I didn't ever meet any of his employees (so I can't speak to my experience with them), but I had a family go by one time while the crew was there--no complaints. Overall thoughts: Con: - I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get them because they were initially quite busy with a few big projects and it took a day or two to get word back on when they could start. I sensed this was probably a unique circumstance though because they had no problem immediately attending to some additional items I needed done after the first request. Pros: - Great price. - Dilligent work (they stayed on the project, coming back multiple times after the initial job for follow-on odds/ends things without scheduling me out). - Very trustworthy. My last big handyman job (a few years ago) the gentleman I used was very nice, and reportedly did very good work, but I came away not really sure if he had inflated some charges (in materials and labor time), so I came away with a bad taste in my mouth. Not the case with Fix It Handyman. I actually ended up paying a little less than the original bid because they were able to get some of the tasks done more quickly. - I didn't come away feeling nickle and dimed. They were honest, and generous--definitely gave me more 'extras' than they needed to. They definitely could have charged me more for some add on things I asked for, but they didn't. - Easy (flexible) payment (I paid with PayPal) - Competent--I asked for a variety of things: light demolition, plumbing, door installation, appliance installation, carpentry repair, etc. No reservations. No question, I would definitely hire them again.
