If it hadn't been for Yelp, we likely wouldn't have found it and I'm so glad we did. Stash Pad is a little off the beaten path but not by much. Once you walk through the doors it's like a blast from the past. While we were looking for a few specific items, we were also just browsing around looking for cool finds. Every few seconds you could hear a "whoaaaa" or a "wow" or a "hey, come look at this!" from a member in our group. They had a good assortment of vintage clothing, everything from dresses to hats and menswear. They also had a good amount of costume attire, including wigs. We were specifically looking for wigs to wear to a murder mystery party later that night and we all found exactly what we were looking for. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. If you live in the area and you're looking for unique items, a piece to complete your epic costume or simply perusing around for fun, definitely add Stash Pad to your list of shops to check out. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and they even had a little pop-up shop out front. So much character, we loved it!

I was working on putting various patches on a jean jacket and found a great Cleopatra one that now lives on that very jacket. I also saw that they will begin doing a 'free sunday' where all goods they put outside are free for the taking, so if you need something or want something, go check them out. There is lots of other shopping near by like CLTCH (jewelry and accessories) and Borris and Natasha (new clothes and accessories).

They're known for selling streetwear clothing, new and consigned items, via their online shop and through pop-up events held over the US. The Charlotte location opened recently. The shop has a small selection of pieces at this time for men but they are looking to consign and accept clothing for women as well. The consigned pieces are split between both rooms and the in-house new pieces from Fine Britches. In addition to clothing, they have some collectible streetwear accessories and art pieces like Bearbrick figurines and skate decks. Staff was enthusiastic and very welcoming. It's clear these guys are passionate about streetwear and offering everyone a chance to score something cool for a fraction of the price. It was great chatting with them about possible brands they could try to source and carry and the "Wet Grass" rug from IKEA x Virgil collection they have in the second room. (They had a friend wait in line very early in the morning on launch day to get one.) Parking options are street and paid lots. I did street parking and walked. Would definitely stop in again.

The owner was able to pop in too, so it was cool to meet her. The vibes? Y'all, they have the vibes. The inside is GORGEOUS. It smells amazing and is filled with genuinely friendly people. The retired teacher, sorry I forgot her name, was so sweet and told great stories. As for the experience itself, at first I was nervous about blending oils and trying to create something amazing. But once I got the hang of it, I swear I created the perfect scent for me. I won't ruin the details for anyone else, but the scent I ended up loving was one I never expected to like. I truly shocked myself with that realization. I did not do the instructor led class, but whenever we had questions, they were there to help. All in all, the high of that day is something I'll always remember. Despite the nerves, I created a beautiful scent, and even creating the name was special. This was such an incredible birthday gift, surprise, and experience.
