Walk past a ceiling-high glass wine display into the open dining room. Ornate chandeliers hang from the tiered ceiling, and fuchsia recessed lighting trims the perimeter. The off-white walls are left undecorated apart from a handful of flat-screens playing the news. A giant, ceiling-height TV at the far end of the room plays running ads for the seafood specials. We faced a 30-minute wait, and it felt like we won the lottery when the manager finally shouted out our number. Dim sum carts delivered steaming bowls to our table within seconds of sitting down. A helpful laminated menu at the table pairs each dish with a picture, helping prevent the experience from becoming too overwhelming.
