Over 30 minutes waiting for my food that was never brought out to me I had to go grab. And to the girl that gave me the wrong receipt so when I went back up there she tried to short me my $37 worth of food for like five dollars worth of food . Then she didn't know how to use the register she was rude as hell asked me if I snatch the straws because she was throwing them at me and then couldn't get my order correct and wouldn't give me the rest of my food this Has to be the worst service I have ever gotten at any establishment. This is why I haven't been here in a long time and probably will never go back. I just was there about 15 minutes ago and of course you gotta pay and then pull around the building when no cars are anywhere and no one eating inside after about 10 minutes the bring our food and we drive away because it is a sketchy side of town and people are staring at you in your car. We get home and bingo the did give us what we paid for. Too hell with this place. What ever you do ck your food before you drive away or better yet just save yourself some grief and money and just don't go. read more

Absolutely... Positively... The worst hamburger place I've ever eaten at!! The burgers reminded me of frozen White Castle burgers where you have to a scrape off all the sogginess in the bun. It was beyond disgusting!! Me and both my boys agreed on this. I don't even know how this place stays in business. Can't image people actually like eating their junk burgers which they serve. My 11 year old would not even eat the fries either. Said they were the grossest French fried he'd ever eaten in his life. We'd never heard of this place before since we are new to Florida. Figured we'd give it a try since we'd seen a few of them around. Huge mistake!! We didn't even finish the food, instead tossed the rest into the trash can, as it was soooo gross! We had to go get food elsewhere after we left since theirs was too gross to eat. Plus the fact that they are pretty pricy for the size food they serve. Most disgusting food I've ever had! The fries were so hard I couldn't eat them. The burger buns were so hard , not sure if it was bc they were sitting out for hours, the bread was old or what. The meat looked nasty as if it was sitting out for a long time. The girl that took my order kept making weird noises as if she was going to spit up a nougie. This restaurant is in the ghetto. The restaurant was filthy, floors and tables were ticking and disgusting to touch. The service was worse. Placed my order (10 Crystals & 2 Lg fries), paid and then the waiting started. I watched as 2 other customers came in, ordered, got their food and were eating before I got my order. Cars coming and going through at the drive-thru and still nothing. Cashier said something about forgetting to put my order through and apologized for the wait. After another 20 minutes I got burgers and cold half filled fries. This will be the last time here. The food is not good enough to warrant this kind of treatment and the filthy restaurant. Did forget to mention the homeless people begging in the restaurant. Was asked for money twice, nothing against the homeless, they have to eat too, just don't beg the customers for money in the business. read more

It took 15 minutes to get my food. Then I did not know had to ask for my cheese to go on the burger. The whole square of cheese was in the bottom of the box. $16 for ten cheese krystals and a large coke. I could have had a steak for that. read more

First, not counting the wait from the menu to the window, it took 14 min to get my food. I ordered Krystal Chiks and a soda. I asked for ketchup too. The girl at the window was not friendly at all. 4 min of sitting and she asked me to pull to the front of the store. 4 minutes after that I had to move my car bc where she had me pull was blocking people in. I pulled to the side for another 6 min. Finally she brings me my food, but forgets the ketchup and had to go back for it. I am expecting fresh hot food at this point. The chiks were not hot at all, one had a wet soggy bun, there were no pickles, barely a drop of mayo on each chik, and one was so old and tough that I couldn't eat it. The young lady also made sure not to give me a receipt so you can't complain or verify you paid the right amount. To finish it all off, Krystal used to have delicious white meat chiks and now they have cheap pressed meat. All in all this was the crappiest fast food I've had in a while. If negative stars were a thing I'd give this store a negative 4 stars. read more

I have been craving White Castle but I know I can't get it down here in FL and they closed the Krystal's near me so I was excited to find this on on my way how from Orlando. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed! One of the workers was outside sitting on the curb on his cellphone. When I walked it the place was EMPTY with the exception of the 3 girls working....no no no I'm sorry chatting and yapping. Ordered, got in my car and the burgers were not fresh. As I remember, there was more bun than burger. But what made it awful was that the buns were hard a concrete. I'm sure this location won't be up much longer either. My hope is that White Castle will make it way down to FL. read more

Read my prior review(2) to note that you can have really bad experiences here. But my 2016 visit was a different experience and deserves the kinder review. First time in drive-thru line, a crazy lady was in front of me with some drama about her not getting a custom order. She refused to leave the speaker box so I had to leave the line to get to an appointment. (Always be careful in this parking lot with loiterers, etc) Upon my return, I got the drive-thru to myself. The window clerk was wonderful. the krystal burgers were on fresh buns that melted in your mouth with that lovely dill pickle atop it. The clerk said you could order krystals for breakfast and gave me her number to call ahead to order them since they take 6 minutes to cook. If Krystal Burger were like this every visit, it would be my favorite 5-star fast food frequent stop, rather than an "iffy" once a year "gamble" treat! read more

We have been to this Krystal's about 4 times and each time we have been told it's a 20-30 minute wait! This last time we went inside and waited for 15 minutes, no one was in line and drive through wasn't busy, no one ever greeted us even though at least 5 employees made eye contact with me. As soon as we were walking out finally someone said we will be right with you. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend going to this particular establishment!!! read more

This just might be the worst place I have ever gone to. First of all, I waited 15 minutes in the drive-through before even getting a greeting that was "thank you for choosing Krystal I will be right with you". Then they proceeded to take the oder of the car that pulled up after I did. I waited a total of 37 minutes in the drive through, and the food was horrible. My burgers were just thrown together by some greasy guy in the back. And the customer service on top of all this was just horrible. I had to be pulled up because they didn't even know what I had with my order. The lady working the window was rude and had no sense of work ethic or cleanliness. Went here and ordered 4 triples "off the grill". When we got them, there was pickle and mustard on them. Took them back and they were corrected. Not the prettiest of burgers being that the patties weren't even remotely stacked on one another. Finally, the restaurant was a mess. They weren't busy. Only two other patrons there. Unfortunately, I cannot give this place negative stars. This is the place to go if you want the all you can eat burger. Their overly processed meat is delicious you know but I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Also, if you want to wait a total of 1 hour and 6 minutes for a total of 6 burgers when you can ask many times for another order and they still won't bring it to you then you'll be taken care of here. I came all the way to Lakeland to be utterly disappointed with the service. But hey, what can you expect from people who don't give a crap about their jobs or the people they serve? Food was ok I guess. The service needs to get it together. Sat at the speaker in the drive thru for at least a minute before being greeted ( with only one other car in the drive thru, which was already at the window.) placed my order and felt a little rushed, only to get up to the window and see them dancing and what not?! So your too busy to greet someone right away in the drive thru, but not too busy to stand at the window and dance?! All I can say is you can try and take the ghetto out of Krystal by reinvention but it doesn't help much when you keep ghetto employees. read more

I ordered the Tailgate special 10 Krystal's and 10 wings. I asked for cheese on three of the Krystal's, I knew it would be a little extra which was no problem the employee told me it was $10.60 I get to the window and I asked her to make sure cheese was on three of the Krystal's as my mom prefers cheese on hers. She confirmed and told me my total was $11.41 ok not a big difference I paid and was asked to drive around as they had to cook my wings great right? Approximately 3 or 4 minutes later food comes out I leave. I make it home in under 5 minutes. Get in the house no cheese on any of the Krystal's so I call and the gentleman that answers the phone without a greeting so I asked was this Krystal's he replied yes and I informed him of the situation and his question to me was "are you sure?" My mom didn't want me to return the food so we proceeded to eat. The Krystal burgers were ice cold and the wings I waited for them to cook were at best room temperature. If I could go lower than 1 star it would definitely be lower. Disgusting and ruined my appetite. read more

One of the best Krystal Burgers I've ever been to. Fast, courteous, good and they got my order right, which is allot more than I can say for the other fast food restaurants in this area. The only problem I had with them was, I spent almost 18 bux to feed me, my wife and our 2 1/2 yr old. What the heck happened to 25 cent Krystal's?!!! Guess those days are long gone. My advice is don't buy drinks or fries and get a sack full! Much cheaper!!! read more
