BUYERS RUN !!!! These people need to be closed down! Just read all the reviews.... ( Not the ones they wrote themselves or probably paid somebody to write) skip right to the 1 star reviews. Nightmare from the start. Making promises they don't keep, installers they must have hired from the street & owner "Giovana" who cannot even step up and take responsibility for her companies screw up's. Giovana obviously could give a rats ass about her customers!!! That has been made clear from the start. As you can clearly see on the few reviews that she did take time to reply on, she just makes excuses and turns the story around and around to get out of her company screw ups! Oh, they are very good about convoluting , diverting and claiming false statements about what's really going on as well. I could go on & on, but all the reviews pretty much cover what my friend is going through. Ps. I've been in the remodel business for over 20 years.... I've never seen such a pathetic company like this be able to stay in business. 1. Seam looks like 2 school kids did it with a plywood cutting saw!!! ( terrible chips and jagged edges filled with caulk to try to hide ) Didn't even use the proper equipment on the joint and just had 2 guys get at the end and just push it together. GOOD LORD!!! This is 2024 , they have all sorts of technology & equipment out there. You should barely see the seam! 2. Faucet placed wrong so you can't even turn the handle all the way back because it hits the window sill to get stream of hot water. 3. Sink cut-out is not square / overhang in sink is not consistent and.. Chef Sink accessories won't even fit! 4. They didn't use the under mount sink kit that came with the sink. There are gaps where the sink meets the countertop and water can easily get through there and leak into the cabinet. They sent a guy out to look at everything and he agreed that it was terrible workmanship and should have been done without a Seam. Then, they sent another guy out making me think that he was going to address all of the issues. Come to find out, he was strictly sent with instructions to "patch" the seam although the company was fully aware of the multitude of issues as listed above. The gentleman even shared that he makes them pay him in full ahead of time because "he knows he's going to get paid that way" . He agreed that it would be a waste of time for him to patch up the shoddy seam since so many other issues are existing. Of course this all got turned around by a Giovana as "the worker was restricted from doing the work" ! The request was made for Giovana to come out herself to assess and see what a mess her company had made, her response was that she doesn't come to the homes and that also, " any further trips out will require a trip charge because of the previous trips" She is now sluffing this off as a " Cambria" warranty issue !!! This is preposterous!!!!! ****Not sure if others have retained an attorney to make things right, but my friend is definitely going that route now. People need to speak up and put these people out of business so that future unsuspecting customers won't have to endure this nightmare. This is my first review of many to be posted. I'll summarize the many issues; installation was almost 2 weeks later than Giovanna stated, installation was done at 7-11:30 pm, several pieces were cut incorrectly, photos of subpar installation sent in were unanswered, drywall was damaged 2 feet above the counter top area on both walls, installers returned to complete job with no prior notification (showed up and said they were here to complete job). There was no communication as regard to scheduling, no explanation for the delay in installation, and no response of the texted photos. I found out about Kroner while I was shopping around for a new kitchen counter top. Me and my husband have a fixed budget for kitchen project but after some upgrades here and there, we realized don't have much room for a counter top. We almost did not want to change our counter top after all our corian is still very durable- if its not older than me and the new kitchens I saw from home viewing, I would not want to replace our kitchen counter. After shopping around in several stone houses on OBT, I realized how challenging it is to find a cutter then an installer. I found out that I could save some money if I can find a stonehouse who can also cut and install. I found one company who is located 20 miles away unfortunately, even though I chose a lower end granite I was still quoted over alot. Luckily, Kroner ad popped on my laptop screen and I requested a call. The next day I received Giovanna who was very helpful . Fortunately their showroom is just on 17/92 which is not far from where I live, so I went there with a sample of my newly painted kitchen drawer and my chosen backsplash. Giovanna who I previously spoke with accomodated me by showing their different slabs. And even though there was a miscommunication when I showed up, Giovanna still followed up with me the following week. Within 3 weeks time, I chose which one I wanted, I paid the deposit, someone came over to my house and measured my kitchen, and the next week my new counter top was installed. It could have been faster if I made chose which calacatta I would go with and which template I would approve. One month after my new kitchen counter is installed, I am still a happy customer. I will continue to choose Kroner USA for my future counter top projects. They are reliable, local small family business owners and the price is very competitive and quality is top notch. read more

Horrible!! The installers left my house very messy. I picked up water bottles and trash that they left. They did not bring any tools, so I let them use mine and then they stole my drill. I had to text the company three times before they got their staff to return it. This was a very bad business decision. I am happy with the granite choice but I made that so I can't even give them that. read more

If zero Stars was an option I would choose that. Giovana (owner) is a complete liar, and her staff as well. We spent $17K with this company for countertops and backsplash. Countertops came The installers dropped the slab for the island and it chipped. It is now rounded where the installer hit it with a grinder and the filler he used is much duller finish than the rest of the slab. They also cut my walls and my refrigerator surround to install after they "templated" with a laser. In the process they cut the water line(not even an apology from Giovana (And I was expected to fix) . For our "excellent experience" they then sent the template maker out to redo the backsplash measurements. 3 weeks later still, can't get a simple answer to when we will get backsplash or repairs/replacement to the damaged product, some bullshit about elegance and perfection and we will be so happy with finished product, and blah blah blah. Avoid these fuckers, have pics of the damage and the @www.sprectrumquartz.com. you should dump them as a distributor. damages your brand read more

We went to get a quote. Picked out our granite. Yami had us go home measure everything out and draw diagrams of what we needed. She said to text it to her cell. We did that almost a week ago. We also sent it to their email, and called them only to get voice mail. No responses to anything. So if they are non responsive to getting a job, I can only image how they would respond to issues. read more

I read and also write reviews on companies I do or plan to do business with, I was obligated to give Kroner USA a 5 star rating because they deserved it. From the time we walked into the showroom we felt comfortable and there was never any pressure to buy, we were given our options by Giovanna and went home to consider them and we also shopped around. We decided to purchase our granite kitchen counters from them, the entire project was exactly two weeks start to finish, remember there is an initial appointment for a template to be drawn with a laser. Granite has to be cut, installed and then another template made for back splashes. Granite again had to be cut. the two tier system in my opinion takes a few days longer but eliminates the possibility of a piece cut in error. Also we were located about an hour south from the Store, so it wasn't convenient for either of us to just drop by. I cannot praise the installers enough, they were very courteous worked hard and did an outstanding job both times they were at our home. Pros: Great selection, helpful staff, very friendly. Prices were in line with the several other companies from whom I received quotes. I chose Kroner because they had a very distinctive quartz that seemed perfect for my new kitchen. Cons: Sloppy installation. It took two trips by repair people to improve the new countertops. This took 3 weeks and delayed our project. Cut out for kitchen sink was extremely close to the wall, and made installation of the faucet very difficult. Cut outs for bathroom faucet and handles (8" widespread) were also too close to the wall, as well as being unevenly spaced. We had to install the handles on an angle instead of parallel to the wall in order to be able to shut them off completely. Miscellaneous Con: I was told that the two full slabs of quartz that were required for the kitchen would not be enough to also complete the (small) bathroom vanity. I put a 50% deposit on a remnant for the bathroom in order for them to save it for me. When the time came for fabrication, Kroner had sold the remnant. However, "magically" there was enough material from the kitchen slabs to do the bathroom as well. Not impressive (unless pumping their sale with unnecessary material is considered "impressive"). You must pay *In Full* before they will install the countertops. If there is a problem (and there likely will be) you have NO LEVERAGE. All-in-all, I would NOT recommend doing business with Kroner. They are extremely good at saying whatever they need to in a given situation, and they sound very sincere. Don't believe it. read more

After shopping around for counters we picked Kroner not just for the selection but for their attention to detail & their communication was the best! Sissa worked around my work schedule & al was done in a timely manner. The installers were on tie , neat & cleaned up before they left. I would recommend them & would not hesitate to use them again! Dave does not communicate well with clients or others employees involved in the project, resulting in many mistakes, slowing down the process and pricy changes. They are not able to deliver what was agreed on. The price for our counter almost doubled, as Dave is not able to determine correctly how much material is needed. They also damaged my front door while bringing the slab in. They are not responsible for damages, their contract excludes any liability. Expensive, slow, rude and poor quality. I purchased kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops from them, I decided to do my own cabinet installation to save some money which went perfectly. After the installation where everything went horribly wrong. First, they don't understand that most people have a job and cannot leave when they call. The girl that did the templating called me 20 minutes before she showed up at my house. I was lucky because my wife was home and I work only 30 minutes from my house and my boss was ok with me leaving early. I tried to explain that they need to give people more time, but it is like talking to the wall. The day before the installation at 3:00 pm they call me that the installation is tomorrow or 3 weeks from that day again no advanced scheduling. I had to take a day off from work, so I don't have to wait 3 weeks more. The installers show up the next day to do the installation. I noticed that he was on the phone right after the first piece was put on the cabinets. I did not think it was a big deal until he started cutting the drywall out. At this point, I asked why he is cutting out the drywall and he replied because it doesn't fit. I asked if we remove the drywall will it fit? He told me yes. Well, it did not fit but now I had a large gaping hole on my kitchen wall which they refused to fix. In the end, all 3 pieces were cut incorrectly and did not fit. One was too small and 2 of the countertops were too big. I called the office immediately and of course; I got the answering service and they refused to call me back. In the middle of the project, they switched to an answering service which shows me that they don't want to talk to all the mad customers. Finally, after a few days, I get an email that they will have to come out to remeasure the kitchen to find out what happened. In the end, they found out that the person who cut the slab messed up and they will have to replace it. But before this happens, they tried to talk me into fixing it by gluing a piece to the countertop which I refused. So, the wait started all over again, had to wait 3 weeks for the replacement countertop and they pulled the same trick but this time they called me at 4:30 pm that the installer will be at the house tomorrow or 2 weeks from that date. I would strongly suggest staying away from this company believe a word that comes out of their mouth one more thing read the contract because they require full payment before installation which leaves you with zero recourse after they mess up your kitchen. The only thing good I can say about them is that in the end they replaced the quartz, but all the headache is not worth it. read more

Yea, like other reviewers stated, stay away from these guys. Low quote but then added extra cost later on. Charged extra $500 to remove old countertop and sink and broke the cabinets doing so. Nailed a freaking 2x4 into the cabinets to fix it. Asked to have dishwasher brackets installed but they weren't. Now they won't do it because it wasn't in the quote. Trim around my door was notched because the granite wasn't cut right. The owner and his family seem like great people. I think the problem lies within the people doing the actual work. Maybe under paid? Who knows. If you want a good installation, look elsewhere. read more

I Called her she said they were too busy and shorthanded , she gave me some song and dance story that didn't make any sense. She said I will come over right now She never showed up. My boyfriend, Chris, recently (last week) had new counter tops installed and Kroner put in the wrong sink (top mount instead of under mount), explaining to him, on the eve of installation, that this was the only sink that would work. The morning of the installation, he found out the reasons they gave for installing the the top mount sink weren't true! Very unhappy! Kroner would not work with us even though we contracted for an under mount sink!! read more

Do Not do business with this company. I purchased 6 counter tops. Two of the counter tops were the wrong length. Instead of replacing them with a the correct size of quartz, Kroner moved my cabinet which caused a 1/4" gap between the top and the bottom of the cabinet. The second counter top caused a 1/2" gap between the slide in stove and the counter top. Alex did not return my phone call when I explained that his "solution" did not work. Speaking to Dave (who I ordered from) and the installation team said there was nothing they could do to resolve the problem. read more

Stay away from this company! They created a nightmare of a mistake and ended up damaging my quartz. It was a drag-out fight to get them to replace it. Which they did eventually, but I had to get other parties involved and threaten a lawsuit. Throughout the whole ordeal, one of the owners, Giovanna was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. They even wanted to make their installer pay for the mistake out of his pocket. Not a good way to conduct business. Also, their Google reviews are full of fake reviews that they are paying to receive. You can easily spot this by cross-referencing the profiles of people who are posting these reviews also post for the same 3-4 companies. Shady practices all around. They have no ethics. read more

I walked in to Kroner after going to several other granite/quartz counter top places in the area and found a color that I absolutely loved, but was only sold by the whole slab. I left, shopped around a bit more got some quotes, went back to Kroner got a written quote on June 16th for 2091.73 which was almost 1000.00 cheaper than another place. I was really shocked, I asked the guy if he was sure that was the right price. He assured me it was. Because of the cost and only needing a small 5 foot piece, I decided to go home and think about it. My quote was good for 30 day anyway. I went back on July 9th to purchase it. I had to sign a six page contract of all their terms and conditions which included a all sales are final clause and a clause on if I do not pay a lien against my property would be likely. I signed everything knowing I made a decision to purchase the slab and was ready to bite the bullet so to speak. Moving forward, documents were signed, everything was good to go. I even repeated the story abut the place that was going to charge 1000 more...still no red flags went off for this guy to take a second look at the quote. The next day I got a call stating I was misquoted and they would need to charge me 800.00 MORE. Ummm, no, sorry but I signed a contract for 2091.73 not 2891.73. I told the salesperson I had to think about this and I would call back. I called back maybe 30 minutes later and spoke to the supposed manager and told her, this was unacceptable and if it were my mistake I would end up having to pay. She informed me that the contract was less than 48 hours old and that she could not honor it. Really?? I'm pretty sure once a contract is signed it is binding at that time not 48 hours later. We went back and forth with her absolutely not wanting to go by what the contract was for. She ended up saying she would look for a remnant to give her 48 hours. I did, she called back with no success. So being slightly stupid and really wanting the slab, I said that I would pay 400 more even though it wasn't my mistake and that the company should comp the rest. This was still not good enough for her. She offered a 100 compensation or to refund me. She said she couldn't do more, she would be losing money. I know that was a crock of crap and said I would get back to her. About an hour later, I get a call from the sales person who did the contract and he told me that they fired him over this, but before he left he wanted to be the one to say they were willing to take an additional 200 off. For real, how professional is that...lets have your fired salesperson call and tell me about his untimely firing. Really!! I then had to give this poor young salesperson a boost up and let him know everyone makes mistakes and that it is unfortunate that he does not work for a company that supports and trains their staff appropriately. Moving forward, I went in for the refund on july 13th. I will admit, I was not happy and quite sarcastic. However, this lady took it to another level. She said that I pressured the salesperson to that price. Yeah, that never happened. She pointed to her cameras and I told her,please lets review them cause quite frankly I was texting most of the time he was filling out the contract. Her comments were completely ridiculous and unfounded. Needless to say, I asked for a copy of the receipt from the refund. I took it and left. On Saturday, I realized the money was not credited back to my account. I decided to wait until Monday, 7/16, before I said anything. I got back out my receipt and realized the credit back said transaction declined...that one was on me. I didn't look at it before I left Kroner on Friday. Anyway, today I called and told them the transaction didn't go through and gave them a few hours to resolve the issue. Nope, they didnt!! I went in there at the end of their business day and she had the nerve to tell me she would need to call the bank and would do so tomorrow. The receipt says declined...ummm, yeah, you didn't enter the transaction correctly. I told her she had plenty of time to have done that today and that I would expect her to do it at 9 tomorrow morning that I had other people that I had to pay for the job. She said she had other customers too and would let me know once she does it. I suspect she will wait til days end as that is the kind of sketchy shady business they have going on!!
