The move here alone was already very expensive so needless to say I was jot thrilled about having to get a major appliance so quickly. Walked in on Friday afternoon after reading AAALLLLL of the reviews on this place and I have to tell you this was absolutely the best experience buying an appliance i've ever had! No haggling, no pressure, no upsaling like big box stores...... down to earth, simple, kind and genuine service was provided!!!! I was asked what I need, I was shown my options, light banter about gas verses electric, made my selection and was on my way out the door within 15 minutes. My dryer was delivered and hooked up the same day within 2 hours!!!! Excellent, excellent, excellent service and prices!!!! I highly recommend giving them a try.

It was coming loose and dropping down to scrape on the shield that covers the pulley thus making a heck of a noise. On the first visit, the repair person tightened the nut and all was well for a couple of months. Then, the noise again. I called them and said I was having the same issue and out he comes to do the same thing for another fee. A couple of months later and the same issue comes up again. This time, I told them to either use a nyloc nut or use red locktite on the threads or both to stop the nut from coming loose. He came out (third time) and tightened up the nut again. A couple of months later, same issue. This time I did the work myself. I checked the nut and it was loose again. There was NO evidence of locktite on the threads. I tightened the nut and used red locktite and am waiting to see what happens. BYW, I gave a review on George Jones website to the above affect and he did not post it. Guess he is only interested in positive reviews. I am not real upset with them but would have expected a price break or a phone call after their repair person failed to fix the problem three times. Probably won't be using them again.
