Follow up…read more.. Physicians do travel and don't stay at the same location and since I'm tied to a specific one for workers comp which he's usually here on the particular day I visited but found out later that he wouldn't be but there is a doctor that would be able to fulfill my appointment was great. This Kahala location is literally located right outside of Kahala Mall though to access their parking lot you need to drive into Kahala Mall back parking lot and there's a driveway that will take you to the back side of the building. Entrance there is just the stairs but the front is wheelchair accessible but either way it's a nice spot that can get crowded. Lovely spot that quite different as the waiting room seems like it's for both patients and folks waiting for them as there seems to be spots you can work on and single stall restroom for convenience the staff there is very nice and friendly and some are based here for all sort of paperwork so I did finally get to meet some of the amazing staff. Inside is very roomy and spacious and the quality care they give is very calming and thoughtful. I got my appointment done and I'm all set for the year love this location and it is my preferred area but I do hope that I don't need a visit any time soon. Thank you!

MinuteClinic is such a useful resource to get immediate health care. I know trying to get a…read moredoctor's appointment can take days, weeks, and sometimes even months, and by that time, it's useless to even go. Making an appointment is very easy. You can do it on the CVS app or the website. Times are usually available, and walk-ins are accepted as well. I managed to make an appointment on the same day. You check in at the kiosk, and just wait your turn. Valenso was the nurse practitioner who was there today. He was very friendly, personable, courteous, and professional. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease. You can come here for almost anything from minor injuries and illnesses to vaccines and injections to skin issues to earwax removal and then some. Overall, MinuteClinic is definitely useful. Super friendly staff. Clean and bright room. Very easy to make appointments for the same and next day.

I'm NOT a hypochondriac but I consider myself proactive about taking care of my health and…read morewell-being. That being said, I don't usually see my PCP unless I'm feeling like "Death is knocking on my door" and I always go in for an annual physical. This past weekend, we were experiencing a lot of rain and humidity which in Hawai'i, often comes with VOG, when the storm system comes from out South. So, when I woke this morning with some allergy symptoms, I decided to contact the CVS Minute Clinic instead of calling my PCP. The online process of contacting a CVS Minute Clinic was quick and easy. -Go to http://www.cvs.com. Select Minute Clinic. -You can look for the nearest site of Minute Clinic that is located in a CVS Pharmacy plus see what the waiting time is. -Make your selection and you will be assigned an appointment and a confirmation code. Your appointment time and code will be sent to your e-mail and phone (text). -Show up at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment to check-in at their dedicated kiosk. Of course, rather than scheduling an appointment, you can walk-in and they'll see you. However, just know that if you walk-in, those who have appointments will be seen before you. Today, I saw Reynard Nievera, ARNP, who was congenial and professional. He was thorough with his line of questioning as I described my symptoms. After taking my vitals, I told him that I was concerned that my symptoms were just due allergy to the VOG or possibly the onset of flu. Reynard took a couple of test samples and luckily it turned out that i was having allergies. He prescribed several medications which I was able to pick up from the CVS Pharmacy around the corner from this office. Also, I agreed to have follow-up calls to make sure the medications are helping to address and relieve my allergies. The Minute Clinic offers several programs that would augment those that your PCP would prescribe. Their business hours and locations are convenient (usually located inside a CVS store), especially if you're unable to get to your PCP on the same day. They even accept many health insurances. Go ahead and check online to see if you might be able schedule an appointment or walk-in to a Minute Clinic near you.

I took my 4 children to Dr. Daniel Buehler for almost 2 years, and I would not recommend him to…read moreanyone. 1. He was dismissive of legitimate concerns I had regarding my children 2. Did not even tell me when my daughter's blood pressure was dangerously low (I found out when I got the medical records) 3. Wrote INCORRECT statements and false quotes in my children's medical charts about concerns I had. For example, when I told him I thought my 5 year old had asthma he documented in the chart that I was sure he had asthma because I have it, and then proceeded to leave out my son's 3 ER visits for breathing trouble. He had multiple, documented ER visits where he received steroids and nebulizer treatments because HE COULD NOT BREATHE! At the ER they didn't send him home because I was "making it up", they quickly gave him breathing treatments because he NEEDED them. My mother, who has done family practice for nearly 20 years had seen and heard my son wheezing on many occasions. I told Dr. Buehler all of this and he left all this information out of the chart and instead falsely quoted me and made it sound as if I was trying to intentionally mislead him. To what end? Why would I make this up? He then refused to give him a prescription for an emergency inhaler at school because he said "school nurses don't know how to use them". This man treated me (and apparently nurses as well) like we know nothing. That was our last appointment with him. Mothers are the best advocate for their children's health, trust me, go to a doctor who cares about your child as much as you do. Whether a mother has a PhD or not if they tell a doctor their child is having trouble breathing as has been to the ER three times for this reason they should take that concern seriously. Even if he hadn't been to the ER it should have been taken seriously and he should have followed up. He did neither of those things. After we moved off island it took me over a year to get the medical records from his office, they wanted quite a bit of money per page and I had 4 children's well checks and sick visits over nearly 2 years (it would have cost nearly $200 to get the records from him and he would not email them). After a year of asking a kind receptionist finally agreed to put the records on a disc for me to have. When I read them I was very upset by what he had documented in the chart about the false information regarding "my concerns" and while I left every appointment with him feeling like all my concerns were dismissed, I could clearly read in the chart that not only did he dismiss my concerns, and my children's written records but he didn't take my children's health seriously at all.

I didn't know the first thing about finding a good pediatrician but after interviewing a few and…read moremeeting him I ended up choosing Dr. Buehler as my daughter's pediatrician. His office location is great as it's next to whole foods and long stores and kahala mall! So if I need to run a few errands after my daughter's check up the convenience is there. The ladies at the reception desk are really nice. There are times that I have a long wait even though with an appointment which can be frustrating when you're on a schedule. Dr. Buehler is very friendly and genuine. He even gives you his pager in case you have an emergency which he's fairly quick to return your call. There came a point when I didn't have insurance and he was nice to offer a discount for my daughter's visit. That shows that he's in his profession for the kids! I liked him so much that I even referred my friend who just moved on island. Even though they told her she couldn't get an appointment for 2 months, Dr Buehler told me to tell her to ask for him directly, which he then fit her in right away as her son needed to get his vaccinations!

This is a fairly new facility so it is clean. There were plenty of waiting chairs (several people came after me).
