We decided to stop by this store to check if they had some clearance items my sister found at another store. We also decided to walk aisle by aisle to see if there were any deals on items we needed. The parking wasn't too bad for a Saturday. They had plenty of carts. It was a little busy but easy to navigate each aisle. They had tons of yellow sticker sales and the store was actually well stocked. Usually when we came in the past the shelves were always empty. I feel like they stepped up their game a bit. The only issue I find is that they will only give you some sale prices if you clip a coupon. I have issues with the app. It never works for me. It also never connects in the store so you would have to clip beforehand and then track to make sure it came off. I think they need to upgrade this. read more

Pharmacy service Unprofessional and dismissive staff. I experienced a 10-day delay on important medication due to a lack of communication on their end. When attempting to resolve it, the pharmacy staff was incredibly rude, refused to listen, and even hung up the phone when asked difficult questions. Instead of taking accountability for failing to notify me of a prescription issue, they shifted the blame onto me and tried to shut down the conversation. I went in to buy their Kroger pop and it had a sales tag for 2.99 went to register and it came up more. They said that was an old sale tag and won't honor it. I always thought you are supposed to honor the price being advertised... they said no. I'm non stop double checking and when I get to register it seems to come up differently every time I shop. This location is slowly becoming better, IMO. While the produce is most certainly not as great as Nino Salvaggio's or Vince & Joe's, they rarely charge as much and ordering online allows for free pickup (assuming you purchase enough). My real issue is the ordering online, which has been MAJORLY F'd up at least 3 times for me at this location. I received the completely wrong pickup order multiple times, which is annoying and such a F'ing time suck, because you wasted the time to shop online, get there, drive home, and then have to do the shopping again in person, bc guess what? They gave YOUR order to someone else. They DEF need to work on the efficiency and double check that the correct person is receiving their order before leaving. read more

This is by far the WORST Kroger in the area, I dread having to go here because it is always a disaster. The employees are by far the most inconsiderate, they will plow you over if you're in their way, will not step to the side if you're trying to look at something they're stocking and the Deli employees also try to make it look like they're closed even in the middle of the day. Besides the employees being an issue - items are rarely stocked which is likely why it is difficult to walk around in this store since any day of the week they have giant boxes of stock sitting stacked in the middle of several aisles throughout the entire store. I do NOT recommend this location, if you can definitely go elsewhere there are several within a few miles from this location. read more

I had a coupon for $14 off $140. My total was over $160 before my Kroger card and $145 after. The $14 showed up on the screen but not on my receipt. This is the 2nd time this has happened. When I stop at this location, my reason is only for a quick shop when on my way home from Roseville at 4pm. If I need to pick up an item or two last minute can be frustrating here since this location has a small parking lot along with "Rough" holes in areas while driving through it to park. I did park at one time at a business in a strip plaza since I could not find a spot to park. While walking and shopping fast here, I've noticed that most of the isles are tight and not wide enough when passing basket to basket. I can always shop to grab and go when I need to but this location is NOT my favorite one. The self check out or u-scan area is always crowded with a line of people waiting to check out. A slow go for sure. Bad time of the day I guess especially with all the residents who live in the near area because of the many schools. We just started using our Kroger fuel points after being long time Kroger shoppers and never using them in the past. It took only a short amount of time to learn about how it all works and how to use the points at the pump and we're still new to the process, but happy we started using this perk offered to their loyal customers . I must say so far, so good with how it's working out. We filled up and saved 50 cents a gallon the first time and 40 cents a gallon on the second visit. If you're a Kroger customer, take it from me and use those fuel points towards money off on the high price of filling up because it's a great savings opportunity. Why let the points and money go to waste? It was a lesson learned and from now on, I'll be downloading any additional fuel points savings coupons and making sure those valuable points turn into valuable dollar savings! read more

Let's review Kroger at 21 and Card. Folks, if you've never seen a dinosaur here is one on the corner. What I mean is most of the other Kroger stores have all revamped and renovated their buildings except for this one. This one goes back to how grandpa and grandma remember as it is probably the same store since the grand opening back in the day. Let's keep talking about the location. The parking lot is small. It's terrible. If all of this area is shopping on the day you are there then forget it. You're parking at the Walgreens across the way or Dakota high school. Avoid this place on Monday evenings, weekends from 11 pm to 3 pm, and any day before any holiday. I can't count how many times, during these peak times, that I have almost been hit or backed into. There are stop signs which drivers do not obey and crosswalks pedestrians seldom use. Let's go inside. My gripe with this store is that it seems to always be poorly stocked. My annoying wife sends me for Lunchables for the kid's lunches here, mind you I am cheap and the kids get the 10 for 1.00 ones, not the Oscar Meyer 1.99 ones so those are gone all of the time SOLD OUT. You'll find those disgusting bologna ones hidden far behind the shelf if you are lucky but they are always out. My kids being unhealthy like the rest of the family also like chocolate milk and chicken fries both of which are also sold out very fast. See a theme with kids junk food and stuff like that? I guess its the Real Housewives of Macomb coming in and raiding this place like a bunch of looters in a disaster that leaves it in shambles and void. Also, for some reason, this location is always closing on certain nights to do the floors. Kroger has gotten really weird with their prices, stocking piled up in the isles all the time, and the general feel of the store has gotten trashy. We stopped doing our major shopping at Kroger stores for several reasons: 1. Here is a prime example: Starbucks bagged coffee at Kroger: $10.99, sometimes on sale, sometimes not. Meijer's regular price: $5.99 NOT ON SALE! I'm not playing coupons games, just sell me a product in a straightforward manner. 2. There is always stuff stacked everywhere and it's hard to get around in the store when you are trying to shop, *all of the Kroger's are like this now. It is so obnoxious trying to maneuver around pallets and employees trying to stock shelves and do ten different things at once. Stores use to stock shelves in off hours/at night so customers didn't have to battle pallets and employees frantically trying to do their jobs. No thank you, I can shop elsewhere. 3. I love their section of organics, everything is clearly labeled, and they carry different types of soy products, as well as frozen meals, cereals, soups, meal bars, snacks, meat substitutes, dairy substitutes...etc. I only shop in this section and it is always a great price. They even have specials each week in this section (although it is very small deal, it's something that promotes a healthier buy on a budget) Convenient location as well as cleanliness. My only gripe with this place is that their produce isn't as fresh as I would hope for, especially their organic produce and their organic health section isn't more than like 1 and half isles. Sign up for their customer rewards program, print off or add your coupons to your rewards card, use the coupons they send you through the mail. And sign up for your favorite brand's mailing lists to get manufacture coupons. You'll be impressed on your savings just utilizing these key points. read more

Beautiful new Kroger. I have not found anything I could not get at this grocery store. They have a great organic product area. It is almost like a small department store in the middle of the building. The only problem is the parking lot. There is not enough parking for the amount of business they do. I was in line and saw several people without masks and others wearing them below their nose. No one confronted them even though a face mask is required for entrance. Employees and management didn't care when asked why they were allowed not to wear masks. They lost a lot that day because I was stocking up our freezer for the summer Motor Home adventures so I ended up going to Nino Salvagio's and know that I got far better meats so I am glad the person was rude! I was at the 21555 21 mile rd macomb, Mi location. There were 3 employees that had no masks on and at least 15 customers that had no masks on . This is a huge concern since Michigan requires face masks in enclosed spaces . I spoke to the manager Joey and he was snarky about the whole things. Businesses can REFUSE to allow unmasked customers in their locations. The cashier had a bad attitude when no one was bagging her line. And when I spend $250, I'm not going to bag my own groceries. Sorry, you don't pay me to do that. When someone finally came over to bag them, he just complained the whole time. He supposed to leave in five minutes, and he's tired of being disrespected by people. And he's going to go off on somebody if they keep disrespecting him. These are not conversations employees should have in front of customers. My fiancé and I were in the store browsing the organic and vegan selections. We were happy, laughing and overall excited about the options that were were finding. We noticed that secret shopper had been following us through the store the entire time. It was quite obvious as to what he was doing. He didn't make his scowls very subtle. He followed us through the entire store inches away from where we were shopping. Finally, frustrated and uncomfortable we decided to leave. I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. When shopping for groceries, in a great mood and happy as can be, I shouldn't have to worry about someone profiling me and treating me like a criminal.
