I wrote the following to Kroger Investor Relations on 1/20/2013 Dear Kroger Investor Relations: I write to let compliment you on the pharmacy staff at your Sharpsburg, Georgia store (770-254-3035). My wife and I recently moved and are new customers to this store. The staff is almost always busy, but they make time to be friendly, helpful, and patiently answer our questions. Molly is the manager there and we have had an excellent experience with all of the staff, Kim and Amanda come to mind most recently. Their quality customer service means greater loyalty from us, and more money for this store. Sincerely, Eric Ferrell Sharpsburg, Georgia read more

A few months ago I bought a rotisserie chicken from Kroger. I'd gotten them there many times without a problem. However, this time I was starving and in a hurry to run more errands. I decided to have a leg to go but I didn't want to take it out of the bag so I tried to cut it off while it was still in the bag. I hit bone so I just pulled it. The leg and part of the thigh came out. I noticed something odd when I looked at it. At first, I thought it was that hideous vein that's in bone in thighs but upon closer inspection, a pic and Google it turned out to be a well done WORM! Thankfully, I had not eaten any of it! I can no longer eat rotisserie chicken from anywhere without being nauseated. Thanks for that Kroger! A couple weeks later I bought plain, raw, boneless, skinless chicken breasts that are often up front when you first walk in. Brought it home and put it in the freezer. Next time I took it out to cook I noticed something black on one of the thawed breasts. I couldn't take anymore and threw it out. I only purchase water and soda from Kroger, no Kroger products because I don't trust them anymore. I emailed and sent pics of the worm. They expressed their gratitude by adding $15.00 to my club card. Gee, thanks! I could have made a huge stink and said I ate a piece of the worm chicken but I didn't. When I found the mystery black thing on the raw chicken I contacted the health department and told them about both. Apparently, Kroger didn't do anything about the chicken problem. read more

This store is on a steady decline, nothing ever in stock and if it's a fresh vegetable it's expired . One star because the Starbucks is nice. The produce is horrific, there store slogan should be " The truck didn't come in yet." I cannot believe this area of sharpsburg, has such a sad looking Kroger . We deserve better than this. FYI - please like if you agree this the worst Kroger in coweta . read more

Whoever worked the service counter on 8/5/24 is rude and no help. I asked two different people to help me with the coin machine after it took coins and gave me no cash. What help did the offer... nothing and didn't even come over and try to help they just walked away. read more

I went there today. First of all,i passed by 3 different employees,of which made an effort to speak. I went to the produce dept. And saw a 3 ft. Bright yellow sign that said blueberries 2.99. I asked a employee who was about 4 ft. Away if that was the actual price. She(rudely) said no,you must have a digital coupon to get that price.i had her come over and showed her the 3ft. Sign that says 2.99,and no mention whatsoever of a digital coupon needed. She walked away and said i just work here. How many people (especially elderly like myself) see that sigh and buy them not realizing the price is almost double the stated price? Its misleading, and very deceptive. It sad that kroger has sunk to such a pathetic business model, and that the employees have carte blanche to be rude to their loyal customers. Poor management throughout the. The tail is wagging the dog severely at this kroger. read more

Violet was kind and respectful; however the store itself had some barcode malfunctions which was a little annoying and took more time than necessary. nonetheless got what I came for. read more

Store is purely outdated and lacks leadership (Scott and Michelle) that is conducive of moving it in the right direction. The kids that work there speak very lowly of management that treats them mostly as low labor workers than humans trying to learn. Upper management are lackluster incompetent store individuals who runs this store without the respect of the people that work there and shop there. read more

Heard from a friend of mine that they had seen rats in the produce section. I am very disappointed... I didn't see any rats

This is our favorite Kroger. We usually pick up our food through their Click List pick up. The staff that works there are great! Always friendly and courteous. We especially love Savannah, Liz, Sara, Chris K., Dorothy, Alissa, Annissa, Raina, and Joseph. Great, efficient service read more

Even during the pandemic, Kroger is especially falling apart. Shelves are sparse, produce is pitiful, employees, most are snotty and the cashiers are even worse. One refused to take my bags, but wouldn't get anyone to empty my cart. I had to unload my cart, bag my groceries, chase down my apples and then pay. I should have been offered a 20% discount just for the hassle. The cashier opened my bag of apples and let them roll on the floor. Didn't offer to replace, nor re-bag. Floors are dirty, everything is a mess. There is no customer service, let alone groceries to be had. Thomas Crossroads Kroger has fallen down HARD. I will not be back to that location....ever. read more

I came in tonight with my family member to pick up some last minute balloons. There was a customer in front of us that got their balloon filled then that employee told another employee named Michael (wearing scrubs) that that was his last balloon for the moment because he had other tasks to take care of. With us still standing there, Michael proceeded to go to register 16, ignoring us. We saw another employee walk by and we explained what happened. She went to talk to Michael and he began laughing. A couple of minutes later, two great young ladies came to assist us and we were able to finally check out. If you're looking 10/10 service just know that at 9:30 on a Monday evening may not be your best bet. Good luck! read more

What the hell has happened to this store? This Kroger has been my regular stop for the past 5 years but recently it has changed to "no one knows and no one cares". "Open" cash registers with no one around. Employees stocking shelves on their cell phones and turn away from you when you have a question. Ask a question about location of product and they have no idea and make no effort to find out. Out of stock on common items for days at a time. "Napa cabbage? What's a napa cabbage." I'm not a fan of Publix but I may have to reconsider. read more

I've been going to this location since it opened and for many years it was an excellent place to shop. A couple years ago, it appears that management changed (or completely left) and now I feel like I'm shopping at a warehouse store. All the employees look sloppy in street clothes, vendors blocking aisles during the day and they never have things I need. The only thing that kept me coming back is that I knew where everything was, now they're resetting everything and I can't find anything. The biggest gripe I have is their new ad campaign about "fresh for everyone" is so completely the opposite of what their produce is like it's laughable. I hate that I'm now going to have to go to all the way to Lower-Fayetteville road location, but I've had enough. read more

We decided to go to this Kroger today out of location convenience and never again will that happen. We stopped going here a while back because it was always filthy, and sadly about a year since we've been in it is actually worse. The restroom smells like urine both women and men's. Trash all over the floor and the drain in the women's room looks like it's about to pop out of the floor because the floor around it is destroyed. I'm surprised someone hasn't busted their a-- yet tripping on the missing floor. Other parts of the store had strange odors. Employees never gave guest the right of way. Other newnan Kroger's have a much larger selection so would recommend going to any other one. I legitimately felt gross walking in this place. read more

Total NON enforcement of mask policy at this store! Multiple people walking around store unmasked and not respecting social distancing. Totally unsafe esp if you are at risk. I raised the issue with self checkout manager and she just shrugged her shoulders. read more

Store is clean, food is fresh, staff is very accommodating. The pharmacy staff is terrific. The sushi kiosk with chef Che' is not bad for a store sushi stand. Sushi is made fresh daily right in the store. The deli and pastry section are very nice as well. Starbucks in store. I love shopping at this Kroger! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. DO NOT ORDER PICK UP! My order was hours late TWICE and both orders were completely wrong. The manager was rude and disrespectful. Save yourself the trouble- there are plenty of other options. read more

They are always out of stock in the items I need, doesn't matter when I go. I tried the click list that wasn't a great visit. However, cashiers are always friendly and very fast. Please work on your inventory counts. read more

We will never go back in this Kroger store. There was no mask enforcement. Many customers were not wearing masks and even one cashier did not gave a mask on. COVID 19 is a serious pandemic! It is the stores responsibility to keep customers safe. I will be shopping at Publix, Target, and Walmart who are enforcing masks! read more

This has got to be the worst Kroger around! I live right around the corner and will literally drive the opposite direction just to go to a Kroger that actually has product in stock and isn't expired. Literally no produce on the shelf EVER and the few times they do have something, it's rotten. This place is a dump and needs someone from corporate to recognize that it needs a major overhaul from the building to the staff. read more

Whoever does inventory at this Kroger needs to be retrained. It didn't use to be this way. Never before have I seen so many items out of stock! I visit the store at least 5 times a week (obviously, I don't do my own inventory very well, yet, it only inconveniences myself) and always out of stuff and the lines are becoming Walmart lines. 15 registers and only 3 are open? I should NOT be in line for 10 minutes!! I'm tempted to start going to Publix!! read more

I come here about 4 times a week (out of convenience). The customer service is excellent and I live how there's both a Starbucks and wells Fargo branch at this location. The only problem (and it's a big problem for me) is they are usually out of regularly bought grocery items such as select vegetables, orange juice, meats. This usually occurs on their weekly sale items, it's strange because the two or three times I've gone out of my way to inquire about their out of stock problem I've received the same response which is that the truck carrying the given items didn't come in. I think it really boils down to poor ordering on the stores behalf. I love the customer service and will continue coming here for the convenience of it being so close to my house. read more

I come to this grocery store mostly out of convenience. The prices are rather high and the natural/gluten-free selection is very limited. I can't comment on the customer service because I usually use self-checkout. The produce is fresh and there is a good selection of meats and seafood, but as I stated, don't go looking for natural options. read more

What a nice upgrade they have done here. Looks like a high end supermarket you would find on the north side. Always a fast checkout. Way less than the competition read more

Love Kroger and this Kroger in particular. They have great prices and have almost everything I need for my cooking needs. The only complaint about here is that sometimes their veggie selection is not as good at publix, at least not at this Kroger. Overall though, this is where we've been doing our grocery shopping lately and I love the perks of saving on gas when shopping here. read more

I was at the Deli this afternoon, the young man was wearing gloves but touching everything with the same pair...meat, cheese, face, trash can! But the worst was when he came around the counter, checked the display case all the while rubbing his gloved hands down his pants as if to clean his gloves. Flies EVERYWHERE, cross contamination is a huge issue here. Will never shop at this Kroger again. read more

I've been shopping at this Kroger just about every day since 2001 and ever since they remodeled the store, they fail to keep the shelves stocked. They run out of milk, 1/2 & 1/2, habaneros for months on end, the beer aisle is always 1/2 depleted with certain brands out for days on end. The store IS on the decline. Even the few employees I talked to agree. It never used to be this way until they remodeled it and forgot to to run it! I used to like going there and now find it a waste of time seeing as how they don't know how to order enough to keep their shelves stocked. Also, I noticed the clientele that go there are rude. They don't care how they park. They pull in a parking spot and if their cars happen to take up 1 1/2 spaces, they don't give a sh--. Also I almost got ran over there while coming out of the store. That's just a side note. A lot of customers are highly annoyed at how they are running this store (into the ground). If they don't get their act together, this store will be out of business sooner than later. I'm willing to drive to Lower Fayetteville Rd's Kroger even though I live a stone's throw from this one. read more

My default grocery store. Always tidy and clean, and decent prices on everything. They don't have the most exotic produce section like Publix, but their veggies are fresh and the leafy greens (kale, lettuces) are always the cheapest here. Plus, they have a Starbucks and a sushi station! read more

I shop Kroger stores all around the Atlanta area. By far, this Kroger consistently has the BEST customer service. As I shop frequently with my family, the managers and staff get to know us. Being welcomed to a store is nice Being welcomed by name is exceptional. The remodeling has not disrupted shopping. The staff are well trained in assisting customers during the transition. Great store. The people make it unique. Pay attention Kroger corporate. The Sharpsburg, GA Kroger represents you well. read more

Poor, Poor, Customer service. Waited for 5 minutes for a employee to assist us at the register. There was no one at the self help. I had to go get someone to help my wife and I. The store is great, always a better selection in produce and simple foods like flours, salt, oil and meats. I like Kroger, but don't expect anyone to lift a finger to help you. read more

Just spent about 40 minutes in there on a Sunday. My wife and I were trying to prepare for a Framily Reunion. There were no signs by the beer and wine about what time you can buy on Sundays. We just moved here, so we didn't know the law. At 11:24 AM, I asked one employee what time you can buy alcohol on a Sunday. She guessed at 12:00, 12:30, or 1:00. She never offered to go check for me. So, I found another employee working the self-check-out. I figured she would know. She said 12:00 with some confidence, so I trusted her. My wife and I slow-shopped and got in line to pay after 12:00. The cashier, who was too young to ring up alcohol, asked the bagger to try to scan it - she didn't know the time, either. The baggger tried and it would not scan. So, the bagger just took all the alcohol and walked away - no conversation about what we wanted to do. I told the cashier and the bagger that I had asked two other employees what the law was and had received two different incorrect answers. No response - deadpan... no conversation, no apology for employees not knowing the law (their job). Thanks, Kroger! read more

I like the natural food section and the wonderful manager specials. And overall the staff is cheerful and helpful. The Thomas Crossroads Kroger is the best Kroger store in Newnan. read more
