Review #539…read more 2/28/2026 Today I can certainly update My previous review which was only for the sit down restaurant or cafe back on 3/29/2019. Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is My nearby and Go to store for many things from Fresh Produce, Flowers, Ready House Made Meals to Go, Popcorn, Handmade Croutons, Salsas, Wines and their decadent desserts to name a few of My favorites shopping items! This weekend was their Strawberry Sale .99 cents for a 1 # package, Garlic Bread for $1.99 and Mini Bay Scallops $8.99# that were fresh and easy to sauteed and bread bake. Upon Walking in the store stop and view the History Story of the Strawberry and trademark of Nino Salvaggio. Get your photo taking within the two cute figure Strawberry Statues. :-) Photos attached There's a cooler too with strawberry items on sale as well. I bought the strawberry fluff and Oh My Deeeelicious it is. After this review will be posted My many true, helpful and informative photos to assist shoppers as well. Nino Salvaggio has been in business throughout Michigan with many locations since 1978 with 4 locations and coming soon in Livonia on Schoolctaft. The Staff work hard every time I walk in restocking fresh fruit or vegetables that are higher quality than supermarket stores. The premade meals to go are reasonable price or weekly specials help shoppers plan their meals as well. During the holidays and sales they will email you the specials of the week so sign up for emails and then a customer will receive the special rewards price and also add to your Rree membership. In their newsletter will be the specials, recipes, and a story about a sale item which is good! The Bakery is always stocked with single rolls, 4 or 6 packs or dozen. Refrigerated desserts, shelf desserts or see Ann in the Bakery to order My favorite, single cannolis, eclairs, cream puffs or creme brulee treats. There's iskes of wine labeled by flavor to assist and liquor behind the counter. I shop here for Single or 6 packs of POLISH Beer is unbelievable! The pre-made soups, salads, pizza, pastas, and other meals are worth the taste after baking at home. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup this Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of - 2 pints. The chowder had Great flavor like at a restaurant They even sell Safe Pet Calcium Chloride for the snow in the winter months along with different needed items outside the store under the building such as Spring Flowers, Fall Flowers and Holiday Items. The store areas are always clean and plenty of employees working hard to assist you when you have a question or looking for a item. Its a Family business where customers are treated as family too! Prices are slightly higher than grocery stores but its all about the hard work in cleaning, cutting and preparing the specialty meals, dishes, party trays, ready to bake entrees is what matters by freshness and packaging from the employees that enjoy their jobs here at Nino's. I glad to be a shopper here weekly for those special ideas and deals that help Me create and make my tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy My posted photos attached to help and assist future Yelp friends and shoppers decide what they want to make, and enjoy tasting with their creativity Cooking Skills! Smaczne ! Sincerely, Karen N. :-) Macomb, MI.

I am embarrassed to admit, it had been a while since we last shopped here. But our visit last week…read morereminded us that this is one awesome store. We have a few other fruit markets in the area, but this has become my latest favorite. Every twist and turn through the store offers another product to try. We came in for nothing in particular but left with a cart full. I like that they have half pies for smaller families. Their homemade soups are really good. We tried the chicken lemon rice and the chicken pot pie. Their fruits and veggies are fresh, unlike the grocery stores at times. Oh and that freshly popped smell when we walked in had us making a beeline straight to the popcorn counter. Their fresh salsa is pretty good and their homemade chips I really like. The spinach artichoke dip is very good too. We'll be going back soon for another round of 'let's try this'. We've only just begun our taste testing.

I stopped here too, today Tuesday August 15th…read more My main purchase was sweet corn. Now this location was $0.25 cheaper = $4.75 a dozen. This farm business had more white corn to choose from and the bi-color + also yellow. I bought 6 White and 6 Bi-Color to make my dozen. After parking, are large wagons carts already sorted with colored corn to bag up faster. Then pay inside and/or shop also for vegetables and FRUIT. Everything is arranged very nicely, labeled properly with signs to read prices. I bought 3 nectarines the size of a softball at $1.29# I will try and if they're juicy and sweet, then I'll come back for more. There are some summer help "students" working along with 2 old time sisters.. Owner Virginia is 84 and sister Marianne is 82. Both of them work here to keep busy with their "senior peppy energy" since it's their family business! I did not get their names, shame on me, but I will have to go back and buy some more delicious corn. I had one of each color for dinner today and it was perfect and did not need any salt because it was sweet enough. The history of this farm goes back many years since 1926 , see my photo with the sign to prove. Also do the math it's 92 years old. Its a very well-kept farm with competitive pricing and fresh produce. I have in the past bought 2 or 3 beautiful, full size hanging baskets with 6 different plants in pot at lower prices than English Gardens, or Weigands. Shhhh Again I look foward also at the end of July and the month of August to buy from this location. Clap your hands, Thumbs up for these Farmers, that are still working hard over many years, down the line carrying on the growing farm tradition and their family business name. Let's support your neighbor, the farmers that I've been here way before any other residents in this crazy busy city of Macomb Township. I am happy to drive up, stop and shop to support them! ;)

My physical therapist recommended so I decided after My appointment to check it out. When I googled this Family Farm of 5 Generations Growing & Selling At their Family Market, named Schramm's, I noticed that they were not on Yelp. Therefore 1st Add to assist other Yelpers or Shoppers! What a pleasant experience chatting with the staff and walking around the plentiful areas of fruits and vegetables and other items they sell locally. I had a great visit on Tuesday the 29th of July to shop for Corn and Pickling Cukes to make Garlic & Dill Pickles. I talked to Cheryl and Tonya working throughout the market inside the barn area with produce such as fruits and vegetables that have been harvested in June and July and will continue till ?? based on selling. I Look forward to shopping here in the Fall months for pumpkins and much more to buy and eat plus items to decorate My Home In Macomb. I have posted MANY Photos to Help promote this local and family business of hardworking members throughout their celebration of 117 years ! I came in on behalf of my fiancee to pick up some Vermont Maple oil. When I came in, I immediately realized that she was helping other customers, but wasn't acknowledged initially. I didn't know that their products were not self-serve, but they had bottles on display and I didn't see any sign that says differently. So I went to fill the bottle of the amount that I wanted. The woman finally noticed me and called me out in front of the customers she was helping. I apologized twice and she didn't acknowledge it. Her demeanor towards me compared to them was so different. When the other customers left, she proceeded to talk to me very rude in regard to how I filled the bottle and even said something to the extent of "You won't even be able to get cork on." Anyway, she doesn't have to worry about me returning because I acknowledged my mistake but it didn't warrant rude behavior beyond that. So she can take her oils and stick them up her crusty backside because I don't tolerate being treated like that, especially when I came to support the business. She can kick rocks.

This was my first time ever visiting this place, and I'm actually very disappointed in myself because I only live 2 miles away. This place is beautiful! I will admit that I had no intention of buying anything just yet, because my truck was loaded with food pantry items I was dropping off later that day. I was simply checking out the sale on Fairy garden items and window shopping to compare prices. I will tell you this, I'll be returning this week and making quite a few purchases. Everything they had was healthy, beautiful and the prices are hands down some the the best- if not the best I've seen all season. The place is organized and neat with all things clearly labeled with prices. I liked that I didn't have to keep asking an employee how much something was. The caged tomato plants had tons of fruit on them already. I can't wait to purchase the 2/$20 cages they have to grow tons of juicy tomatoes for my family. The veggie plants are very well established and I look forward to getting some cucumber and pepper plants, along with a few herbs like cilantro and chives. This greenhouse has everything and you just have to check it out for yourself. Even in this rainy, dismal day you can't help but feel good and happy here! It's a boost of sunshine for your soul! They also had a lot of beautiful gift ideas and at reasonable cost, I seen succulent and ready made fairy gardens for as low as $19.99. They would make very thoughtful teacher gifts at the end of the school year, right around the corner. Or how about a "just because gift" to brighten someone's day! I can't wait to go back and make my purchases. Yes, yes I would highly recommend this place.
