This Kroger is really starting to get on my last nerve. The stock, customer service, and overall cleanliness have steadily declined over the last 2-3 years. It's gotten bad enough that I've started shopping at other grocery stores instead. Today was another example. I stopped by the deli for sandwich meat and stood there without being acknowledged by either employee. One eventually asked what I needed, still no greeting. The same employee I've encountered before, who consistently has an attitude, helped me this time. She didn't ask how I wanted the meat sliced, so I said I wanted it sliced thin. She never acknowledged the request, not verbally, not with eye contact, nothing. When I got home, the meat was sliced so thin it was falling apart. At that point it honestly felt intentional, like being punished for making a simple request. I'm over this location. Between the declining store conditions and the repeated poor attitude in the deli, it's just not worth the frustration anymore. read more

While this Kroger has been in place for a few years now, it is still referred to as "The New Kroger" by all of us who have been in Newnan for many years. I am still an OG Newnan Kroger faithful, but on occasion will pop in to this location. While I have never full grocery shopped here, I have stopped by for a prescription, to pick up a few items, renew my tags and of course, gas. I have never had any major issues with anything at this location. The product selection is nice, fruit, veggies and meat always fresh, store always cleaned and shelves stocked. However, one thing that is inconsistent here is the service you get. You will get a bit of different service at every counter and register in the store. Sometime they are friendly, other times they make you feel like you came in and ordered food when they close in 2 minutes. It has never been bad enough to derail my experience, but it has been bad enough to be noticeable and to become an expectation of visiting this location. Overall, it is a Kroger, so you know I love it...but I am hopeful they get the service in better alignment! read more

I placed a pickup order to be picked up between 7-8pm - I got a call at 6 pm it wasn't going to be ready until the next day - this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE- they need to turn the app off if they can't do their job read more

I needed a few things I forgot a few days prior, so I was interested in checking out a different store from Publix. Kroger owns my hometown grocery store, so I thought it would be interesting to see similarities/differences. (BTW your loyalty card from a Publix subsidiary doesn't work here, at least in my experience re: Mariano's) I know how absurd it must sound to say that the "vibes were off here." You'd wonder how to measure that objectively, which is fair. But all I can say is that it felt dingy, dirty, and sad. It didn't feel clean, bright, and open at all. The prepared food didn't look very good, and there was not much of a variety, especially for sandwiches. The produce was OK - I got some raspberries that were quite inconsistent. They might not know how to stagger or assign roles well, because there was a huge snaking line of people waiting at the checkout lane, and they finally opened up a second one well into that process. The one positive thing here is that everyone I encountered staff-wise was friendly and polite. The checkout employee was nice, and she pointed out that another employee she was talking to is her daughter! That was very cute :) read more

I've been shopping at this location and having my prescriptions filled on their pharmacy since 2006 but ove the last year to two years, they have dramatically declined. I had to wait in excess of three days for prescriptions to be filled and when I called the pharmacy, nobody answered. To make matters worse, I called the front desk and was told that the reason they are so short staffed is because "nobody wants to work". I'm not a schmuck. I pulled all of my meds from their pharmacy to a reliable one. CVS on RT. 29. Kroger had become a joke and I could go into even more detail about how bad this location operates from what I've personally witnessed. Stay far away. Go to Publix read more

This location is all kinds of special. Watch the Dates on foods!!! You can walk their dairy sections and find outdated product, not talking just one, I found enough to make a small display so they would notice it. Lord help you if you go there on a day that it rained, for you will be dodging buckets and pails galore trying to catch the water dripping from the ceiling. And their Mr Mark manager, well, he needs to work on greeting customers and manners. I only go here for a couple of quick items when I am in a jam and need something fast. 3 minutes ago I went through the self checkout line (9/18/20 @ 12:30). One of my items wasn't showing the correct sale price. Karen S. (Maybe Kim S.) was extremely helpful. She took the time to confirm the price and quickly resolved the issue. I took notice that she was also helping many others in self checkout. It was as though she were running 6 registers at a time. She maintained a pleasant demeanor with all the customers. It is so rare to find great customer service these days and I wanted to take the opportunity to commend her efforts. read more

Why is the Kroger Pharmacy at Newnan Crossing Blvd closed an HOUR EARLY?? Did they forget about the time change?? I spoke with numerous employees and no one knows! You can't ask Custoner Service because they're closed too! A very poor performance on Kroger's part. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that couldn't pick up their prescription!! The prices just keep creeping up. A package of frozen meatballs that sold last year about 6 months ago sold for 5.99 now is now 9.99. there are many more examples. Using the pandemic to justify spiking prices for food is really bad. I writing this because of their ad showing cartoon characters singing the prices as low, low, low . No not so much. read more

I walked into this Kroger the other night to witness a massive, gray rat scurrying across the floor. This thing was huge! I called to one of the workers and told them. It was late and my cupboards were bare, I decided to proceed. I will be contacting the health department about this incident. As I proceeded to checkout, a group of young workers were running around laughing, and cursing as though they were on a playground versus a place of business, which was unsettling. Then the checkout counter person stopped scanning my items and engaged in a lengthy discussion with the bagger regarding the bagger's schedule. I just stood there and waited. There were people behind me as well. I love to see young people who are willing to work for a living. Kroger does not seem to realize that some young people need more supervision until they gain a more professional demeanor that comes with experience and training. But to allow young people to have free reign is a major mistake. Some just have not been taught better at home, which is not their fault. Kroger and enhance their lives and professionalism in a very meaningful way. Kroger is responsible for the professionalism or lack hereof in their stores. I've been to other stores where young people are very professional and impressive workers. Training them is good for the store and good for the future success of this young generation as they enter the workforce. read more

Kroger has much better prices than other stores in the area. I have had good experiences and if no check out are open they open one immediately when they see a line. The pharmacy is helpful but does seem to have a big turn over of staff. I shop here every week so I have no trouble finding things, and I have no issues with how my groceries are bagged (unless I bag them myself :-) . I like the scan and go option. read more

Pharmacy filled only one of my three prescriptions then called four days letter to advise me to pick up my remaining two prescriptions. The pharmacy staff overlooked two of the three RX..... this is kinda scary when you think of their lack of attention to detail in regards to medicine and people's lives. I brought this to the cashier's attention and she simply shrugged off the matter. Switching pharmacies... scary. read more

I'll be honest. I really dislike this store to the point of hating this location and Kroger as a whole. The ONLY reason I go to the this location is for gas and when Publix is CLOSED. That's it. This location always seems disorganized and I can never find anything which frustrates the crap out of me as an organized person and main grocery shopper in the house. The staff never seems to be thrilled to be at work and their body language screams "I will only do the bare minimum". I would highly not reccomend this store and tell you to go to Walmart before here (and I hate Walmart even more). read more

This Kroger is horrible.The shelf's are never fully stocked.prices are not what are listed and the young man who works the courtesy counter is extremely rude. This morning I bought a few items only to get to my car and look over my receipt to discover I had been over charged.I go back In the store to the courtesy counter to discover another customer had also been overcharged by the same cashier.The young man at the courtesy counter seemed to be upset that she and I both questioned our transactions. We love shopping at this Kroger as Vegans because they have a separate aisle for all of the vegan and vegetarian foods. The aisle is located directly next to produce section which makes our shopping very easy. The only thing is the the aisles are really narrow compared to other stores. When we shop on Sunday afternoons it can be hard to get around with so many people in the store. I highly recommend Kroger! read more

I agree with first 2 comments, produce department is awful. For such a huge well known supermarket, there is such a poor selection of fruits and vegetables. -- Next is, what is the deal with so, so many items not being in stock and available to purchase ??? I understand more when a 'sale' item is out-of-stock, but just regular everyday items - no excuse. -- Lastly, there are a few incredibly wonderful employees at this Kroger. However, in the same breathe there are a number of 'I couldn't care less' employees as well. This has been the case for a number of years now. I think management has a lot to do with this. There are a couple of managers who reflect just the same 'attitude'. -- I have also noticed that just in the past month how friendly many employees at this have become since Aldi's has set up residence just down the street. read more

Absolutely disappointed again. The last two times I went into Kroger between 8:30-8:40 to grab some chicken salad the deli department has parchment paper over the salad/side item case. They don't want to wait or acknowledge you even though they are open until 9pm. The seafood department is just as bad. Tonight takes the cake...I will not go back there again, Publix is across the street, Walmart is the same distance away along with Aldi's. I was checking out and I average 300 plus dollars a week at this store and ask my cashier if my kroger card did work..only because the amount due seemed high...before she could reply with "yes", the rude, scowl, prune faced self check out person by the name of Ginger walked up and said "no". Which in fact my kroger card did work. Why Ginger felt she needed to even say anything since I was not in self checkout is beyond my control??? This store is poorly run, employees show no gratitude to the patrons and quite honestly you can keep your 10 for 10 and Ginger attitudes and FAIL!!! I don't need your deals or gas to be treated like that. read more

I was at the self check out and as I was reaching for my Kroger discount card, my credit card fell underneath the carousel. Unable to retrieve it I called over the cashier. They had to take machine apart to get my card back for me. And I did not have to wait twenty four hours either. They went beyond the call of duty. Great customer service to me! read more

Staff are wonderful!! Very friendly and helpful! I'm a regular. They also serve nice drinks and snacks for those on the hungry side like me haha! I've never had a problem with this place I would recommend it to anyone. read more

The past two times I have gone here I have forgotten to bring my own bags. HUGE mistake. The bigger Malik was putting 2 items per bag of my $300 order. I asked him to put more items per bag and he ignored me. There was no way I was going to play JENGA with my groceries in my trunk so I went and purchased 6 reusable bags and let the gal at customer service know my frustration. She was sweet and said she tells that bagger constantly that he needs to pack better, and she would let the manager know. I then went to the parking lot with my 5 yr old and re bagged the groceries- which everything fit into other than the eggs. I then brought the buggy that was full back into the store and saw a manager. I told him what happened. He said "I already know and will coach Malik on how to bag". Big fail Kroger manager. You knew I was in the lot re bagging and NEVER came out to apologize. Never sent someone out to help me! Obviously you sir are lacking what good customer service looks like. You didn't even care when I said I will NOT be back. Publix will now be getting me as a new weekly customer. read more

Use to shop here regularly, but now go to Publix or Aldis since the recent changes. The organic/vegatarian section is gone. The aisles have been rearranged in a way that makes no sense. The produce section is tiny, poorly stocked, and not fresh. They only have 2-3 staffed checkouts. They've installed these stupid devices where you scan your groceries as you shop - but STILL have to wait in line to pay - so stupid! It's little better than a convenient store than a true grocery store now. Very stupid corporate decisions ruined a decent store. read more

Literally the only thing that is fine with this Kroger is the fact that it has free wifi. Rude staff, nasty produce section. Very bad.

The worst day is Sunday. Almost all the produce is wilted or gone. Nobody helps when you have a question (customer help desk?). The same guy just pushing a broom around and around and around the store. I have not seen a basket near the entrance in over two weeks! Public is across the street.
