The owner also threatened to " have no choice but to pursue it a little further" while not claiming any responsibility for the damages what so ever. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The clothes are still very affordable - $5-8 for a tee in about any color imaginable. I actually wore oversized, stretched-out t-shirts a lot back in my high school days. Was I cool then? No. And it's still not cool now. Other stuff is basic as it comes on the men's side. Jeans, pants, business casual looking stuff - jackets, slacks and button downs. Denim jackets, interesting underwear and their sock collection seems to be best of all. There is also a handful of accessories, mostly sunglasses. But I get sunglasses for free about anywhere these days. I think we ought to be on the cusp of a men's clothes revolution in the world.
