Surrounded by farm land, it is no surprise that the market is filled with fabulous fresh produce, breads and eggs. I've been coming here for years. There were about 18 vendors. In addition to produce, a number of vendors were selling local hand crafted goods. The prices are great! The market is not fancy. There is no band or restaurants selling fancy breakfast items, like some of the trendy markets. It's a nice old school farmer's market. The people were super friendly. Parking was close and easy and it took less than 30 minutes to walk through and get my bounty. I'll be back.

It's an older store, the aisles are relatively close together or packed with lots of other things. Still not a problem for a couple people to get down through them at one time, but just not as wide open as some of the bigger stores. Their selection is pretty good, though today it seemed as if they had a lot of empty shelves, could be a restock day, but I was surprised at how empty some of the shelves were. Prices are relatively reasonable. It is a chain so you would expect that. I did get some help from a guy when I was checking out, and he was very nice and quick about it. Didn't make me wait. Didn't make any big deal about it I appreciated that. A decent store if you need to come get your groceries. It's not like a Walmart or a Meijer, which are much busier, and certainly larger. This one feels more like a local grocery store. They had flowers, alcohol, fresh fruits, and vegetables, cards, school supplies, and also an area of the local high schools spirit wear.

They are beautiful stores that are well kept up, the staff is excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Obviously, the stores are nowhere near as big as the supermarkets, however, they do provide a nice selection of items. Obviously not as broad of a selection, but they certainly have everything you would need from a market. I like coming here to get vegetables and fruit, as well as when I just need to grab a few things on the way home. Prices are similar to other markets, and for the atmosphere, which never feels crowded, is a great choice.

When I have come in for the few things that I needed they've always had them. The one thing I love about Aldi is that their stores are all set up very similarly so you aren't spending all your time at a new location trying to find what you need. This store hasn't been updated like some of the others in the indy are but its still an excellent store. Parking is always easy (could be because I go at about 730 at night). Their staff is always friendly and lines are always well managed (which could be again because of the time I visit this location). A few things about Aldi, if you've never shopped here: -bring a quarter for your shopping cart (if you don't have one you can always go inside and borrow one from the cashier). Aldi does this to keep carts out of the parking lot (which helps keep their prices lower because they don't have to pay someone to fetch carts. -bring your own shopping bags, or be prepared to pay for either plastic or paper bags or you can gather empty boxes throughout the store to manage and transport your items (another way Aldi helps keep the price of their items down) -if you have a question, don't expect to call in on the phone for an answer because they don't keep someone at a desk to answer phone calls (another way to keep their cost down because they aren't paying someone to sit at a desk to answer calls that are few and far between) Try Aldi out because you are guaranteed to have lower prices with the same if not better quality of food. Aldi also stands behind their double replacement guarantee if you are unsatisfied. They will 1. refund you as well as 2. replace the item.

This is the local Greenfield food pantry for low income and others who are going thru tough…read morefinancial times and needing some groceries to eat. They accept food and money donations, and are mostly operated by local church groups and they are all unpaid volunteers, helping because it's a good cause. I have driven by and seen the parking lot full at times and people lined up out the door. So this is a great type of charity, that returns instant visible results by providing groceries for the hungry so they can eat. I think they are only open about 3 days a week and only during certain times for maybe 2 or 3 hours at a time. The days and hours are posted on the main entry door. It's a large blue warehouse building at the south edge of Greenfield on St Rd 9, just behind the swimming pool supply building. If you're feeling generous and want to do a good deed and create some great instant karma for yourself, ha, then go to Aldi or a similar low cost food store and talk to the manager about a possible discount, and buy several cases of canned food and bring them here as a donation. Trust me, this will make you feel better and lift your spirits knowing you helped feed others in need. And you never know when you might be in need someday for something too, and you will be glad there are strangers willing to help, no questions asked.
