Meijer's Bakery WOW WOW WOW…read more Wow -- what exceptional service from the bakery department at the Meijer on Columbus Pike! We needed a Mickey Mouse birthday cake in less than 36 hours for a little boy's special birthday wish, and no other bakery in the area could guarantee it. The Store Director, Dessie, personally walked us through decorative options and assured us it would be ready by Sunday afternoon -- and she delivered on that promise. There was a minor issue at pickup, but Natasha corrected it within five minutes with professionalism and a smile. That kind of responsiveness truly makes a difference. The final cake was exactly what we hoped for, and our son is going to be thrilled. It's rare to find a team that steps up so quickly and makes things happen when you're in a pinch. We sincerely appreciate Dessie and Natasha for going above and beyond. Thank you!

I assume I've been here before, but maybe not; haven't reviewed it and it didn't feel familiar inside. It's big, and bright and clean. Parking lot is better-designed than some Krogers in town. Service (help with self checkout) was great. Prices are high, at least on stuff I buy. I look for sales here, and even then often things are more expensive than Meijer's regular prices. But I use coupons, and I get free e-gift-cards once in awhile so I wait till I have multiple discounts saved up. Really wouldn't come here except Kid K likes a few of their branded items. Meats are good here, as always. Produce is okay. They were out of a few things I wanted. Good location in the retail megaplex.

The radishes were gigantic --but really hot-- but we were able to purchase other salads at comparable prices to other major chains. They have an extensive deli featuring Boarshead, but nothing really prepared there, huge disappointment because it's really what we came for. Everything is frozen or ready to heat, with nothing hot and ready to eat. I mistakenly got the sushi-- which I was later to learn was NOT fresh tasted like it had been sitting all day and not very eatable. Standard nigiri which should be easy? Yuck! Should be time stamped!!!! We will also try some of the andouille sausages and hamburgers but the seafood and meat selections looked good --for whatever that's worth. The store is very clean with a huge selection of products, we only sampled a small percentage with somewhat mixed results.

Very rarely find a "name brand" product. I can shop at Aldi spend less and serve food that is tasty and enjoyable! As a more frequent visitor to this store, I have purchased items to fix special holiday foods at a better price and because of the prices I am able to make more for less!

The absolute BEST item in the store is the ham salad! They make their ham in house and use it for the ham salad as well as sell it sliced. It's great on bread and crackers alike, you may even find yourself eating it with a spoon.. or finger ( no judgment here!) My only complaint is that it's very pricey. Yes, it's a small business and I get that. However, money only goes so far and choices need to be made. So, they are on a once every couple of weeks rotation for us. They have a punch card that gives you a punch when you spend $50 on one purchase. You do not get 2 punches if you spend $100 sadly. Once you get so many punches, you get so much off your next purchase.
