So it was nice picking up some foods that Nino's doesn't have. One thing that stands out not only here, but anywhere is the friendliness of cashiers (or lack of). Nino's cashiers are time and time again much friendlier and something as simple as that is what a customer remembers and keeps them coming back since it's the last interaction with the store as they exit. I may still shop here occasionally though because it's closer to home, but it won't be my first choice.

This farm business had more white corn to choose from and the bi-color + also yellow. I bought 6 White and 6 Bi-Color to make my dozen. After parking, are large wagons carts already sorted with colored corn to bag up faster. Then pay inside and/or shop also for vegetables and FRUIT. Everything is arranged very nicely, labeled properly with signs to read prices. I bought 3 nectarines the size of a softball at $1.29# I will try and if they're juicy and sweet, then I'll come back for more. There are some summer help "students" working along with 2 old time sisters.. Owner Virginia is 84 and sister Marianne is 82. Both of them work here to keep busy with their "senior peppy energy" since it's their family business! I did not get their names, shame on me, but I will have to go back and buy some more delicious corn. I had one of each color for dinner today and it was perfect and did not need any salt because it was sweet enough. The history of this farm goes back many years since 1926 , see my photo with the sign to prove. Also do the math it's 92 years old. Its a very well-kept farm with competitive pricing and fresh produce. I have in the past bought 2 or 3 beautiful, full size hanging baskets with 6 different plants in pot at lower prices than English Gardens, or Weigands. Shhhh Again I look foward also at the end of July and the month of August to buy from this location. Clap your hands, Thumbs up for these Farmers, that are still working hard over many years, down the line carrying on the growing farm tradition and their family business name. What a pleasant experience chatting with the staff and walking around the plentiful areas of fruits and vegetables and other items they sell locally. I came in on behalf of my fiancee to pick up some Vermont Maple oil. When I came in, I immediately realized that she was helping other customers, but wasn't acknowledged initially. I didn't know that their products were not self-serve, but they had bottles on display and I didn't see any sign that says differently. So I went to fill the bottle of the amount that I wanted. The woman finally noticed me and called me out in front of the customers she was helping. I apologized twice and she didn't acknowledge it. Her demeanor towards me compared to them was so different. When the other customers left, she proceeded to talk to me very rude in regard to how I filled the bottle and even said something to the extent of "You won't even be able to get cork on." Anyway, she doesn't have to worry about me returning because I acknowledged my mistake but it didn't warrant rude behavior beyond that. So she can take her oils and stick them up her crusty backside because I don't tolerate being treated like that, especially when I came to support the business. She can kick rocks.
