While the tech that came out was very professional and easy to work with during the initial visit, the rest has been awful. Terrible follow-up with customer. Phone doesn't get answered, messages do not get replied to...terrible terrible service. Update: If I could give a negative star rating I would. Repair was finally completed on 12/21. (10 days after this review.) Again the techs that came out were professional and courteous. Office/owner - different story. We offered to pay the night repair was complete, but tech wanted to guarantee his work. He said he would be checking with us in a few days to make sure repair was holding. We let him know 12/23 all was good. He emailed invoice at 5:57 pm Friday night. (12/23/22). Mind you initial contact with this company was 11/28/22. Christmas Eve morning... yes on Saturday morning - less than 24 hours after receiving invoice, my gift opening with my family gets interrupted by a phone call about payment. Yes, I was less than pleasant and advised payment would be submitted but not over the weekend and especially not over Christmas. After waiting 24 days for service, I think 2.5 days wait to remit payment is not unreasonable, how about you? Had phone calls been answered and messages returned in a timely manner, it would not have taken over 3 weeks to take care of refrigerator. I received this nasty message about this review on 12/24. I sent a couple of replies. See photos. I 100% would not recommend using this company! The KSM Appliance Repair representative was able to come to my home on the day that I called and arrived at the time I was told he would be here. He was very polite, professional, and best of all, was able to fix my range quickly. Before leaving, he asked if there was anything else that needed repair. Off the top of his head, my husband asked him if he cleaned dryer vents. The KSM rep said yes, gave us a very reasonable price, and completed that project. We mentioned that we were headed out to purchase a new dishwasher, and he asked what was wrong with the current dishwasher. He said he could fix it, gave us a price, and not only saved us from having to purchase a new appliance, but saved us time we would have spent shopping for one and having it installed. We could not be happier with the service we received from this company! Great job! read more

KMS came out to service our failing HVAC at which time we were informed that it needed to be replaced. We knew it was time. KMS gave us a very reasonable quote that included equipment and installation. They had finance options in case we wanted to use them. We called KMS and ordered the new installation. He scheduled a day for installation and arrived with his team on time. They were very professional and worked diligently to get the new HVAC installed. They answered all of our questions and explained everything to us. They left our attic and home cleaner than when they arrived. Everything is working great! I could not be happier with KMS and I'm glad I chose KMS to purchase the new system from. Please give KMS a call if you need any service or if it's time to get a new unit. read more

Unprofessional company. First of all I had to call them multiple times because their phone kept cutting off when I was trying to make an appointment for refrigerator repair. . When I was finally able to make the appointment I called on the morning of the appointment to confirm and was told by the dispatcher that the technician would be at the house between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. At 4:05 pm the dispatcher called by said she had tried to call me (which she had not). She then told me the technician could not make the appointment because he was "stuck on the roof of a building somewhere". These people wasted my time as I had to take leave from my job for an appointment that the technician did not show up for. If I could give them 0 stars I would. read more

Our refrigerator died and Mr Sheppard came out to take a look. He not only diagnosed the problem, but told me exactly what to say when I had to call the repair line of the manufacturer. He could have just replaced the parts and charged me, but he took the time to be sure I found out if it was still under warranty (it was) and explained that he would void that warranty if he opened it up. He also left me detailed descriptions of the problem and the parts that should be replaced. This is true "old fashioned" service that you did not get in the world of today. I highly recommend KSM and I do not give 5 stars lightly. read more

What a great experience using KSM Appliance! I highly recommend their service. Mr. Kidd was extremely knowledgeable about my washing machine and because of the description that I had given while making my appointment, he was able to research the problem prior to coming to the house. Upon arrival he had an idea of what the problem could be, he ran several diagnostics and determined the exact issue. I ended up paying only the service charge for his visit. We absolutely love Kidd Sheppard and whomever answers the phone for him (wife? friend?business partner?) they are both very friendly and reliable and Kidd is not your typical generic mechanic. He doesn't have a problem explaining things to you and the 3 times we have had to call him for service he had no problem letting me watch/help and even taught me some general maintenance techniques that I didn't know first hand. I called KSM based on location and reviews. Kidd Sheppard came the same day, diagnosed the problem, returned the next morning with the needed part, charged a reasonable rate, and left me very pleased with KSM. I can't say the same about Samsung ice makers, but at least I now know where to get good service and repairs. read more
