Kristen to the rescue! Kristen came up on a random google search, promptly responded to my email and I crossed my fingers we ended up with some good photos. I could not have imagined what an absolute joy it was to meet her and what amazing memories she captured! It was a small backyard party but Kristen was so professional and thorough - it mattered as much to her as a huge wedding. She was amazing with the small children and even better with the nervous in front of the camera grandparents! Kristen took pictures of every detail, the "big" moments and more importantly the small moments. Having a baby during covid meant that we missed out on capturing some of his first year with family and friends. Thankfully I know have a TON of amazing photos that bring a huge smile to my face whenever I look at them (which is still quite often). One of the BEST decisions that we made for our June 2018 wedding was to book Alex and Jay. From the initial Skype interview, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, working with Idalia Photography was seamless and effortless. Alex was beyond friendly and professional throughout all of our communications by email and she was always available, flexible, and thorough every step of the way. On our wedding day, Alex and Jay worked seamlessly together and knew each other's every next move... I guess that's one benefit of a wife and husband team! They blended into the background most of the time, but also stepped up to give direction for certain shots and helped us to stay within our schedule as needed. Both Alex and Jay worked smoothly with our other vendors (if there were any issues- we didn't know about them!).
