Worst customer service I've experienced. Waiting in line to make a purchase and there were two people in front of me in line. The cashier Gail turns and barks at me "there are other cashiers open". I replied "they all have customers in line also", then I thought about it and said to her "you know what I'll go wait in another line because you it's obvious you don't want to work". I love Randazzo! Always so well stocked and clean. They have such a great variety in every department. Yesterday i got a birthday cake and cannoli for my daughter's birthday and they were so darn good. The cake was $45 which seemed kind of pricey but omg it is so good and served all of our guests generously. The cannoli are filled fresh when you order them and are 4 for $5 for the "small" size which in my opinion are pretty big and so frickin good. They have a larger size cannoli too and give you the option of cream or ricotta filling, and dipped in either chocolate chips or almonds. read more

There isn't a Yelp for Randazzo Fresh Market in Clinton Twp (Garfield & 16 mile) so I'm leaving my review here. They do false advertising and don't care. This week they sent out an email for thick cut back. 1.99 lb. One day only. I checked the email to see if there was a limit on how much you could buy. No, there was not. I go into the store and wait my turn at the meat counter and when approached I asked for 10 lb pkgs of bacon. The kid said you can only get 5 lbs. I said well there's no limit on the email or on the sign on the meat counter so I'd like to see a mgr please. He said all of the mgrs are gone for the day. Mind you it 4pm. I said ok fine give me the 5 lbs so he throws it in a plastic bag and the guy that was waiting on others place the bacon flat and wrapped in the meat paper. I said yo the kid there has to be someone that I can talk to about the bacon. The kid calls this guy and I told him there's no limit in the email, ad, or the counter sign. He says yeah they were supposed to fix the counter sign. I told him it's false advertising and the 10lbs I had asked for was not all for me. I had asked the seniors I visit if they wanted some bacon and they said yes. The guy tells me he will make a courtesy jester and give me the bacon. I then said well on the other 5lbs can I get it wrapped like the other guy is wrapping the ones he packaging? The kid said would that, well he didn't. He took the plastic bags and wrapped them in the meat paper. Throughly disgusted with these people. read more

My family has raved about Randazzo's for a long time. My mom would visit constantly when I lived at home with her. I finally got to give this place a chance when I was looking for a grocery store with healthy food options, and a lot of fresh options. I was quite impressed upon walking in. I was hit with a delicious smell of pizza freshly made. They have so many different types of fruits and vegetables​ and all fresh. They do have some organic options as well. When I did purchase a few items, they lasted way longer than Meijer and Kroger ones. They also have a deli section and I did order some Turkey. It was the best Turkey I have had from a grocery store. They have quality meat and cheese. The meat lasted for a long time as well. I did not get a chance to buy bread, but it looked absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loved the seafood areas, and he was impressed with how fresh everything looked inside the store. read more

When you're looking for fresh produce, Meats, Cheese's, or a pre-prepared meal to take home to your family, Randazzo's offers you what you need. Since I was a little kid if they have been around and expanded too many different locations. The first location I ever remember seeing was in Roseville, and now to my knowledge this location is the newest. Yes it's been around for many years now, but it still feels like it's brand new when you come inside. I do feel that the layout of the store is a little bit hectic, but it's also like that at other similar stores like Vince and Joe's or Nino's. So when you come in you may have to squeeze past people who really have no idea where anything is. But once you get past that you will find what you need to prepare your family or yourself a fresh meal, or just pick one of their ready-made or hot meals up that you can just take home. The one thing that is a downfall to me is that stuff here can tend to be quite a bit more expensive. Yes you are paying for good quality, but sometimes it just doesn't make sense to get something here versus a Kroger or Meijer, or even another one of the produce stores. You really need to figure out what you're looking for, and compare different ads to see where the best place to go is. But this is a great option. I really do like this location because it's not really in the middle of a big shopping area or strip malls, so you have to seek it out to go here. Because of that I feel at this location you can get in and out of much faster than the one that's closer to me, which is at 16 Mile and Garfield. That location is also great but it is so busy everyday that I just don't ever find myself going there. I was a little bit closer to this location the last time that I stopped in, and I was pleasantly surprised then in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday there were maybe 20 cars in the parking lot. So if you live in the Hall Road area then I would suggest going to this location over others. You will get good quality items, but your back doesn't stretch as far as it would at a normal grocery store. read more

The bakery items are all picture perfect and delicious if you need a treat for a special occasion or fresh bread. However the canned/shelf stable food and the dairy products are overpriced. If you just need one or two things it's fine but otherwise get your shelf stable food and dairy products at Meijer or Kroger. The lines are always decently short, never more than 1-2 people in front of you, or else they call up more cashiers. read more

Today I am leaving a double complaint. First and most importantly please remind your people to wear their masks properly. We've been customers for many years and have watched and experienced their growth, change and improvements they have made and it's always a thoroughly interesting experience browsing and meandering through the store. When we have the extra time, we walk a bit slower and check out the thousands of food choices they offer at every twist and turn. We've found many new things to try as we've meandered through all of the displays. Yes it's a bit crowded and congested at busier times such as weekends, but pack your patience. Every department is loaded with goodies whether it's the bakery, deli, fruits, vegetables, wines, cheeses, meat and seafood, grocery department, ready made food.... it seems we always find something different to try. We have an ongoing list of what we'll try on future visits because sometimes there are too many choices to buy or try all at once. Some of the grocery and deli items are on the pricier side so those are only purchased if we're short on time and we need to grab a few groceries while it's convenient. It's an excellent location for the surrounding area and we always look forward to the next visit. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in yesterday afternoon in hopes of starting a new healthy eating regime. As soon as you are walking towards the vestibule you're hit in the face with fresh baked pizza..yummy! The gelato looked delicious as well and i'm kicking myself for not trying some. Very tempting! All the names and prices are labeled and very visible for all the items. Prices are very reasonable for how fresh the produce is. I like that the fruits told you exactly what they were, where they came from and how they taste. Our only issue was in the deli department. The number system works awesome and it shows who's waiting and who is being helped. I work in a deli and i'm pretty particular how I like my lunch meat sliced. The deli clerk didn't show us any first slices and everything was sliced way too thick. Imagine cheese and crackers. Thats how thick everything was sliced. He also gave me the wrong cheese and made it seem like it was such an inconvenience to slice something different. Plenty of brands and flavors. There is definitely something for everyone! All the workers were very helpful, especially when the power went out. Very friendly. read more

I ordered a pastry tray for a funeral, my friend picked it up for me to deliver to the funeral parlor. After she dropped it off I received a call that she was given the wrong tray and I was asked to pick it and exchange it which that was not going to happen. Then talking to the catering manager we finally resolved the problem, the family noticed that on the tray that was delivered by my friend had another name and another funeral home's name on it. So they call Randazzo and confirmed that there was a mixup and that it belongs to the other funeral home. So my tray then was taken and brought to the other place. When I went to pay my respects and asked how they liked the desserts they said they didn't receive any, I was mortified and embarrassed. Now they don't want to give me my money back only a gift card for there mix up. I would never recommend this shit show if a place to anyone. Not good customer service or experience. You will never get my business again and hopefully any one else's. read more

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It's very clean. It get crowded but runs smoothly and it's actually quite quick. When you enter the building there is a kiosk, in which you can place your deli order and then continue shopping. They text you when it's ready it the meat can be picked up in a refrigerated area. Very efficient. Baked good are amazing, however, you definitely pay for what you get. It's quite pricy. One of my favorite things is that they have an area where the food is already prepared. It's not cheap, but the serving sizes are huge and the food is delicious. You can go and pick an entre and two sides for a price. The food is restaurant quality. It's a quick and easy way to grab dinner on the way home without feeling guilty! Ohh I almost forgot. They have a pizza oven with wonderful pizza and a gelato counter. You MUST try the gelato. Have been shopping here for 20 years, always great quality produce. Meat dept is outstanding and bakery is fantastic. Prices are good in most areas, except bakery can be a bit on the higher end. Negatives are the parking lot (needs to be resurfaced) and lack of shopping cart corrals - no where to put the cart and other shoppers tend to leave them all over (in spaces, sometimes drift into aisles, etc.) Would like to see Randazzo add spots for shopping carts outside. COVID protocols seem to be slipping as more employees and customers are wearing mask improperly which is disappointing. read more

I wrote a negative review about a week ago regarding not giving rain checks. I wish I could take it back. Randazzo has gone above and beyond to insure customer satisfaction. They immediately contacted me and told me I was certainly entitled to a rain check and they would speak to their employees so won't happen again. And then they gave me the rain check plus a gift card. I think one or the other was nice, but both? Really Nice! Employee Kalena emailed me several times to keep me informed of what they were doing, and how they were resolving the issue. What EXCELLENT customer service. Thank You. read more

This is my go to fresh fruit/vegetable/meat market. Conveniently located in Hayes road between 22&23 mile road. They always have a great selection of fruits and vegetables. There bakery is on point with all the wonderful baked goods. Great selection of cakes, a little on the pricey side, but nice for special occasions. The deli carries Boars Head , lapari, and Kowalski meats and cheeses. Their meat department is great and the always run weekly specials. They also sell gelato and pizza right at the entrance if you walk in hungry. read more

My review is specifically regarding the catering. The Catering Manager is great, very personable, answered my questions and placed order for my son's graduation party. My husband and I went to pick it up and glad we arrived early. Although the order was correct on the receipt and items highlighted as if the kitchen staff highlighted to make sure they had the order correctly made, we noticed when our order was brought to us we were missing one of the pasta trays. When I inquired about it, some guy behind the counter looked at the receipt as if questioning us like we were wrong, only to find out we were right and even though someone highlighted the quantity of 2 there was only 1 made. So we had to wait 30 minutes for them to make another tray of pasta, which was not to the same quality as of the first one. We also didn't have our fruit bowl at first. Additionally, for the salad being $120 for just plain salad was expecting it to be larger. (We ran out at the party). While we were waiting for the pasta to be made I went to the manager, a middle-aged guy with dark hair that didn't say anything...no "I'm sorry for you having to deal with this", no "let me take a little something off your order" or perhaps a gift card. We paid almost $750. Nothing. I have been a long time customer of this location and I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon, if ever. We ended up being late to our own son's graduation party since we had another place to stop at after for chicken. Unacceptable. I have used Vince and Joes for catering multiple times no issues and will just go back to them next time. While Randazzo food was mostly good, I can't afford to take a risk of having issues with a future order. And for the employees to seem to care less, made the already stressful situation worse. read more

It is hit or miss on Randazzo's meats. I have bought city chicken here many times. Lately it is all pork, tough and not tender no matter how long it is cooked. I have tried it in the crock pot many times and it comes out horrible as well as the oven. I don't recommend their city chicken. Same thing goes for their breaded (tasteless )veal. The Wizbicki's fresh sausage has always remained fresh and wonderful. Their baby back ribs when on sale, are good. You have to check their specials starting on Thursdays to get better deals. So decided to go back to randazzos and give them another chance after they blew it over year ago. I waited at the meat counter for 5 minutes I asked the guy excuse me and he says I have to hold on. Another customer came up and asked is he helping you I told her he told me to wait a minute. After a little while I said excuse me again and explained I was on a 1/2 hour lunch break and needed to get back to my work He refused to serve me saying he was busy and refused to give me his name so I can complain to their manager. Their friendly employees, quality of all food items and overall commitment to customer satisfaction makes me return day after day. No- literally, I'm in here nearly everyday! Just look at my check in record. Last nite I grabbed a pizza for me and my husband to enjoy for dinner. It was a split second decision and probably the best one made in a while. I asked Destiny, who works the pizza department to box up 1/2 of the pepperoni and 1/2 of the mushroom pizza. I ran through the store and grabbed a few other items and checked out. It took me all of less then 10 minutes. I went to pizza counter and asked for my pizza. Destiny said he's boxing it up now, confused looked on face, she replied boss made you a fresh pie. Nice! Got it home and WOW! Big slices of fresh mushrooms. Meaty and cooked perfectly in wood oven, with bite to them still. The earthiness was a flavor I've never tasted before, combined with the cheese- blew my taste buds away. This may seem like an exaggerated description, but get a Mushroom pizza from them and experience it yourself. It's something special for certain. The pepperoni side was equally as good. Loaded with little old world pepperoni, the kind that cup up when they are cooked. The charred crust, that had small spots of black, was watched over like a hawk and turned evenly while I that 800* oven- it was perfect. I can't believe this was the 1st time I've had one of their made to order pizza. All these years missing out! It's a great price too. Cheese only for $9.99, 2 toppings for $10.99, or unlimited toppings for $11.99. They sell singles slices too and always for a few pies to chose from. A must try for certain! read more
