I tried all their IPAs and they were all good. Nothing like the Best West or East Coast beers in the US, but all were local (or European), and I appreciated the efforts to offer local Swedish IPAs. I was there before dinner, so ordered just an appetizer. I had the been tartare, and it was terrific. They provides all the ingredients (raw eggs, onions, capers, etc.), and the beer was very fresh. I appreciated they allowed us to carve out one person's order from the rest of us (he did not drink) and then we could split the bill easily with the server's help.

Dark and mood-setting lighting, cow patterned couch cushions, brick walls and copper plated bar - this place stands out and isn't tacky at all. Hamburgers are affordable, made to order (naturally) and perfectly grilled! A bit too greasy maybe - the plastic wrap had a pool of meat juice in it when I was done, so the bread got kinda spongy - but that's the only thing I could complain about. Fries was an odd combination of different sizes (like they had mixed several different brands) but I didn't care because they were seasoned to perfection and there was a little cup with dip that made them even better! Water is free (even sparkling) but if that isn't your preferred drink they have a HUGE selection of more or less rare/exclusive beers to offer! The restaurant is a bit off, but it's almost worth a trip in itself! If this place was in central Stockholm they would give all the other burger joints a run for their money.

It really is an experience and being immersed in a culture and style is fun. Seating is limited so be sure to make reservations. Not a big fan of seating family style (with other families) and it is extremely warm inside. You may be put on the spot so if you are shy or introverted this may not be the experience for you. But otherwise, its definitely worth the fun. FOOD: Good but not great. Not a whole lot of variety. Various meats all cooked just right are available. Few side dishes and all root vegetables. We shared the Rurik's Feast so we would get a variety of meats and it was good. I really liked all three meats and it was worth it for the cost. I do wish there were different root veggies like potatoes. I don't know much Viking history so not sure how authentic, but they did have a nice variety of options. They did have risotto for the vegetarians (sure that wasn't part of the Viking staple!). SERVICE: Loved the music. Loved the atmosphere (except for the heat). Loved how friendly and nice everyone was. Service and plating were A+. COST: It was definitely worth it for the volume of food and the experience. Like I said, probably wouldn't come back, but definitely recommended for anyone who wants a fun and memorable night. Definitely worth doing once.

We tried an awesome infused beer with coffee & coconut (truly delicious) and a few others. If you're American, this is a legit place to come and check out some good quality non-American beer. The bartender was super friendly. We saw others ordering burgers, which looked great. I'd give this place 5 stars, but generally don't do that if I'm just stopping in once for a quick couple drinks. Would highly recommend, though!
