I was killing some time in Fort Wayne one day after a Dentist appointment and decided, maybe I should do some grocery shopping and save myself having to do it in a few days on my weekend. This Kroger was the nearest grocery store to my dentist office, so I decided to go in. I am glad I did, specifically for one reason: it had Boars Head Deli meat. I love Boars Head Deli meat. I am originally from Florida, and I would buy it weekly while shopping at Publix. My usual place to get Boars Head Deli meat is under renovations, and another place I frequent for it does have it. Neither place, though, have the large variety and selection this Kroger Marketplace has. Case in point, it sells Boars Head Rosemary and Sun-dried Tomato Ham. I have not been able to have it since leaving Florida in early 2020. I was so happy! The deli workers were very patient as I gave them a large order to fulfill on many of the Boar's Head products. Besides that, I did do my rest of the grocery shopping while here. I did find some beautiful roses for $12, that I got for my mom's birthday. I had ordered some from a flower shop and since I have another vase, I thought more flowers can't hurt. My mother loved them. Great shopping experience, and I will come back. read more

Monica is possibly the rudest employee i've ever encountered at kroger. i needed help at the checkout and all she did was rudely tell me to read the screen. like i obviously knew that and tried to do what it said multiple times. she not only said that but then walked away as i tried to ask for further help. my day had already been bad, this just made it even worse. read more

I generally love to shop at Kroger. While I love so many things about them this location has 3 stars for two reasons. 1) the parking lot sucks. It's terrible and I will go to another location Kroger if I'm near one bs this one around the corner from my house solely because of the parking situation. 2) it's BUSY. I don't care what time of day you go it's always busy. So expect long check lines although they do their best to get you checked out quickly. Kroger is hands down the best deals. With their constant buy 5 get $5 off or other deals like that it's just a great way to save money if you're on a budget. Their shelves are always always stocked and the employees are plenty with great knowledge of where their products are located so if you don't find something; ask. The store is always clean and the grocery carts never seem to drag the wheels or have broken child straps And are in great shape overall. The isles are wide enough for two carts to pass each other by and products are easily faced outward for the shopper to see. Their store app is great showing the weekly add, click list section, in store coupon clipping and showing items you frequently buy to add them to your shopping list. Super user friendly and doesn't crash In my opinion. With so many options to buy groceries Kroger is number one for me. Great place to shop. read more

Some of the employees are rude when you ask them a question.some get upset at you and they make it known.

Rudest employees. The manager told me he wasn't going to help me. I was so hurt the last interaction I had with them.

The Pharmacy sucks!! I went through the drive through and they sent out my medications and debit card through the chute without putting them in a bag and the female was rude as Hell.Kroger needs to teach them customer service skills. read more

They carry a large variety of items, and that's why I keep going back, but I am disappointed again and again because so many items are always out of stock. Not a week goes by where they're out of something and I have to completely change my recipe or dish for the week because of it. Today for example (Saturday afternoon) they were out of fresh leeks, shelled frozen edamame, and the Just egg omelettes. Ugh. This is by far the busiest store making it hard for social distancing. The customer service is lacking, but I think it's because they're so busy. Perhaps if you find out what day the trucks come and then maybe come during the work week it may be better, but I don't know. read more

I'm not really digging Kroger on Dupont Road. Place is a little weird, I feel folks having hostility up in here and the employees are kind of like zombies. Glad I grabbed my few things I needed and got the heck out. A lot of space cadets up in here for sure, weird folks, no personality and zombie of a shell People up in here this evening. I didn't enjoy it here you could say, was glad to get the heck out and go back home to earth . Place had a weird vibe to it, very weird indeed. They had a few decent sale items and I got the heck out of here. Good deli items up at Kroger you got to give them that. The meat department is generally overpriced and no specials or sales on the meats. The meat isn't so great. I like Meijer better and it's cheaper. Kroger weird place. This world would be much better if people just treated people nicely. First of all, I am a customer. I am a frequent customer who spends probably $500 per week between Kroger and Meijer in the area. Now don't get me wrong, it was very busy. With busy comes stress as employees just want to service customers faster. This said employee was a very nice lady. I could tell she was a grandma type). I have never seen her before. The customer in front of me asked for $100 cash back. The cashier was in need of cash. She called over a manager and asked for some. The manager, supervisor, lead, or whomever she was was so rude to her and right out mean to be honest. She yelled at her in front of me and like 50 other customers.... While I felt very bad for her, there was a bagging employee who I have seen many many times and is special and has such a sweet personality. She has worked there a long time and was suggesting the "grandma" employee try giving her smaller change of which The "grandma" employee responds so rudely to her telling her "I don't know what you are trying to say but just bag." Now, this is a prime example of a poor attitude moving through the culture of an organization. I mentioned to the "grandma" employee as I was leaving, "I could tell your manager was very rude to you." She responded with "I know. Isn't it terrible!" I then said, "yes; however, while that is really terrible, you turned right around an were very rude and the same way to the bagging employee." She looked up in shock and said "what did I do?" I just told her that negative behavior passes down and we could all be a better society if we just stop the negative... I really hope the management at Kroger read this and try and change the culture that America deserves. It all starts within ourselves and passes on. I bought the prepared Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was good but the sides were awful from Home Chef. I was able to doctor up green bean casserole, so I could eat that. The other sides went in the trash. Wasn't worth $70 that's for sure. Will try elsewhere next year. read more

This past week I ordered a cake from my local Kroger bakery for my son's birthday party. I used the website, and I wrote some additional directions for its decoration. Ok here is my rant. #1}I have a handicapped plackard due to alot of back problems. Came to the store could not find a handicapped place. there was however a Kroeger pharmacy truck parked in one of them that should not happen...Ended up parking way out and very hard for me to walk as people are not to patient. #2}Trying to shop around those dam online orders being filled in those big carts. they park them in your way and don't move making it hard to shop and get items that they are blocking. at times they go around the corner with those things very fast and I have almost gotten run into twice!!!! also the produce section they do the same thing. I was standing in front of one picking out salads and guess was taking to l ong so this person asked another customer to go get the things she needed as I was in her way so she did just stepping in front of me no excuse me nothing she did it twice and handed the things to the cart lady.#3} you seem to forget that you have customers in the store shopping too and all I ask is to be able to shop with no stress or confrontations from your employees or others. #4] your parking lot is a night more to get out of many times I get trapped because of people cutting me off and people waiting for someone to pull out etc. last weekend we decided to go to a different Kroeger....the parking much better but still crabby cart people in the way. some of the ones working by the self check outs are crabby and rude.... wake up Meijers looks pretty good!!!!! read more

I recently moved here from Chicago and the first market/store that I ever been to was Kroger. Let me start by saying the store is huge...man it has everything. I was really impressed, very Clean! Now I must say that it's not very cheap at all it's kind of expensive but you get what you pay for definitely. I personally never had a bad experience with any of the workers I actually always had good experience. There very friendly and always help out when needed. It does get very busy Saturdays and Sundays. So I suggest you save your grocery day for the week days. I love going to this place even though it does get very expensive . It's worth it! Like seriously they have everything that you need.. PS. They recently added a clothing section which I really don't like. I don't even look at them because they don't really have much . They used to have furniture which I liked way better I think they should definitely take out the clothes. I don't even think they sell much. Anyways I never ever go for the clothing .always go for their food selection, loved it read more

SPECIAL NOTE: This location is temporarily closed while they are expanding and renovating it for re-opening this July. All shoppers are directed to go to the Scott's Market (also owned by Kroger's) directly across Dupont Road. I hear that Kroger's is intending on consolidating Kroger's and Scott's when they move back into this new, enlarged facility. My hope is that they don't cut out TOO MUCH of the items that Scott's stocks, such as their organic and healthy food (Ezekial Bread & Cererals, Jone's Sodas, etc). I believe that the current Scott's location will then be closed, following the move. read more

Great store, but I really miss the tomato bar! It offered a great selection of cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, small heirloom tomatoes and the like. They were so much fresher than the pre-packaged tomatoes and you could pick just you wanted. Please bring the tomato bar back!! read more

Big clean store, ppl working the checkout lanes and deli are super nice. My complaint is that they seem to stock during very busy times, and they block the isles and the stocking employees are not as friendly and don't seem to care about being in the customer's way. So when shopping I do not like finding expired product on your shelf. I picked up an orange juice and placed it in my cart. My hubby noticed it was dated for Aug 13 that was over a month ago. So he looked at the rest of the items in our cart and found two expired yogurts and the cream cheese had only two days until it expired. Really? He found a guy stocking the shelves and told him. The younger guy told him it happens all the time. If it happens all the time then why is nothing being done about it. Wow! No more shopping there. read more

Why do you send out manufacturer coupons on products you do not have or do not carry. Your shelves are bare in some areas. Your workers are rude. Cannot find or get to what you want to look at because the workers have the great big carts in front of the section. Over all, I think I am going to go elsewhere for my shopping. The carts, well a lot of times you need to take your cart in from the parking lot. All in all the store is a mess. read more

This Kroger location is a favorite. We shop here often and find that for the most, the staff are always helpful and very friendly. We have always had a good experience with deli items, meat department too. Love the bakery. This location is a market place so they offer many nice features not seen and normal Kroger locations. The deli has a Sushi station, buffet style hot items, salad bar, and Murray Cheese center also. They have a variety of clothing items also. We've always found the produce to be fresh and good quality as well. Prices we do find higher than say a Walmart, but I've found the quality to be way better, service too! read more

This Kroger store has a lot of good points and a few bad ones. Food and produce are good and getting better each week. If you go on their coupon site, they are now giving away a free item each week. Prices are always higher at Kroger except for specials that are chosen each week. The variety of grocery items is great! As for the clothes and socks, not too bad for some. Some are way way too high. There has been a discount coupon usually each week if you clip it out. Have never seen the 25% off coupon. The customer service window(s) is usually understaffed and has had a rude person manning it during the day. Why stand in line for 15 minutes to get something done that could be quickly resolved? This needs attention right away. Also not good at this Dupont Rd store are the pot holes along the road or street coming into the main parking along the side into the front of the store from Coldwater Rd. There are also fallen rusty street lights by the church behind this Kroger store and some other street lights others getting ready to fall around this store. Maybe the store manager doesn't see them. Kroger is said to own the vast area but doesn't take care of it. There is a new Starbucks coffee shop now here at this store. Waiting to try.
