We both had the butter chicken lunch special, which comes with naan and rice, and shared an appetizer veggie pakora. I really enjoyed this! We both have average to smaller appetites, so we finished our meal but still had leftover naan and pakoras to pack home. The butter chicken itself was too salty, but still delicious. The dosa was perfectly cooked -- so crispy on the outside. I preferred the white sauce dip, but I wish it was more peanutty. The accompanying soup was good but way too salty. I couldn't finish it because of the salt. Service was really good and very kind. They gave me a free container and bag when I couldn't finish my dosas. Nothing to note about the ambiance as it was in a food court. It was pretty crowded at lunch time.

I might not be an expert in Indian cuisine, but I do love myself a great butter chicken. Good flavor, and smokes of chicken pieces. I also enjoyed how they have different types of "naan" or bread they you can try. We ordered the regular butter naan and also tried the Pratha with paneer. Wasn't a big fan of the pratha was paneer. I feel like it's more dry, and the paneer/cheese was too thin. On the buttery bouncy naan was the winner. We loved the price point. Definitely a winner, especially if you don't mind just a clean and cozy hole in the wall ambiance. The service was friendly and quick. There was many to go orders being placed while we were there, but we were the only dine in customers. Looking forward to coming back and trying more things.

We ordered: - Daal makhani - malai kofta - paneer tikka The only thing I wouldn't order again is the masala papad, it's a simple dish and I feel like I've had it better and so worth a try here, but not worth ordering again. I could recommend using better quality papad (this tasted like the microwavable ones I buy) and adding cilantro on top! I can also suggest skipping the rasamalai and gajar ka halwa.

I had a moment with the buffet like the song from Alica Keys "The Piano and I" with Beethoven Moonlight Sonata's intro theme going on. But it was the "Buffet and I", it was memorable. Again, their tandoori chicken was so smokey and well executed. The butter chicken was very tomato based that day and the moist chicken breast was super tender. I appreciated the mint sauce, tamarind chutney, fruit salad and the rice "dessert". I don't recall the price, but it was about $24 plus tip/tax for lunch buffet now.

It's clear thought and care has been put into the experience here. We were seated immediately by the friendly host/server. We ordered the recommended Gobi 65 cauliflower appetizer, garlic naan, our standard Butter Chicken, and the house specialty Chicken Chettinad (all medium spicy on the 3-point scale we were offered). Everything was absolutely delicious. The Gobi 65 was pretty spicy relative to the other dishes but still soooo good. To our surprise the Chicken Chettinad was the standout dish and one we'd highly recommend (and would order every time we return). Excellent experience overall and a place we'll definitely include in the local rotation. Highly recommend!

This does seem to be a highly recommended place to eat Indian food in Surrey. I had the Non-Veg Thali, which isn't on the menu, but the waitress helpfully let us know about. It's very customizable - and I went with garlic naan, rice, two tandoori chicken pieces, lamb vindaloo, and shahi paneer - all in a single plate! Pretty much everything was excellent. I'm not even sure where to start. The garlic naan was fantastic. Soft, buttery, with just a slight hint of garlic and lightly charred on the outside. I could honestly eat this by itself and be satisfied. Garlic naan is a staple of what I order whenever eating Indian food, and this might be the best one I've had. The shahi paneer was also great; tomato-forward, creamy, and the paneer was super soft. The lamb vindaloo was a real standout. It was immensely flavorful - not lacking for spice at all - but you don't just taste capsaicin - you taste all the cumin, cardamom, and garam mixed in with the curry. But the lamb itself is the best part of the curry; it's so tender and juicy. The absolute peak, though, was the tandoori chicken. These were two large dark meat pieces, which were cooked to absolute perfection - retaining so much juice and fat. The skin was a perfect deep orange, seasoned with a ton more spices. It's like eating fried chicken but without the breading, but this was arguably even better. The masala fries were the only thing kind of a miss - as they lacked any masala. The price of the thali was only 23 CAD. That's a pretty insane deal for how much food you get - I was unable to finish everything on my plate despite being very hungry. Honestly two people could share this and be satisfied. When you consider how much sharing and new orders for bread, rice, and curries goes on at your typical Indian restaurant, this is crazy good value. Overall, I would classify this as the best Indian food I've had outside of Asia. 9.5/10
