Kunz mower service is horrible. Stay away from them unless you want played. They do not help in any fashion. They are not friendly. They do want to answer some simple lawn mower question to help out a past buyer of one of their lawn mowers. I regret given them my business. If I had a review like mine to view I would have went else where for my mower purchase. I recommend Big R out on North Dirksen for any lawn care product needs or help. What a joke!!!!! I brought in mower because it wouldn't start and have the chord shortend again . I was told the length doesnt matter. Then why was I charged for this last time????? I was told to go get my former invoices. I did , then was told that the work I was charged for wasnt done there, eventhough I have invoices in my hand!!!!!!! Refused too look at my invoices , was called a moron. Great service if you like being overcharged for work that doesnt even matter. This place has gone so far downhill since Mr. Kunz died. His son is now running it and he clearly did NOT inherit the customer service skills of his father. Mr. Kunz used to give credit for trade ins. His son informed me he doesn't offer that anymore. No problem. I still bought a push mower from him but it wouldn't start so I took it back. I was told I must've tilted the mower improperly as I rolled it down some steps, something I did regularly with my old mower which, by the way, was the same brand that I bought new from them 15 years earlier. They got the new one started at the shop but when I got it home, it wouldn't start again. I called and said I wanted to return it. Son says he doesn't do returns on push mowers. So, I'm stuck with a mower that doesn't work when it hadn't even been on grass yet. They finally came and picked it up but I didn't hear back from them. When I called a week later, he said it was ready to pick up. I asked him to deliver it back to my house. That's when the guy went OFF on me and screamed that the problem was all my fault and he hadn't charged me a dime for fixing it. For a brand new mower. That hadn't even been used yet. SCREAMED at me. Clearly, there are some other issues at play here. Suffice it to say I will not be doing business with someone who screams at his customers, doesn't want to stand behind his products, and makes up new rules as he goes along. I feel sure Mr. Kunz would be unhappy to know the business he built from the ground up has sunk to this level. read more
