The staff is so friendly and you are greeted immediately. We were quickly seated and the host made suggestions for a few popular menu items. After looking over the menu, our party placed a pretty large order. Everything was delicious and ready so fast! Pho, garlic noodles, shrimp tempura, pork dumplings... they even have a full bar. The hibiscus lychee margaritas were great! The server and host were helpful and kind and the food was just so good!! It was a Saturday afternoon and we were able to get in quickly and get seated. The veggies (broccoli, carrot, mushrooms, zucchini and onions) were cooked to perfection tender with a little firmness. The chicken was at times dry and overcooked. I could've ordered all veggies and been perfectly happy. There was a lot of rice. A lot. I'll be bringing home leftovers! Overall, I enjoyed Kumo. The fish was fresh, nice crunch from the wasabi peas, fresh, fruity flavors from the poke mix and the fun texture of the masago. For years, the main reason I came to tin drum was to get their Thai tea. They did away with it. Now they bait you with cafe du monde cans on every table but no coffee available. Bottle drinks are $2.95. Place is loud and echoes. The person taking orders does not acknowledge you. We thought for a minute we just had to put an order in on the screen that was looking towards the customers (us and the 6 people behind us). We started tapping the screen since the person behind it was clearly not capable of interacting with us, he turned the screen off on us. Yeah, I may try another location of Tin Drum to see if they had their tasty Thai tea but I won't be back to this one.
