looking to start their exercise plan off this new year.

On top of that, the gym is not clean enough and there is often a horrible smell inside. It does not feel like a well-maintained facility. I'm seriously considering changing gyms. I would not recommend this location
