They got nice music playing, heavy conversations, everyone who walks in there knows they're going to get the best service. He was talking to me the whole time, I didn't feel like just another client. Thankfully, I was seated next to a long-timer who was very polite and friendly and super helpful with her recommendations. We got the pretty basic pedi since we were on a somewhat of a time crunch. I was really impressed! I'm super critical about my feet, especially in the summer and after being laid up for 3 months after leg surgery my feet looked like I could swoop down and drag fish out of the ocean! I'm from Cincinnati and by the time I was able to "walk" again I didn't have time to get my talons taken care of before I left. I was so happy with the service, price and ambiance. I will ABSOLUTELY come here next time I'm in town! My bff who lives here was so impressed she and her daughter are coming back for the awesome suggestion to get the "volcano" treatment. I had to be very careful with my treatment since my surgery incision was still not completely healed. And the gentleman who was working on me was very conscious of this and took every precaution to make sure my incision wasn't compromised or anything would possibly hurt it. It was a little more than an hour before they were closing. I showed them what I wanted for my nails and said that I assumed I didn't have time for a pedicure. They said that they would be happy to do my nails while I sat in the chair for the pedicure. Tom did a great job on the nails and all while he was standing up! Lan was very creative with my toes. There was powder on my fingernails so we couldn't do the same thing on my toes, but she incorporated some of the color and made a great choice! They were both so friendly, talented, patient, and did not hurry the process even with it being the end of the night. The salon is clean and the seat was comfy.

I was a…read morenail tech and the prep work done on my nails was terrible. 30.00 on just applying a top coat is robbery and another 30.00 for my daughter so there went the tips. Then nicking and forcing a nail file on the side walls is unnecessary. The lack of experience showed. Didn't bother to measure and when tips were asked to be corrected you could feel how annoyed it made them. The girl who did my pedicure was amazing. As for my daughter the work was great. However I noticed them taking photos of her hands. Not a true big deal but as she is my daughter it would have been nice to ask a parents permission beforehand. Back to my nails...the ones that were corrected are already lifting so I wasted money going there. A shame is what it is. I dont mind paying but be clear on pricing and stop over charging for every tiny thing then get mad that customers expect what they pay for. I came in for acrylic removal and dip powder on my natural nails. I communicated that clearly at…read morecheck-in. After I was seated, I asked for color books and was brought dip powder books. I chose a pink sparkly dip color from those books. Later, when it was time for color, I was told that shade was not available, so I picked another color, still under the assumption we were doing dip. Near the end of the service, I realized he was doing a gel acrylic process instead of dip powder. I had never had dip before, so I did not immediately recognize the steps, but once I did, I spoke up. He then claimed he "didn't know," which does not make sense given that I stated the service at check-in and selected from dip powder books. At that point, instead of acknowledging the mistake, multiple staff members insisted it was my fault and still attempted to charge me. I was also told I could leave with my nails partially done and not have to pay, but this came only after the situation had escalated and become circular. Looking back, the color situation raises concerns. I selected a dip powder color from a dip book, yet was told it was not available. Given that the service being performed had shifted to gel without being confirmed, it suggests the color may have been treated as unavailable because it did not fit the service they had already started, rather than because it did not exist. The interaction then became repetitive and unproductive. I was told over and over that it was my fault because I came in with acrylic on my nails, even though I had clearly requested removal and a different service. The technician also kept repeating that the service "would have been $60," which had nothing to do with the issue. I was initially willing to tip because I understood time had been spent, but it became clear that responsibility was being redirected instead of addressed. The only reason this situation fully resolved without escalation is because another customer stepped in and offered to pay. The salon itself did not correct the mistake or take responsibility. Dip powder and gel acrylic are completely different services. At no point was a change in service confirmed with me, despite choosing from dip powder books and requesting dip from the beginning. This is not a simple misunderstanding. It follows a pattern: perform a different service, avoid confirming the change, and when questioned, deny awareness, repeat irrelevant points, and shift responsibility onto the customer to justify payment. Be very clear about what you want and watch the process closely from the start if you come here. Even though I ultimately didn't have to pay, I'm still so pissed because they look awful and I will now have to go through this whole process again in the next couple of days but this time, It will be awful getting them roved because they are fresh. I can't believe this.
