These two are past their 70's and instead of retiring, they continue to entertain audiences with their comedy magic routine. They've been doing this show at the Rio for 25 years now and have been magicians for 50 years. It's quite a legacy. A majority of the acts require a long set up of Penn explaining things and doing a bit of comedy. Almost every single act involves some sort of audience participation which is pretty cool. What Penn says is that they are magicians who don't do illusions so their whole value proposition is generally old school, classic magic involving a deck of cards. Their act is absolutely superb and will leave you guessing how they even pull off their magic. The only thing I found really odd is that they had asked for specifically a child participant for one of their acts but as the show went on, a bunch of the language used was definitely not family friendly. Overall, if you love magic shows, I would say that this duo is a must see.

The legendary Penn & Teller perform inside the Rio Hotel & Casino, and from the moment you step into the theater, the experience feels intimate and well done. The venue itself is comfortable and polished, and we scored excellent seats at a surprisingly great price. The show was outstanding, clever, highly engaging, and genuinely funny from start to finish. The magic tricks were impressive without ever feeling overproduced, striking the perfect balance between skill and storytelling. Penn and Teller's chemistry is effortless; they're sharp, witty, and incredibly likable. What truly sets the show apart is how they interact with the audience and keep the energy dynamic with a wide variety of tricks. Smart, entertaining, and refreshingly authentic, this is classic Vegas magic done right.

As soon as we sat down we became immediately chilled. The A/C was blowing full force from the vents in the wall behind us! Brrrr! It became so intolerable that my hubby mentioned our discomfort to one of the ushers. She kindly sat us closer to the stage on a nice cushioned bench. I couldn't believe that they made such nice accommodations for us! Mat Franco is very engaging and very family oriented. We enjoyed his magic show, which is family friendly. You could hear the kids let out oooohs and aaaahs throughout the show. We highly recommend this very entertaining show.

He currently resides in the LINQ where he performs in the Mat Franco Theater. Our team did an offsite in Vegas and for our social outing, all went to see the Mat Franco show. He's the perfect blend of humor, charm, and magical performance to keep you mesmerized, entertained, and laughing your head off for all 90mins of his show. Along with several pre-planned tricks, he also performs improvisation involving the crowd; so no two shows are exactly alike. If you're looking for a great magical act in Vegas, or just a great show to watch, I HIGHLY recommend coming to see Mat Franco!

The show was very energetic and interactive with the audience. It really blew my expectations with all the different dance genres and how hype they get the crowd. I highly recommend this show and it's clean and family friendly.

The show was reasonably priced, and our seats were very close to the stage, which made it even better. Before the show, there was an announcement that photography and video were allowed as long as no flash was used. I had planned to record with my mini Osmo camera, but later found out that video recording was limited to cell phones and not for the entire performance. Totally understandable--I respect not wanting to infringe on copyrighted material. After the show, we stopped by the merchandise store on the way out and decided to pick up some gear. One suggestion would be to add price tags to the clothing items so fans can avoid any surprise at checkout. I ended up buying a hoodie for my 8-year-old because he really wanted it, but finding out it was $150 at the register isn't the ideal moment to decide whether to purchase. It's not about the price itself, just the lack of clear labeling. I've been a longtime fan since their early days in San Diego when their merch was sold at the Armory--if you know, you know. Overall, it was money well spent for a great experience. Thank you for making my son's night so special.

One of my favorites was with the cards at our seats. I'm fairly certain I did everything of my own volition in my seat all the way back towards the exit so I was as shocked as everybody around me when the trick worked. I wasn't sure what to make of Shin Lim's way of speaking but his delivery was perfect for his sense of humor. Shin navigates each situation with self-deprecating and effortless retorts without sounding rehearsed. One of my favorite comments was a quiet "that's why we're here" when a participant back turned to the audience after asking if what she was doing was for the trick. The show is located in Palazzo, a short walk if one accidentally shuttles to the Venetian, but it would be better if you just go straight to the Palazzo. A fantastic show with fantastic sleight of hand. Would watch again!

Before the show someone from the back comes out and picks certain people who will be called on during the show. For Stuart McLeod, a very funny guy but a definitely scripted performance with the audience members he picks on. A staff member came out and talked to two people sitting behind us and we listened very closely as they were told that they would be chosen, the question they are going to be asked and what their response should be. Stuart throws two frisbees out to the audience and it's supposed to be random however, two kids were picked. One boy caught the frisbee and Stuart asked him to give it to the girl behind him which he did. Then Stuart asked her to pick a number between 25 and 100 and told her NOT to pick 67 but of course she did which went along with the number writing skit he did. Obviously it was not random but staged for the trick to work. Shin Lim, WOW!!! He had practiced long and hard to perfect his craft and he is amazing. Many tricks are easy to figure out as you can see how it comes to fruition. Tables are used through his act and most have a hidden area for him to grab things from underneath. Even though you can see his sleight of hand preparing to make the illusion happen, he is an amazing magician. Some tricks will leave you stunned and the audience members he picks I did not see them being prepped before the show so I believe they were unknown and saw the magic close up. Shin Lim is an amazing magician as I said and it's no wonder why he won AGT twice, FISM and is now in Vegas. He is a Vegas show worth going to and more than once, just a very cool experience. His wife is a part of the show, she does magic tricks as well which shows how talented she is as well as a trapeze ring act. She was really good and I only wish she would have been performed a little longer. Shin Lim had Mackenzie Sol who was in the top 24 of American Idol come out and sign some during his magic acts, Magic to Music. Mackenzie is a very good singer and it gelled well with the show. I would go see the show again as it was very entertaining. It started on time unlike most other Vegas shows and was an amazing 90 minute show worth seeing. I highly recommend this show. Yes you can figure out some of the magic being done if you watch closely, but the amount of prep and practice that Shin Lim has had to endure to perfect his craft, he is worth supporting. A very entertaining show! Go see Shin Lim and support him, he is one of the best shows I've seen recently.
