Krystals is the other "must" on my list (mostly nostalgia, not because it's a 5-star restaurant) when traveling home about every 6 wks. It used to be a coming and going thing, but this location is slowly making it a thing of the past. My trip home in March, I was early - before lunch - and stopped to see if they would still serve a Krystal burger. I was told this could be done, so I ordered 2 burgers. On the road, I discovered, the buns were soggy - and I don't mean grease, I mean it seemed like they were dunked in the steam table water on one side then put into a sandwich. It was rather gross. My trip home on Mother's Day weekend found me going through the drive thru for 2 burgers, only to find out the drive thru was closed. Inside, I placed my order, then went to the restroom. When I came out, the manager on duty acted like he forgot my order and threw 2 Krystals in a bag. In my car, as I ate, I realized I was in for soggy again...not steam table soggy, but not Krystal quality of yester-year. The location itself always looks unkempt, and the service on Sundays is typically very slow. There are a couple of other locations that are in the vicinity of my drive though a little out of the way. I guess I'm going to have to search for a good Krystal, though I'm not going to do it for long. read more

Horrible service, all of the employees were obviously on something! They openly talked about what they did or "didn't" have in their possession. I ordered through Uber Eats $140 order and an hour and a half later I changed my order from delivery to pickup because it was taking so long. When I got to the restaurant they had not even started my order and then proceeded to tell me that it will take an hour before it's ready!!! I'm furious!!! I requested a refund because again $140!!! To then be told by the restaurant that I have to contact Uber Eats for a refund and when I called Uber Eats then told me that I had to get a refund from the restaurant. This is quite possibly the best Krystal I've ever been in. We stopped midafternoon with three kids on a road trip. We were treated kindly and staff were so friendly with our kids. The place was clean and had just been mopped and trash had been emptied. The food was properly prepared and warm. My husband always orders his burgers with no onions and most Krystal's don't try too hard to satisfy his request. Our whole order was correct, including his no onion request! read more

The ladies working there were nice enough. I got a 12 pack of Kristals with cheese in the drive thru. All of the burgers had burnt dehydrated onions. Just gross. I mean really burnt. The patties were also very dried out and almost hard. There is no reason to serve burnt dehydrated onions, unless the grill is nasty, and not being cleaned. I've stopped in the Hattiesburg Krystal on the way to New Orleans several times. The service is always very good, especially for a fast food place. Today was no exception. The food, though, isn't as good as it used to be even a couple years ago. That said, I still recommend this place as a good place to get a quick meal. read more

6/19/19. Wednesday afternoon. My family hit this Palace of Deliciousness on the return trip home to Shreveport, Louisiana from our lovely vacation in Orange Beach, Alabama. We wanted to eat somewhere quick, cheap, clean, and hopefully tasty! We hit here and we hit it hard! And as far as that aforementioned checklist? Checks across the board, my good friends!! This place nailed it!! Served so very quickly, as we dined inside, those piping hot little Krystal burgers are the things dreams are made of, for real!! The manager on duty was on point with super friendly vibes and he even wiped our table down before we were seated! We got a Sackfull (12)! And some fountain sodas (Coke products!!! YAAAAAAASSSS!!!) And we DESTROYED that dozen with minimal effort!! Hardly a sliver of onion remained!! I WISH there was a Krystal in Shreveport!! You folks in Hattiesburg have NO IDEA how good you got it, having this Krystal right here!!! Terrible service! After waiting 20 minutes for the food I ordered from the drive-thru I went inside. After seeing the way the staff was making the burgers, I asked for a refund. I waited around ten minutes after my request and no one helped me (there was only 1 other customer in the lobby who told me he had been waiting 10 minutes to order) so I left without a refund or food. I estimate I was at Krystal for over 30 minutes (and the food was never finished in that time). When I contacted Krystal on their website for a refund I was told to come back to the store. I live over an hour away and have not received a response to my last email requesting a refund. So they took my money, didn't give me the food, and won't give me a refund. BTW I witnessed a car accident in the parking lot while waiting. The location and surrounding area is deteriorated in general. My wife was very uncomfortable. read more

walked past expecting a normal experience, but when we went through the drive-through the worker could not understand one word we said, and she had to get the manager. The manager got very angry at us that we wanted to remove some thing because it was cheaper if we got it separately and we pull up no one behind no one is behind us, go to the parking lot overall, this experience was one of the worst I've had with a fast food place. They have the slowest line in a drive thru of any Krystal in the United States and if Krystal is international probably in the world . I'm here at 10:45pm no one is in front of me hardly took them 15 minutes to take my order and I'm 10 minutes into this with the three cars in front of me looking like 15-30 minutes wait I'll probably drive off but they make cheap warm up burgers not steaks or lobster it's ridiculous to say the least.
