I mostly end up at this Kroger out of desperation because it's close or if Fresh Thyme is out of something. I guess I've been spoiled by Kroger Marketplace, but this Kroger honestly doesn't have a great selection AND for some reason...center aisle boxes of anything -- cereal, crackers, etc. -- are always crushed or mangled. A few months ago, they started to reorganization shelves and added new signage that denotes organic. So, I have to give them some stars for trying BUT it's still probably one of my least favorite Kroger locations. 349/365 read more

Most employees are vey nice. Eileen is one very miserable person. I try and avoid her line or the self serve if she is working that. I'm a senior citizen, shopping with my autistic grandson. Today she yelled at me for scanning my Kroger card before she told me to. She said she was not ready yet. The customer before me was already finished and had left. Then she yelled at my Grandson, he was trying to help bag. she said what's wrong with you. I mentioned this to two other people, they both said who was it. Eileen ??? So I am not the only one. Maybe they should give her a job in the back room, keep her away from the public. It's a shame that a trip to the store has to put a damper on a good day. read more

I'll review on my recent and probably last visit to Kroger in Troy, MO. On checkout, I prefer to use a staffed lane. They had six "self checkout" lanes open and three were inoperative. They had one staffed checkout lane, and by the time I got through there were six customers with full carts behind me. Thankfully, there is a Schnuck's in Wentzville on my way home from work. I'll be spending my money there, and when they go to self checkout only, I'll be buying all of my non-perishable items online. Sad to see the decline of brick and mortar stores. read more

Fact: all Krogers are NOT equal. My usual kroger if I end up at one is usually the one on south blvd or on Coolidge. Both of which have an amazing organic section. This Krogers organic section is literally nonexistent. The had absolutely nothing organic as far as shampoos, lotions, snacks, or what I went for- braggs organic apple cider vinegar and their vinaigrette. I was soo annoyed that they didn't have it. If you're a chain shouldn't you at least have some type of similar products? Luckily the other Krogers are right by my house and I was able to stop in and grab what I needed. Something about this location just seems junky. Maybe it's the lighting or possibly the location. Either way I would not go back to this store. Long story short this Kroger is old, poorly stocked and obviously behind on it's healthier options. Go to the above mentioned Krogers for a nice selection of organic products :) read more

At self checkout in Whitelake, Gabe was rude and argumentative. As the customer line grew longer, he proceeded to give me a hard time about a coupon for an item because it was on sale. Hopefully he can get some more training about his job process, because he did not do a good job, in addition he stood way to close and there was a concern with oder. Not a good experience. read more

first of all as I passed through the entrance it was like the scene in never ending story where the night passing through the arches gets lazered by the statues luckily I am immune to lazers. When the manager asked me to leave just because I put my testicles on the produce display I bit my tongue and it wasn't untill I got naked and climbed into the seafood display to help hand out individual raw shrimp to all that passed by that I got to see how ungreatful they were I have never been confronted with such rude behavior! read more

My experience here today was very upsetting. I've been going to this location for five years and have never had a problem. But today, the employee working at the dairy section was extremely rude. I POLITELY asked her if the milk was in stock and she rolled her eyes and said i'll have to contact someone from my department. After a few minutes she went into the employee room and didn't return for a long time. I waited over 20 minutes!! At this time, more people had gathered around for the same item. When she finally came out, I approached her again. She threw the box she was carrying on the floor and started giving me attitude and talking to me in a rude tone. She finally went back and restocked the milk. AND no apology!!! The other customers I talked to also said she was rude to them. Do not recommend this location and will not be returning. read more

This is my neighborhood Kroger which has undergone some major renovations and looks beautiful! Today's visit I needed Wonton wrappers which can be hard to find ... and I couldn't find them... near the Sushi counter? Nope! I was told to ask the Deli counter .. the young lady, Jenna, behind the counter knew what I was talking about! Not only that but she took me directly to them herself! Why did she know? "I have a degree in nutrition!" Smiling and friendly she helped me find those wrappers!! Thanks so much!! Great customer service! The cashier, Sandy, was friendly as well! She told me I had a gift card worth $10 and I didn't realize it!! Yay!! Thanks Kroger! I came home smiling! ! read more

This has become my go-to Kroger. It has improved its appearance and navigability noticeably. The deli department (a weakness in most Krogers) has added a substantial section of pre-packaged servings, reducing the need to stand in line. Item selection is good, especially for healthy options (these are sectioned in each aisle), and the items are usually in stock. All of these changes have transformed what was once a dour location into a bright one, making for enjoyable, efficient shopping. read more

I can't believe how many negative reviews there are. My experience was totally different. This is one of the nicest Kroger I have ever been to. They had a huge deli and produce section. Twice I was asked by employees if I needed help finding something. The only thing I didn't care for was the layout of the organic food section, or lack of an organic food section. The organic food is mixed in with the regular food. It threw me off a little but not the end of the world. I needed a money order and they were quick and friendly at the customer service desk. Maybe I was just lucky but for a busy Sunday afternoon I was impressed with the service and selection of items at this Kroger. read more

I love this Kroger! They recently expanded and improved upon a lot of the departments -- especially the "natural foods" section! They're organic selection has vastly improved and I can pretty much get all my shopping taken care of here (when I'm not at the farmers market). I recently moved to San Francisco and often find myself saying, "I miss my Kroger." The people working here have always been fine with me but I've definitely witnessed a lot of very rude CUSTOMERS. This location is definitely A-OK. It doesn't hurt, of course, that it's practically a stone's throw from my house, so it's my go-to grocery store. That said, sometimes you get great service (a speedy cashier who isn't rattled by rainchecks, or a knowledgeable bagger who KNOWS how to load a bag) but sometimes you get mediocre service (an uninformed cashier or a teenage bagger who wants to put things in your bag in the order they come down the belt, instead of looking ahead). But overall, it's a nice store that I feel comfortable shopping at. I could easily travel another mile in two separate directions to hit other locations, but this one works for me. read more

So the Store has finally gotten a facelift, bigger store and even sushi chef making fresh sushi everyday. Big problem is keeping old employees back from the old farmer jack days. I think they believe they have the right to be rude to customers cause they've been there so long. They must belong to a union. One employee named Belle whom I try to avoid cause I've seen this woman in action seems to treat everyone like theyre stupid. Especially foreigners who speaks little english. Seing her in action I can tell she has little patience. God forbid you ask her where something is. From the looks of her face this woman doesn't like her job very much. One of those days I happen to run into this woman. I had no choice being that the self serve registers where the only ones running that early morning. She happen to be the only one helping people out. I was just hoping everything would run smoothly and I would be out of here. Not!!!!!. The item supposedly on sale did not show. So I tell her that if she went back to where it was she would see a big sign saying so. The customer is always right doesnt ring a bell to this woman. Of course she was to busy doing nothing and having only me in line at 8 in the morning. She was just to butt lazy to go and check. I said forget it and not take the item and told her I would go back and get another item similar but cheaper. This woman had the nerve to tell me if I could put the item back since I was going that way. WTF!!!!!##. I drop the item and walked out. Update! New grocery store called Fresh Thyme farmers market! The customer service I witnessed today was appalling. Belle (cashier) was so incredibly rude to a sweet elderly lady who had very broken English. She was checking out and had to call her son because her debit card wasn't working. Belle was impatient and very short with her. The lady was explaining to her she had to call her son for him to put money on her card. I understood her, if Belle would have simply listened she would have too. What made it worse was the manager came over and started barking at her as well. I could not believe how they treated this sweet lady. Instead of trying to help her they made her frustrated and upset her. By telling her she didn't have money and she was holding the line of customers up, by telling her they don't understand what she's saying and to speak clearly, by telling her they can't keep running her card and there is no way her son put money on her card that quickly, and they were only trying one more time. Thankfully it worked! I trust this is not the way Kroger wishes to conduct business with customers. I hope no one treats them like this one day or better yet their mothers. read more

I come here frequently to the point where I know most of the staff, conveniently located close to where I live. Pretty standard Kroger usually can get everything I need, so why 3 stars? Well between the douche bag stockers in the cheese/bread aisle, the one bagger I always end up that has a permanent scowl no matter what you say to him, and the incredibly rude people who almost kill you in the parking lot that shop there my experience can be hit or miss. Lynn and Simon in the meat department, and the girls in produce are the exception but beware, your good mood could be ruined quickly. read more

The Kroger I usually go to on my lunch break because I'm close. A good market, stocked shelves with a good fruit and vegetable section. They also have hot food, a deli and meat counter as well as a guy making sushi. They also seem to have a great abundance of milfs at this store. read more

4 stars Despite living in Novi, I frequent this Kroger often per a friends request. They live right next door and he never seems to have all the ingredients for cooking dinner together (shakes head in disapproval towards him). So I'm here at least 1-2 times on the weekend. Inside is pretty clean but I have to knock stars off for the parking lot. Shopping carts are littered like land mines. Try parking next to one. I dare you. Anyway. Here is where all the stars go. Every time I go inside I am tempted by the sushi and ice cream. Ice cream usually wins because Kroger brand hazelnut truffle fudge is to die for (and always on sale!). Please don't discontinue this. For everyone else reading it; please don't buy it. I like my $1.56 ice cream in my fridge only. Their fruit is pretty good and veggies are always well stocked. I work really close to this location, so I frequent it. They recently updated/remodeled the store and is much nicer now. They usually have a good selection of fresh salad's. And the shelves are always stocked. And there always seems to be enough cash registers open, because I never have to wait in line!!! A huge plus!! read more

Please hire new help in the deli. They are grouchy old ladies who hate their life and their job. They actually argue with each other in front of customers! They hate waiting on customers, and it shows. And please, please, please, widen your aisles! You went through a remodel and the aisles are so frikin tight that 2 carts can barely pass each other. I used to come to this Kroger a really long time ago, it's done nothing but gone down hill. Not as clean as it used to be and the customer service area is ALWAYS slow. The Kroger at 15 and Ryan was never like this when it was open. Everyone there was super super friendly. I don't understand what is wrong with these people. And even your fellow customers there are jerks. Everyone is only concerned for themselves, they'll cut you off while you're walking, and give you dirty looks for daring to look at the same products that they are. I would not recommend this place to anybody. First of all, every time I go to this Kroger ,there is never anybody in the seafood section and they take forever to come help you. Also almost all the older people at this location are very grumpy and disrespectful. Next, i was in the produce section trying to ask an employee a question but he had his headphones in so i just got ignored. I was never really satisfied with this Kroger, but my house is not even a mile away so i come here for last minute things. My last visit really pushed me over the edge, so i asked a cashier if i can speak to a store manager. The store manager (short, old guy) was extremely rude to me, So much for customer service. Also, if you want to buy anything organic, vegan or in that category, this is not the spot for you. they do not have that section (unlike just about every other Kroger) Overall, you should just drive the extra three miles to the store at 18 mile & Dequindre This will be my last visit at this store read more

Wish I could give lower than one star. HORRIBLE selection of anything. Always out of something! Fruit and vegetable selection is TERRIBLE. Watch expiration dates, they are usually a day or two away--or expired. Not the cleanest. One day I was behind a non-white person who spoke broken English. The cashier was impatient, unkind and actually looked to me for sympathy. Ohhh, and don't forget the bagging. I come home half the time with vegetables under cans and my bread smashed. They did get better with customer service since the recent upgrades. Why! Why do I go, convenient location. I go to savagio's or spartan when I can. I have two Krogers the same distance from my house but I like this one best. The wait in line is short, they are fully stocked, and the employees are helpful. The store isn't so big that I get lost and the goods are fresh. I've had better cuts of meat but only at the gourmet market so I think this place is a good value. read more
