This is my second time at this business, the first was a Brazilian wax that was surprisingly only…read moreminor pain. Today I did a chin wax, my first eyebrow threading and for fun, ear waxing. The eyebrow threading was totally different than I expected, it was like the rolled the thread to remove the hairs. During some parts I was asked to pull the skin to allow better access, required both my hands. It wasn't painful but I did feel twinges 2-5 minutes after it was all done. I loved the results. I have no idea if it's better or worse than eyebrow waxing but I was there for a new experience so didn't really care. Again, the results are just as good as waxing. I then went for the ear wax pull, I'd read about it but wasn't sure how real it was. At the end of the day the straws had ear wax and honestly, the ear that I heard the most sizzle had the most ear ax in the straw. It didn't give me super hearing but it was interesting to do and see. I'll definitely return for eyebrow threading and maybe a facial next time too.

I'm headed on another trip in 2 weeks...definitely getting the fill and keeping it moving. Seriously...no chips, peeling or anything! Olive nails is my go to mani/pedi/brow wax place. I usually get clear for my natural nails but today a customer gushed over powder nails so I tried it. I've tried gel and glue on nails and neither worked for me, it was before Olive nails but I'm scarred. I'm still down to try something new when it comes with customer recommendations and the person next to me gushed over her powder nails so I gave powder a try. It was a process. I added a little nail length and then it was polish dip, polish dip multiple times and then shaping and final clear polish on top. The powder is the actual color, that surprised me, glad I went with something neutral to me because it'll go with everything. I'm headed to a music festival this weekend so will update you when I return. I like how it turned out and it looks so natural too. Olive nails is always great service.

I got the highest level pedicure with gel polish and manicure with gel polish. I had dip powder from another spa, so while I got my pedicure, I soaked my fingernails in the solution then rubbed them a bit with a paper towel to expedite the manicure process. I didn't mind helping because I realized that the pedicure I picked was longer than I anticipated and I had a hair appointment across town afterwards. The pedicure was good. The manicure was good. I'm in love with the clear sparkly polish I picked and will likely make it my staple nail look. Cindy made the experience very pleasant with the conversation and compliments. I look forward to my next visit in a week or two. I don't know who I will get next, but so far everyone has been great.

Nail Tech: Hannah Natural Nails…read moreI would not recommend this shop to anyone. This was the worst manicure I ever had in my life. The tech actually used a drill for my cuticles and nippers around my nails. She took a chunk of skin off my finger near the top of the nail. I didn't realize it until I left the shop. I washed my hands and my fingertips started burning. I looked at my fingers and saw the horror. She chopped away skin all around my nails. I went back to the salon to show her how she broke my skin, and the butched skin around my nails, she said I had a hangnail at the top of my nail. Here it is 6 days later and I still have swelling, and soreness around my cuticles and nails. (Hannah and two other male techs tried to tell me to put vaseline on my fingers. I've actually have been using Neosporin. They're quick to say no refund, even before I asked for one. ) They are overpriced and did not give the service which was advertised. Part #2 I will be reporting this salon.to the Florida Department of Health or the DBPR.

When I told him it was stinging, he put baby powder on them, instead of a cooling agent or corn starch. The baby powder aggravated it more. The next day, I came back & showed him. Instead of having the decency to apologize & take ownership of his mishap, he was indifferent & only said that it's never happened before. I demanded my money back & got it. As I was leaving, a female employee stopped me, & on her own, gently put Neosporin on them, which is what should have been done by him at the time of injury. She apologized & seemed embarrassed at his irresponsibility. The customers who saw how swollen & I flamed my eyelids were, were shocked at his indifference. I had to go to work like this & these effects lasted for days until they healed. I am a licensed esthetician & will never recommend this place for eye waxing because of this owner.

I was hoping I was wrong, but I wasn't. I went back this past Tuesday. My fill in was uneven but I didn't complain. By Wednesday I had 1 nail lifting. I returned to the show them and after a 30 min wait, the tech re-did it. (Only after saying that I broke made it lift by being rough) By Friday night, 1 nail broke completely and today is Saturday and another has broken. I am super pissed. I barely made it 1 week this time around before my nails are breaking apart. I won't return no matter how nice the people are.

She does not return calls or text yet while I was there, but she was always on her phone. On the touchup visit, I mentioned that she didn't tell me the price. I still wanted the service but she'd rather argue with you than to just say something like "oh I'm sorry I forgot to mention that do you still want the service?" and move on. I didn't feel comfortable after that discussion and I will not be back. I would suggest you go to someone else.
