I haven't been into this location since pre-pandemic, but my past experiences have always been positive. Not sure what was going on when I stopped in just before Snowmaggedon 12/22. Most of the shelves needed re-stocking and every single line was a minimum of 10 people deep, even the self-check out area. I waited 45 minutes to be checked out. The cashier had trouble hearing her scanner so scanned several of my items multiple times (coffee was scanned 4 times!). Good thing I was paying attention and was able to have it corrected. Sadly, the staffing and stocking issue isn't isolated to this location. I've seen it in Powell too and have since moved my business to Giant Eagle. read more

Kroger Marketplace in Lewis Center needs help with employment, customer service, and technology. The last couple of times I've placed an online order they were having technical difficulties. The first time, I waited 50 minutes on my order to come out. The second time I waited 20 minutes until I went into the store to cancel my order. The man working the customer service desk gave me an annoyed look after he had to stop laughing with his co-worker and before putting down his 20 oz of soda to ask me what I needed as if he didn't want to do his job. Most of the time there is a long line to check out. I would like to give the seafood department credit though, they are always happy and ready to help. read more

Kroger's newer pick up program is so cool. It save so much time to do my shopping while waiting in line somewhere else or on the couch. My wife and I can both add to the list which is nice. Appreciate that you take coupons at pick up as well. Great rewards program and selection. Excellent pick up service every time so far. We actually get really fresh produce and good expiration dates. They don't give you the junk or dated items because you have them do the shopping. Enjoy the gas rewards program and the unique shopper coupons that focus on your favorite buys. This is the Kroger that I prefer in our area. The floral department is amazing and I love the selection of produce they offer. I love that they have sushi there and a good selection of cheeses and the meat department is amazing as well. The gentlemen back are always helpful. Definitely the better Kroger . This used to be our favorite Kroger to visit. We live in Westerville and would travel there to do our shopping. But in the past year the quality and service provided has dropped significantly which is very disappointing. Bakery does not stick fresh backed bread, produce is iffy at best and service overall is poor. To top it off Kroger now charges to get cash back. We spend well over $1000 a month at the grocery store and expect fresh food and bakery items and friendly helpful service. This was my last time at this store. read more

Do not go to the store for grocery pick up service. Terrible experience. A row of cars waiting in line for groceries up to an hour late. No explanation other than a delivery person who came to my car and said that a "bunch of highschoolers had called in and they didn't have enough manpower!"Put on hold for 15 minutes. Sat waiting for my groceries 45 minutes beyond appointed pick up time. I was told to call HR! Woman who answered the phone at this Kroger store was very rude. Manager said he didn't know they were running behind. More: As I get home and I'm unpacking I realize they have literally thrown my groceries into bags produces mixed with chips meat with crackers. Yes, I am a Kroger fan this much is true and this is a fairly new big Kroger on this quickly developing part of 23. Yes I have at least two Kroger stores closer to me but I really like this location for many reasons. First off this is a huge store that is very clean and offers many shopping, coffee and eating options under one roof. The staff here is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you and almost any special request you have. My latest great find at this store is a selection of meats from Smoking Goose Meatery out of Indianapolis, one of the few places in central Ohio you can find their fantastic snausages, bacon and some awesome truffle bologna. These little things and the great selection of Kroger branded items that are as good if not superior to national brand name items. There is a Kroger Gas station on property to use those fuel points up on also.... read more

The issue persists no matter what day or time I change to consistently, even after asking staff for recommendations on day/time to use. I want to start by saying I love this location and have never had an issue up until now. Today I came in to get some essentials and noticed none of the employees at self check out had gloves or masks on which is very concerning to me. I only saw the individuals at the little clinic wearing appropriate protection. I'm not sure if there's a shortage of it or if they just chose not to wear it but that's a serious problem. There were two employees at self checkout standing right next to each other wearing no protective gear while looking at a phone. Again, I've never had an issue with this location but this seems careless. Everyone should be wearing gloves and masks while keeping appropriate distance whether you're a shopper or employee. read more

This place is NEVER fully stocked. This is the closest grocery store to my home, so I'm here one to two times a week and every single time I leave without something that was on my list.... it's an on going joke with my family. As soon as this Kroger Marketplace was built, we immediately switched from Giant Eagle and became regular shoppers. 1. Great and ever-changing microbrew selection 2. Always fresh deli with very pleasant staff 3. Large selection of brands (if it exists, they normally have it) 4. Fast checkouts with cashiers and baggers who seem to genuinely want to help 5. Impressive wine selection with an expert on staff and various sampling events 6. Generous free samples throughout the bakery and the store (keeps the hubby happy) 7. Double coupons! 8. Starbucks! My one watch-out is for the sushi. It looks great, but I had an unpleasant incident with it about a year ago that turned out to be food poisoning. This place was very nice. A lot food choices to eat in a mini food court other than grocery. This Kroger marketplace even offers clothing which was really cool. The seasonal section was very well stocked and had a good variety. The best experience I had was drinking a beer and shopping. I've never drank a beer and shopped before, what a game changer! Someone is in the market to give Walmart a run for their money. Could Kroger's be the next big box store contender? Well, it certainly seems that way. This Kroger marketplace has undergone renovations from home decor marketed to clothing and other home necessities. A MAJOR plus in my opinion as people are always in need of new socks, shoes or work slacks as opposed to a new sofa. Smart move. Aside from the other one stop features in this store... I really like this location. I always see people working in produce keeping stuff rotated, the dry shelf products are never expired (a problem I have had a other Krogers) and service is usually decent. You can usually always find someone to help. Bathrooms located on both sides of the store... an onsite health clinic and the list goes on. (Seriously, people) We come here quite often when we don't feel like dealing with the chaotic and unprofessional Powell location and will continue to do so. They have won me over. This is a pretty huge Kroger's Marketplace but very neat and bright. Starbucks, Chase bank, jewelry, a clinic, a place to get your growler refilled and have wine and cheese and of course food. There is a bread station there where you can take the whole loaf and slice it in the slicer machine and a great bakery that had some pretty good looking tarts. They had some food stuffs at this location that I haven't been able to find at other stores which made me quite happy. While I wasn't impressed with some of their hot food selections (the Giant Eagle off of Tremont wins the award for that) the rest of the store was great. read more

This place is great. I study here in the Starbucks that is embedded within the store. They have just about everything you could want "grocery-wise," and then add in the furniture, picture frames, TVs, etc. that you would expect from a Kroger Marketplace that makes it more than a grocery store. Never had any real trouble with the people who work here, occasionally there is an item or two that I can't get here that is available at the Giant Eagle down the road, but 9 times out of 10 it is exactly the other way around. I recommend this place if you live in the area or need a place to study with free Wi-Fi. It's my go-to place when I just can't take another day of studying at Panera. read more

Wow seriously the best grocery store I've ever been in! The store was really clean and looked really new/nice. Everything looked well organized even though the employees were putting up their shipment. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I asked an employee that was putting up stock. Even though he didn't know where it was, he went and asked someone else so that i was able to quickly find the item I needed. I was surprised to see that they even had a furniture section at this location! I didn't really get a chance to look at the whole store since I had only gone in to pick up a few items, but I was definitely impressed with the way the store looked! read more

The grocery store was very neat and clean. Well supplied. But the cashier was very nasty. The man in front of me bought all of his groceries and he forgot to get his recipe. I saw her throw it away and when he came back to ask for it, she said that it was in one of his bags. And I said to her, I saw you throw it out and she said that was the customer before him. Which I do not believe. She wanted exact change, as only Kroger does, and when I voiced the fact that Kroger is the only grocery store around that has coin shortage issues, she was talking to another cashier that came over close to her, and they said, WELL IT IS POSTED. I have questions why no other grocery store around the area has issues with coin shortage, not even the banks. This cashier is obviously stressed. I love this Kroger! It is by far my favorite in Columbus! I grew up in the area and was very excited when this Kroger opened! It is always clean and well maintained! My only complaint is about the pharmacy. The manager is very unhelpful and rude. He has told me the he could not fill a prescription "per law" and that he would call my doctor- he never did. He never seems like he wants to be there and always makes you feel like you are putting him out. Most of his staff is the same. There is one lady there that is helpful, and I always hope I get her when I go in. My doctor has told me to start going to a new pharmacy because the manager is giving me false information regarding my medication, which is horrible. Pharmacists (especially the manager) should be up to date on the laws/rules of medications. It's very unfortunate that the pharmacy is so poor, because I love all the other departments and have never had any other issues. Hopefully something changes! read more

I. Love. This. STORE!!!! Yes, you can probably find your groceries a little cheaper elsewhere, but Kroger reminds me every time I visit what customer service is all about! Every time I go in there, I am so pleased. I can't turn a corner without an employee greeting me and asking me if I need help finding something. A few weeks ago, I spent some QT with Chris the butcher, and I told everyone I saw about him for the next few days. He took great care in advising me, and even personally squired me to the featured seasonings to make recommendations. I left with two blends that are absolutely delicious! I even got to sample some bison steak, and it was really tasty. I also really enjoyed talking to the checkout crew-Marisa the at the register, and Grant the bagger. Everyone was all smiles, and I'll be back frequently. Keep up the great work, Kroger! My only suggestion at this time is to better label the hot foods that are at the bar and deli. This is the best Kroger I've ever been to! The food selection is great and the beer selection is much wider than any other Kroger I've ever been to before. Usually workers at Krogers are NOT very helpful. They often talk to themselves and don't even help you. But this location was MUCH different! They even sold me a beer stein that wasn't even originally for sale! They sell alot of stuff too. Even toys for kids! I was able to buy my nephew his first birthday gift here! This is a great grocery and a real change from what I'm used to! I'll be doing much more shopping here! My grocery store has officially changed for the best! read more

I have been going to the store for 2 years or so. They are lucky i love my pharmacist otherwise, I'd tell them to bug off!! I bought something with a security tag on it the cashier messed up and the scanner at the door went off. So the dumb Blondie, whose also a manager come up to me and says I just want to make sure that you don't have clothes on with a tag still on it. I said HELLO, i just told you i bought Nicotine gum for hubby how many times have I bought this and your cashier messed up? I pulled it out the bag and her scanner went off again at the door. Jessica (the manager) goes OH OOPS?! In essence, watch who you speak to. Make sure that all your devices are detagged when leaving the store. The cashiers need to be trained better making the scanner NOT GO OFF. If management has something to say to me. I can be reached at home..:) You seriously need to fix this problem. It was rather embarrassing me having to point out to a MANAGER that her scanner was not fixed. Otherwise, I would go else where. Mr. Maher our pharmacist is the BEST manager they have at the store. When a customer that's a regular has to prove something in their system is messed up, something isn't right. Please fix this. Nice new store with an express door for quick lunch finds, Starbucks, a jewelry store, furniture (aka more home accessories) and a HUGE selection from fine wines, organic, deli and bakery. The only negative thing might be the size and my inability to where to navigate to find something. It's very clean and new. People are friendly and there are always a ton of fresh fruits and samples. I love this krogers! I drive out of my way sometimes just to go to this one! Once the remodel was done took getting use to on where they changed things but it's okay. The deli is awesome. And they have a chef that makes twice baked potatoes yummy!! read more
