I've been here twice since their grand opening. They had an awesome deal BOGO free from 6/25-6/27 so it was pretty hard to pass up on such a great offer. This location is quite smaller than the other chains I have been to in Chicago. However it's clean and service is quick and super friendly! The first time I came I was offered two mini samples of beverages- how sweet! The second visit they were out of passion fruit tea and informed me that it'd take a couple minutes to brew more or if I wanted to swap out to another drink which I thought was very kind of them. Anyway, they have a wide selection of classic, milk, slush, espresso and many more varieties of teas. You can modify your sweetness and ice level. My go-to drink is a 70% sweet passion fruit green tea with regular boba. Something basic, but classic. They do have plexiglass dividers and wear masks! 10/10 drinks 10/10 service 10/10 will recommend & come back :)

I got the taro milk tea, because I love taro and I just came to visit nc. When I got the taro it kinda looked weird.. it wasn't purple at all. It was a milky white. Literally look in the picture, and google "taro milk tea". You can Very clearly see it's no where close to it. I'm so disappointed in it. Even worse. It didn't even taste like taro. It was so bland compared to the real thing. If I could I'd give it 0 stars.

We even made it a mini date since we recently became parents, which made the outing special for us. The order took a while to prepare, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. When we received our food, the packaging seemed small, but I stayed optimistic. Unfortunately, once I opened my sandwich, I was disappointed. The portion of meat was very small, and the bread was quite thin. While the flavor was there, the portion size didn't meet our expectations. We also ordered a vanilla latte, which was very good and definitely a highlight. I would still recommend this place to family and friends, but I'd be sure to let them know that the sandwich portions are smaller than what we're used to at similar restaurants.

I've never had a business call me directly to get more info on my order and Tea Fusion Cafe did that! I ordered their Taro Milk tea and they were out of it. So, someone from the store called me to get another option and I thought that was REALLY cool. Most spots would just not send it or do anything. She was very nice on the phone and I really appreciated the extra care. I also ordered the tofu banh mi and it was perfection!!! So so so good!! I would definitely check this spot out again. Can't wait!!

On the afternoon/evening of 8/4/25 my husband and I came in. We ordered rose bubble tea, and lavender bubble tea, both large, oat milk, double boba. The second we came in we saw the girl peak her head out and rolled her eyes. "What do you want." With no energy and heavy attitude. I was polite and said my order. And she seemed upset about something on her mind. We decided to tip her I think 15-18% to see if it would make her happy or brighten her day. She didn't say thank you and she just turned around and walked away. I was not expecting her to say thank you for the tip, but I was expecting her to say thank you or your order will be out soon as a customer service note. There was another guy behind the counter/curtain and he mentioned something which made her go. "Oh well it's too late now, and then she shrugged her shoulders. " and we heard that as we left the building. Got home and within about 20 minutes my husband and I threw up. I have no idea what happened to these drinks, as the curtains are closed behind the counter. I no longer trust this place to make me SAFE food.

We had 6 in total for our party. I love the number of options that they have to offer and am glad they also had a variety of food. The wait staff was friendly and patient with the questions we had about our order. We did have to wait a while for our order of 7 deinks and 7 food items. The drinks came out first, then the ramen and then the noodles and rice. The drinks were delicious, and the galaxy teas were so pretty!! It was definitely difficult to select just one option to try. If you go with a large party and they're willing to share, I would definitely recommend going that route!! A must try spot if you're in the area.

Food came pretty fast, which I always appreciate when I'm dining in. Fresh rolls were typical - I especially enjoyed the thick sauce that came with it. Grilled pork was smokeyyy. Phew!! It was perfection *chefs kiss* The Korean one was equally delicious. I enjoyed the kimchi topping, but it was not my favorite type of kimchi. Cilantro aioli added to the sandwich was nice touch! Overall, it's a quick, delicious joint that gave me such a beautiful experience! I would absolutely come back here next time I'm in the area. As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie who's been steadily eating my way through Charlotte, I had…read morebookmarked Lee's Sandwiches and was excited to finally give it a try--and overall, it did not disappoint. The concept is refreshingly simple: a straightforward menu of banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls, chips, and prepared foods ready to go. They also offer beer on tap, traditional Vietnamese iced coffee and tea, and fresh fruit smoothies. No frills--just solid, approachable Vietnamese fare. I ordered the #8 Chinese barbecue (char siu) banh mi and requested light pâté and extra vegetables. The sandwich was made to order and came out quickly. One of the owners kindly let me know that pâté typically isn't included on that particular sandwich and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The sandwich itself was good, reasonably priced (around $8-9), and filling. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which delivered exactly the caffeine kick I was looking for. It wasn't overly sweet, had beautifully crushed ice, and came with a proper lid--not the plastic film seal you sometimes see at boba shops. Combined, the sandwich and coffee came to about $15, which felt like a great value. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a small tuk-tuk display with retail items, traditional Vietnamese decor like bamboo hats on the walls, and even a seating area with low stools that gives a nod to the street-side dining style you'd find in Vietnam. I also loved the creative touch of repurposed Café Du Monde coffee cans holding napkins and chopsticks--simple, clever, and memorable. One small note for authenticity seekers: as someone who grew up with traditional Vietnamese cuisine, I've been searching for the classic old-school imperial rolls made with rice paper that fries up bubbly, crispy, and slightly chewy. The owner confirmed what I've been noticing--that many restaurants in the Charlotte area adapt recipes to American tastes, so that particular style is harder to find here. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just an interesting cultural observation. For my personal taste, the char siu wasn't quite as rich or fatty as the Chinese barbecue versions I'm used to, and the pâté had a slightly bitter note. Next time, I'll likely try the lemongrass pork banh mi and skip the pâté altogether. Insider tip: This is a great spot for a quick, affordable lunch with authentic flavors and fast service. The iced coffee alone is worth the visit. Overall, a cute, well-run neighborhood shop with solid value, friendly service, and a menu that does a few things well. I'll definitely be back to continue exploring the offerings.
