perhaps because of his large size he worked too slow to do a hand weeding job. when he was half way…read morethrough the job & had spent 2hrs on it i told him to quit because i didn't want to pay any more. he said he would finish the job & not charge me but he worked faster on his own time & did not do nearly as good of a job as he did the first 2 hrs. he was a nice man, phoned me when he said he would & showed up only about 5-8 min late. if he worked faster $20 an hr would have been a fair price. i told him to get all the weeds out of my vinca ground cover . i watched him for 5-10 min & it looked like he understood what i wanted. i have poor vision. my sister was here yesterday & she said there is another plant growing very thick in the vinca which is still there. i would not hire him again for hand weeding.
